Both my Z's did this, my 13 touring sport and my 17 Nismo. The kawasaki castle nut fixed both of them!

Great vid. Did you just get one washer per pack? Torqen want £8 per pack and if I need six this is gonna stack up!

I did the same exact thing but the clicking came back. I'm guessing mine is more severe than others. The recommendation for that is to remove the rear dry shaft and turn it Is 180゚and reinstall.

Can you use a 4th washer? Or would that affect the safety and integrity of the axle/hub?

Surely you can just spin the worn retaining cap to a non worn tab and re grease, tighten and new pin

On a Nissan S15? It's likely to be your driveshaft joints or (hopefully not) the diff.

Hi, did you happen to sell this car? Bought mine coming up to a year ago and has almost the same modifications except for the cold air intake and oil catch can. Mine has those custom sequential drls also. REG: BN67 KNO

My 09 370z is making a very loud clunking and chirping sound from the rear when transfering from accelerating and decelerating, i got the drive shaft inspected and its fine. I also just installed a Z1 LSD about 1,000 miles before the sound started. Anyone have any ideas?

Could be the rear diff bushings, search for common problems for 370z, most list this as an issue.

This is extremely common on the Leafs, the TSB from Nissan is for basically everything that used this design from Leaf, Sentra, Versa, 370z, and a bunch of other cars. It seems to be a torque related issue as the leafs were a leading indicator for the fleet. You're also supposed to grease the axle mating surface per the TSB.
