Solid, those are my core positions ( VOO, SCHG and SCHD) added qqqm as well for more nas100 exposure. I’m older so I tilt more % toward dividends with SCHD, JEPI and JEPQ because I like the extra income. Depending on your age you may not need that tilt towards dividends. Just DCA, tune out the noise and watch it grow.
Not necessarily though there is a fair amount of overlap but that’s not necessarily a negative. Type-shit scenario; I’ve tried investing in various things that didn't work out as I hoped. Now, I'm looking at ETFs as a more reliable option. What are the best 5 ETFs for a rookie looking to invest a lump sum? let's say 180 grand?
JEPQ is my favorite so far. It pays monthly with over a 9% yield and also has stayed fairly level. The down side is that it was incepted in 2022 which means there is not a lot of history. I also like FEPI and SPYT.
An ETF with more risk and payout is QDTE. It pays weekly but is higher risk because it just came out this year. The fund is based on covered calls which make money in any market, up or down.
Solid positions there! I regularly buy more shares, but I also invest in growth stocks/ETFs. Right now, I focus on growth, but I plan to switch to dividend-paying value stocks/ETFs eventually. It’s advisable to engage guidance for a well-diversified portfolio instead of relying solely on speculations. That’s what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.

I’ve heard a lot of investors are moving in that direction, especially with the market getting so unpredictable. Picking one high quality ETF can give you broad exposure without having to stress over individual stock picks
Yeah, with an ETF, you’re spreading out your risk across a wide range of companies. Plus, a lot of them have low fees and good dividend yields. It’s kind of like setting it and forgetting it while still capturing market growth
I’ve been thinking about the same thing for 2025. The right Etf could cover a mix of sectors, or even go global, which would make it easier to manage over the long term. It’s all about finding that one Etf that aligns with your goals
That’s the challenge, though, figuring out which one to go with. Do you go for something like an S&P 500 Etf, or maybe something more niche like tech or clean energy? There are so many options
True, and each has its pros and cons. The S&P 500 is a classic, but then you miss out on some of the high-growth potential in emerging industries. At the same time, going too niche can add extra risk. It’s a balancing act, and it’s tough to know which one will give you the best long term returns
That’s where a financial advisor or a Cfa could really come in handy. They can help you assess which Etf aligns with your financial goals, risk tolerance, and timeline. It’s not just about picking any ETF, it’s about picking the one that fits your strategy for the long haul.

You can actually use covered call dividend etfs in place of bonds. ETFs like JEPI and JEPQ, which are out of the money covered call etfs, so they can still grow in value while decreasing downside risk while paying a dividend. These ETFs are best used in Roth IRAs because the dividends are not qualified and would be taxed as ordinary income.

VTI is the most diversified for market swings and not too concentrated in just tech. VTI's overall return is about the same as VOO but has a chance to beat the S&P 500 because it also has small and medium cap companies as well. It also includes the S&P 500 within the fund.

ETFs like JEPI and JEPQ, which are out of the money covered call etfs, so they can still grow in value while decreasing downside risk while paying a dividend. These ETFs are best used in Roth IRAs because the dividends are not qualified and would be taxed as ordinary income.
I’m thinking of opening a position in me and my wife’s Roth 35%JEPQ 35% SPYI 30% ymax and reinvest weekly ymax payout the same percentage breakdown and have JEPQ and SPYI on drip .

I'm celebrating a $30k stock portfolio today. started this journey with 6k. I have invested on time and also with the right terms now I have time for my family and the life ahead of me

Dividend investing is always my thing! I'm building wealth with a buy-and-hold strategy in my Roth account, featuring rockstars like Berkshire B stock, SCHD, and S&P 500 and total market ETFs. My taxable account is also getting in on the action, generating regular income through dividend-paying stocks. It's a winning combo that's helping me achieve my financial dreams!
Your strategy is a perfect example of a solid plan! Combining dividend stocks with a buy-and-hold approach sets you up for success.it's clear you've done your research. Yet, I still think consulting with expert advisors can take your success to the next level. They can offer valuable insights, help you mitigate risks, and optimize your strategy for even greater returns.
I agree, though some doubt financial advisors. Mine has delivered, growing my portfolio by over $1 million for the past decade through savvy diversification. Financial security is my goal, and I'm pleased with my results.
I’ve been looking to switch to an advisor for a while now. Any help pointing me to who your advisor is?
Absolutely, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Brenda Davies Clarke” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.

I've got £100k to invest. I want to build a nest egg for when I'm older. I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month. Which ETF would you recommend?
As they say, time IN the market is better than trying to time the market. I think you should seek advice from a licensed financial advisor. They’ll give you guide on high risk and low risk investment strategies for your portfolio
Accurate asset allocation is crucial with an Experts guidance. I have 850k in equity, 275 cash earning 5.25 interest, 685k in 401k, 120k cash account, 80k in car assets ( paid off cars) Gold and silver bars. age is 48. My advisor helped me realign my portfolio to my risk tolerance and it boomed shortly.
How do I reach out to a financial advisor, my portfolio has been struggling since 2023 and I’ve been holding on by the skin of my teeth.

Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
VTI is the most diversified for market swings and not too concentrated in just tech. VTI's overall return is about the same as VOO but has a chance to beat the S&P 500 because it also has small and medium cap companies as well. It also includes the S&P 500 within the fund.

I like some individual stocks top..one dividend stock cost 7.00 a share and pays 1.00 a yr..RC stock symbol..it's amazing for 500 × 7 = 3500 your yearly dividend is 500 dollars..now I reinvest and you are really getting compounding magic.
Thank you so much for these videos! You are definitely an inspiration! I started investing every Friday $50 each on VOO, SCHD, & QQQM. Now, I am debating if I should invest some of my spare discretionary income into VOO or JEPQ. Looks like VOO might be a better shot due to the long term potential! Ur thoughts?
100% VOO since covered call ETFs aren’t meant for the best long term potential. 💪🏼
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
Hi. I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second child. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks

Question: 1. You would still choose VOO over VOOG?? although VOOG outperformed and had higher returns than VOO, even VOOG had a higher expense ratio..you're still making more money with VOOG. Just curious because I'm debating whether to park all my traditional IRA funds into VOO or VOOG. I'm leaning towards VOOG, the risk is higher but the returns are higher. I'm 52 years old by the way. Thanks for your input.
I choose SPTM, which is S&P1500 indexETF, consists S&P500, S&P mid cap 400 and S&P small cap 600; but liquidity is a problem😁

QQQM is essentially the same as QQQ, no? Not really growth. Just NASDAQ 100.
Correct. Both track the same index, Nasdaq-100. only thing is QQQM has a lower expense ratio of 0.15% compared to the more expensive QQQ of 0.20%
@@Marcos_Milla I thought you put QQQ in diversified and QQM in growth categories? Either way, I don't understand why Invesco has two nearly identical funds with slightly different expense ratios.
The only reason to buy QQQ at the higher ratio is for the option chains available. If you don't need them, buy QQQM and call it a day.
