In this video I will show you how to make the passenger window come up automatically, just like the driver side window does. Please note this is only applicable to the UK spec 370z's. As far as I am aware the US versions already do this, so there is no need. However, if your car doesn't do this already, feel free to give it a go. Tools needed: - 10mm wrench - for the battery terminal - Plastic ...

I missed it, what is the purpose of this video?
Where did you get the braided lines with the red aluminum ends on the catch cans from?
Hi, did you happen to sell this car? Bought mine coming up to a year ago and has almost the same modifications except for the cold air intake and oil catch can. Mine has those custom sequential drls also. REG: BN67 KNO
what's the point of a torque wrench if u are over torqueing it
My 09 370z is making a very loud clunking and chirping sound from the rear when transfering from accelerating and decelerating, i got the drive shaft inspected and its fine. I also just installed a Z1 LSD about 1,000 miles before the sound started. Anyone have any ideas?
Could be the rear diff bushings, search for common problems for 370z, most list this as an issue.
@@twoswords4318 it has new bushings, it turned out to be the axles, thanks for your help tho
well done
I have a s15 with the exact same noise , it this the case or is it the whole axle ?
On a Nissan S15? It's likely to be your driveshaft joints or (hopefully not) the diff.
Great vid bought my parts the other day and of to tackle it now on the drive 🤞🏻
That's obviously not the proper oil drain plug Crush washer, it's going to leak continuously. Period
Can you use a 4th washer? Or would that affect the safety and integrity of the axle/hub?
if needed to line up cotter pin hole yes.
Surely you can just spin the worn retaining cap to a non worn tab and re grease, tighten and new pin
Thanks for that, just done it to my 370z and works perfectly 👍
Don't need to remove any of that 30 min or less Motul oil 5w40 K^N oil filter Drain and fill No jack stands Easy
Great vid. Did you just get one washer per pack? Torqen want £8 per pack and if I need six this is gonna stack up!
Do you have a link for Kawaski nut and washers?
In the description mate
Thank you this video was very helpful brother great job
I hear the clicking noise when I hit 10mph after that I don’t, is it bad if I drive for hours on the freeways like these ?
it should be fine i drove mine the other day but its just a bolt it wont fall off or anything
I did the same exact thing but the clicking came back. I'm guessing mine is more severe than others. The recommendation for that is to remove the rear dry shaft and turn it Is 180゚and reinstall.
ever find a fix, mine did the same thing
@@butertoast4 I didn't, sorry
GREASE THE SPLINES. ffs
@@TheGuruStud did that it came back a few weeks later like I said I believe my condition is more severe
Mine does a click noise but not sure which one it is. It kinda happens when I’m at 3k rpm and let off
Idk about in the uk but in the us the Nissan dealership covered it and didn’t need to pay anything and my Z was out of warranty
Do you have to bring anything to the dealership or this is like a recall? Mine just started to make this annoying noise 🤣
Both my Z's did this, my 13 touring sport and my 17 Nismo. The kawasaki castle nut fixed both of them!
Good video to the point and no annoying music.
I’ve owned my Nissan 370Z for over 12 years and I never experienced this issue. He must drive his Z hard.
Didn't really drive mine hard and it did this.
Same here it’s more of an inconsistency thing, mine just hit 93k guy before me drove it a little hard here and there but it just breaks eventually
Yeah i don’t drive my z hard i just sometimes drifted
This is extremely common on the Leafs, the TSB from Nissan is for basically everything that used this design from Leaf, Sentra, Versa, 370z, and a bunch of other cars. It seems to be a torque related issue as the leafs were a leading indicator for the fleet. You're also supposed to grease the axle mating surface per the TSB.
I’m on my third Z and they’ve all needed this treatment. Not hard driving, just crap roads in uk.
Same noise my mustang makes it does it when I give it torque
Oil catch can? is it worth it? im looking for options for my overheating nismo
The catch can isn't going to help with the overheating, but there are good options out there for extra oil coolers for the 370z. Not sure how much of a difference the catch cans actually make but they look pretty cool!
Good video but the US models are wired differently. A little more complex but possible
Was really stuck with this one. Cheers mate appreciate it
thanks mate, huge help 👍
Glad it helped
You must always use the correct crimping tool and more so the yellow seal should also be crimped onto the pin.
Those drls are amazing 😍 would definitely love a set!
If you would like a set I can always make some more and ship them, depending on where you live. It does require a bit of set up and splicing into different wires depending on what functionality you would want, but its doable :)
What are the led that you used to replace them?
I used some LED's from corso motion they were these: corsomotion.com/collections/custom-build-series/products/custom-made-board-7x6-4p-bi-color-plain-ver-600x600mil They do require a bit of soldering but if you have the EVO R Drl's already, they do fit inside the existing LED housing. You'll probably want to use some sort of epoxy to keep them water tight
I love the v2 nismo front bumper. I just subscribed to see what else you do. would you mind checking out my 370z nismo channel?
