I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Catherine Gauthier.
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing her been mentioned here also Didn't know she has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, I'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.

Well, I’ve saved up $188k in my emergency fund and now I’m looking to finally dip my toes into the investment pool... but man, the stock market’s a rollercoaster! I guess this jobs report sinking everything isn’t helping, huh? I’m looking for a solid headstart though, someone point me in the right direction!
Hey, I get it - I was in the same boat. I took the plunge with the help of a financial advisor, and honestly, it made all the difference. They helped me focus on long-term growth instead of getting caught up in the market's mood swings. It’s worth the investment to get the right guidance.
Such uncertainties are the reasons I don’t base my judgement on a ''heresay''. My dollar portfolio is made up of 30% S&P500, 25% Index funds(ETFs),15% Gold and over 30% in digital assets, thanks to my CFA for this accurate asset allocation. This strategy is what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.
Crypto is risky as many would say but I think the actual risk in Crypto is not investing, buying the capitulation isn't a tough call, but it is a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 22k and I’m up with 378k in a short period of time. Thanks to Loraine Souvenir.

Surprised to see her mentioned here! She tailors trading courses to suit beginners’ needs and really knows her stuff. Her advice has been invaluable to my trading journey-definitely worth it!
Kicking off this year with such high hopes, especially with Bitcoin, has been a journey. Let’s be real while hodling has its place, those waiting for only the big skyrocket moments might be missing out. Day trading has given me more steady, consistent growth thanks to Loraine Souvenir guidance and her daily signals. Couldn’t have done it without her!
Investing has proven to be an incredibly beneficial decision. My cryptocurrency profits continue to play a substantial role in growing my overall wealth, reducing my reliance on my salary
It's truly refreshing to see a comment about Loraine Souvenir. I've also had the pleasure of working with her for several months after discovering more about her online. She has a knack for simplifying complex issues, whether it's a market surge or decline. Her approach consistently keeps you ahead of the curve. I'd call her a guru, for sure
Yessir Marcos! Your consistency in both RUclips and Investing will be huge one day! You should do a video breaking down how much you make on RUclips, say when you hit 20k or 30k subs. I’d watch it lol😆
I run SPLG as my largest ETF with QQQM, SCHD, FTEC, FDVV, and VB. What are your thoughts having FTEC in a diversified portfolio? It is sector specific but the returns are definitely great!
I like FTEC a lot in a diversified portfolio. Certainly the best in the business for a low expense ratio and great track record of information technology stocks. It’s a great one for the long term in my opinion 😆
I got 870 SCHG and 512 SCHD, I got in at the beginning of the year. Down more days than up, down $350 to date, but I expect a huge SCHG jump the seconds half of tomorrow and even more so on Tuesday after the world sees Bezos, Zuckerberg, Tim Cook & Musk at Trump's inauguration. Buy now and get July 2024 prices.
Great question! Preferably you want one or the other. I’ve been investing in VOO for about 6 years now (more heavily over the last 2 years since I graduated college and was able to make more income). But when I started to work full time, the company I work for only has a 401k match with select ETFs and the only viable etf is VTI for large cap us equities. So I chose VTI for my 401k and it’s my only 401k position :)
Just bought my first shares of SCHG yesterday. Perfect timing to see this! Now I'm trying to decide which core & dividend ETFs to purchase. Too many options!
I’d highly recommend you’d watch my video “if I had to pick one etf to buy and hold forever”. I laied out a few of the best options for those types of ETFs. I feel like you can’t go wrong with an S&P 500 ETF (popular options are VOO and SPLG) and for the dividend ETFs (I like schd and dgro)
@Marcos_Milla I also grabbed 657 shares of SCHD and 58 shares of VOO. I think this three fund portfolio should work. I keep being told to add VO the Vanguard mid cap but have held off.
The main thing is how aggressive you want to be which falls into the risk tolerance. Some say that people in their 50s should inherently have a lower risk tolerance than someone say in their 20s or 30s. You might be the opposite and think hey I should take on more risk if you wish, but if I was in my 50s and had this portfolio, I’d do something like 50% VTI, 30% SCHG, 20% SCHD. You can give or take 5-10% points for each category if you prefer it elsewhere.
Very true. The fund overlap between qqqm and schg is 61%, certainly not as bad as schg and vug which is 83% but still very high. Since I like both ETFs, I have QQQM in my taxable brokerage account and SCHG in my ROTH IRA. The thought process was since they are pretty similar in returns and will most likely be very correlated, I just decided to do a split between the different accounts. If schg does better than qqqm in one year, great, and vice versa. That was my thought process
you own QQQM either by investing in whole shares or fractional shares. So since the stock price is $211, to own it you can invest as little as $1 on most brokerages or just buy it for $211. Another way is to just buy all the 100 stocks in different percentages which is way more complex and inconvenient
I really appreciate your efforts! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Charlotte Miller.
I'm celebrating £32K stock portfolio today... Started this journey with £3K.... I've invested no time and also with the right terms, now I have time for my family and life ahead of me.
I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Charlotte Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
So I allocate QQQM in my taxable brokerage account and SCHG as the top holding in my Roth IRA. I started my Roth a year ago and by the time I’ve maxed it out this year, they should roughly be at a 50/50 dollar amount balance split between them
The issue is that either the renter or the owner must in some way pay insurance and property taxes if they want a "permanent roof" with utilities like electricity, gas and water. Because of this, many people-at least in California, where I currently reside-are living in tents. No taxes, rent, mortgages, or insurance. The number of people who tell me they live in their car that I meet amazes me. Its crazy out here!
It’s getting wild by the day. The prices of homes are quite ridiculous and Mortgage prices has been skyrocketing on a roll(currently over 7%). Sometimes i wonder if to just invest my spare cash into the stock market and wait for a housing crash or just go ahead to buy a home anyways.
This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $400,000.
Please how can I connect to your advisor? My funds are being murdered by inflation, and I'm looking for a more profitable investing strategy to put them to work.

$CHG/SCHD are an awesome combo VGT/SCHD are great too! JEPQ/SCHD are good to take the dividends and buy SCHG!
🙏🏼🙏🏼SCHG
Indeed! I have JEPQ and SCHD in my portfolio. I was mindful about ensuring that I did not have a substantial amount of fund overlap between both ETFs.
1000%
Your graphics are always 10/10- love your videos Marcos. I own both ETF's, but SCHG is my fave. KUPTGW.
Thank you!😆😆😆I try my best when I edit. It’s the fun part to choose and edit the graphics

Several of these parameters are negligible, like cost, beta, and performance. You are right to have both in your portfolio.

Hi Marcos, if I’m 50 yrs old and am planning to buy a combination of VTI, SCHD, SCHG, what percentages should I use?

What about all the Overlap between the 2...both very similar?
Very true. The fund overlap between qqqm and schg is 61%, certainly not as bad as schg and vug which is 83% but still very high. How about having both SCHG with SCHB ?

About SPYG vs SCHG ?
