Dividend investing is totally my thing! I’m growing wealth using a buy-and-hold strategy in my Roth account with all-stars like Berkshire B shares, SCHD, and S&P 500 as well as total market ETFs. My taxable account is also in the game, generating steady income from dividend-paying stocks. It’s a powerful combo that’s helping me work toward my financial goals!
That’s an outstanding strategy! Pairing dividend stocks with a long-term, buy-and-hold approach is a recipe for success. It’s clear you’ve put a lot of thought into your plan. Even so, I believe working with a professional advisor could elevate your results. They can provide additional insights, help you manage risks, and fine-tune your approach for even better outcomes.
I agree, although some people are skeptical about financial advisors. My experience has been great-my advisor has helped me grow my portfolio by over $1 million over the past decade through smart diversification. My focus is financial security, and I’m thrilled with the progress I’ve made.
That’s incredible! Would you mind if I checked out your advisor? Right now, I’m only investing in my employer-sponsored 401(k), but I’m eager to explore other options to prepare for my retirement.
I completely understand your curiosity. When I started out, I explored freelance financial experts online, and that might be a good place for you to begin. Personally, I work with Grace Lorraine Austin, who is highly respected in the financial world. Her deep understanding of portfolio diversification makes her an authority in the field.
Thanks for sharing! I did a quick search for her full name and found her website right away. After going through her credentials and doing some research, I decided to get in touch with her.
SCHD is a solid choice for dividend investors, especially in uncertain markets. With its consistent dividend growth and solid track record, it feels like a reliable long-term hold. I’m focusing on ETFs like SCHD to balance growth with stability, especially as we navigate the impacts of rising interest rates.
I agree. Even with great opportunities, we should proceed cautiously. Seeking market analysis or advice from certified market strategists is important.
Absolutely, having a solid plan is crucial. My portfolio has doubled since early last year. My financial advisor and I are working towards a seven-figure goal, though it might take until Q3 2024.
My CFA, ‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy’’ is a renowned figure in her field. I recommend researching her name online; you’ll find all her credentials and everything you need to work with a reliable professional. With many years of experience, she is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.

I reached $138k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and insights you've shared with me over the past few months. I began this journey in October 2024. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. thanks to Wendy Stewart for helping me achieve this
I've always been fascinated by investing, but when I tried stock investing early this year, it hasn't been as successful as I expected. However, I keep seeing good news about the stock market. What are the best strategies for less risk and more gains?
As a stock market investor i believe investing can lead to financial freedom by growing your wealth over time. Also having an investment advisor is key in this journey, offering expert guidance and tailored strategies to help you navigate the market and achieve your financial goals. Hoping to diversify more in 2025
The truth is, the role of an investment advisor can often be overlooked but should never be underestimated. After facing a significant portfolio loss in 2020 during the COVID pandemic while trying to manage my investments on my own, I decided to reach out to an investment advisor. At that time, I had about $126K left in my portfolio. Now, without having to lift a finger, I'm semi-retired, working only 7.5 hours a week, and I'm just 15% short of my $1 million retirement goal thanks to my subsequent investments.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ve been managing my portfolio myself, but it’s not working out. Do you have any recommendations for a good investment advisor? I could really use some help.
My CFA, Judith B. Richards, is a renowned figure in her field. I recommend researching her name online; you’ll find all her credentials and everything you need to work with a reliable professional. With many years of experience, she is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.
I just looked up her website on google and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I have sent her an email hope she gets back to me soon. Thank you so much

I've been seeing a lot of people talk about stocks with growth potential, but honestly, it's been tough for me to make those picks. If you have any recommendations, I would really appreciate it!
I think the safest strategy is to diversify investments. But if you need proper advice, consider speaking with a financial expertise. Don't get me wrong, you can do it on your own, but financial advisors have a lot more knowledge and expertise in this area.
True.. with the help of an investment advisor, I was able to diversify my $150K portfolio across multiple markets, and in just a few months, I was able to earn over $460K in net profit from high dividend yielding stocks, ETFs, and bonds
I'm cautious about giving specific recommendations since this is an online forum and everyone situation is unique, but I've worked with Laurel Ann Watkins for years and highly recommend her. Look her up to see if she meets your criteria.
I know the stock market isn't a get-rich-quick scheme, but it's a reliable way to build wealth. I've saved $100k and want to invest it safely for organic growth, but I'm unsure how to proceed.
I believe every Investor should start with ETFs for a solid foundation, then diversify across asset classes and maintain disciplined, regular investing to minimize risks and maximize growth.
Such uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my judgement on a ''heresay'' 2020 had me holding trash stocks, but thankfully revamp my portfolio through the aid of a pro before seeing significant gains. To date, I've scaled up nearly 320% ROI. it's been 4 years and counting. I and my advisor are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal and we're not far.
Lets see: need to first have money to start working. So lets see: what is starting investment amount? Lets see: what is target goal? •dividend income? •retire early? •buy house? •go on vacation? •etc? (Starting plan.)

Investing long-term in ETFs and high-dividend stocks is a straightforward way to build generational wealth. Notably, over 80% of billionaires are stock investors, expanding their billion-dollar portfolios. The rich do what the poor fear!

Biggest positions PLTR, TSLA, SCHD, VOO, and now looking to build up DRGO alongside finding quality value/growth stocks to buy. I got $48k divs last year in taxable divs. Q3 taxable divs this year was $18,388 this year. Don't sell when the market is down. Yikes... that is actually a horrible return. This is why I don't fancy channels that don't teach the truth of what a dividend actually is and thag doesn't explain it compared to the market as a whole. Let me explain why that return rate is horrible. Your return rate for 5 YEARS was only 15.81%. The market returned 85.89% over that same time period. What that means is your down 5.5x market average. So instead of that 5600 you mentioned you'd have made $30,800 by instead investing in the market index like the S&P 500 which has pretty much always beat out dividends funds over the long haul and again is evident here. A dividend isn't some special gift. It comes out of your share price. It doesn't even determine if you have a good business or not. If you're young especially focusing on dividends instead of overall returns is how you end up in situations like just mentioned where you missed out on ~25 grand. He's selling retirement while simultaneously making it take longer for you to retire in the first place. Focus on returns instead and go get and index like the S&P 500 as a larger chunk of your portfolio instead of the 5x+ weaker funds like jepi.
Depends on how much money you’d need right. (Short answer yes, but not as much money as say a growth etf for example). I’d say to multiply the dividend yield by the initial investment or average investment which will get the annual income and divide by 12 to get your projected monthly income. Dividend calculators on Google will be more accurate considering things like dividend growth, share prices, etc
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Charlotte Miller.
