      There are two kinds of protein shakes. The isolated ones and non isolated one. Isolated ones have no carbs but non isolated have some carbs. Isolated ones are used when one has shred the body fat and tone his muscles and non isolated are used in gaining overall mass.
      The protein shake in the video seems good plus the fat in the dry fruits is a good fat which helps in weight loss. However, if want to shred your fat, you can try to consume less carbs in some other meals to balance out your carb requirements.

    For those of you asking how is this for weight loss. Small amount of nuts in a diet help to keep you full longer. Also, oats help you stay full longer too and oats are used for weight loss alot. Weight loss is about eating balanced healthy meals but taking in less calories and if you are taking in less calories your body still needs about the same vitamins and minerals it was getting before. So for that you need highly nutritious but smaller meals.

      Yeah, seems more along the lines of a gainer. With milk, it has got to be 600-700 calories per serving. Plus, it has fricking cashews in it. Cashews. The one nut to avoid during weight loss. Still, it's a great gainer.

      Please note good fats from nuts are never harmful for weight loss....all depends upon your calorific deficit...simple rule is 1:1.5 carbs to protein ratio along with 54gms of fat intake daily in form of nuts, paneer, peanut Butter.
      Your calorific deficit = daily calorific need based on your weight - 500 to 1000 calories

    • @akshatsharma8787
      @akshatsharma8787 3 года назад +30

      @@Kallem5598 too much of anything is harmful. You can literally lose weight by eating mc D every day if you stay in deficit. You can Balance any kind of food. But the nuts mix in this video is best utilised for gaining. It's not efficient for weight loss. Even if they're healthy, there's a daily limit to these fats. If you eat this, along with milk, you complete most of that in just one shake. Not to mention the heafty 600-800 Calories you get. After this it becomes very hard to plan pre and post workout meals, and it cannot be used for that purpose as they both require carbs and quick absorbing proteins, while this may take as much as 2 hrs to be properly digested and absorbed, and does not even provide a burst of energy. That's why it's not useful in weight loss. Although if your goal is weight gain or bulking, it would do wonders if you take it just before sleep.

    • @Kallem5598
      @Kallem5598 3 года назад +7

      @@akshatsharma8787 agree with you that this cannot be a post workout shake (which requires a easily absorbing protein) but may be a good dinner or post dinner meal ( due to slow digesting good fats)...again weight reduction can be done with fasting or as you suggested but shredding fat is something different than shreffing weight.

    A protien drink cannot make you gain weight unless you drink it in excess without working out. Also depends on what liquid you decide to mix it into. ANY kind of protien powder whether made from nuts, whey, Soy, etc. they all have calories. To me, this nut powder that she made is safer and healthier than store bought powders because it doesn't have all the preservatives and mystery ingredients.
    However, nuts aren't really high in protien. You gotta eat a lot of them. But they ARE good for you. What she could've did was soak them overnight in water and sea salt, and then dehydrate them. Water and salt draws out the impurities in nuts. Toasting or roasting them kills a lot of the nutrients. She would've done better by not toasting them at all.

But my doctor suggested me to take protein powder as i was operated recently for appendix but now i don't think so i need to take this because i already take more proteins in my every day life. So willl take the protein powder on the day whenever I m out or hurry in that way i can get the required protein keep the tummy full at the same time loose the weight.

      Soyabean, kidney bean,Fish, chicken you can add these foods items in your meal.. and reduce your sugar and salt intake..
      Reduce your carb intake as well
      Like eat bread which made up of
      (Raagi, barley,millet) and just bring these flours at home and prepare it by yourself
      and avoid all purpose flour and wheat flour.
      And you can drink diluted add apple cider vinegar. It will help u to reduce fat
      And you can eat low fat curd as well as low fat cottage cheese and add lots of green leafy veggies in your diet too..
      And just prepare any food item out of all these.😊
      I hope somewhere it will help you.

    As a weight management practitioner I wouldn't agree with this drink and I believe is misleading.
    Nuts are healthy, but limit portions to prevent calorie overload. A heaping handful might contain up to 10% of the daily caloric needs for a medium-sized man.
    To muscle up or lean down, you are looking at way different ingredients and definitely not nuts only.
