I watched Jamie’s video and have been a long time viewer on their YT channels. There's a lot of context missing in Jamie's story, things he has mentioned in a legal perspective in regard to their parenting being 50/50 and divorce settlement regarding their assets didn't make sense to me. (I can say this because I have background knowledge in the Australian legal system when it comes to parenting and divorce settlement arrangements and schooling system) The video may have been taken down because it could have been put in a court order that either party is not allowed to publish any details of each other online especially without the other party’s knowledge and because it involves the children. It is also not admissible in court as evidence as it is illegal in Australia to post online without their consent at the time of recording especially with his phone recordings. Under Australian law when it comes to divorce settlement, parties are obligated to make negotiations on parenting and settlement on assets within 12 months after their divorce is finalised, if no agreement is reached within the first 12 months, then all parenting and assets gets decided by the courts and neither party would have a say. Whatever is decided by a judge is always made in the best interest of the children.
In no way do I condone abusive behaviour, No one should ever be abused in all forms, whether it be physically, mentally, emotionally or financially. I truly hope both Jamie and Nikki are seeking therapy and healing, I see 2 broken people dealing with unpacked traumas and seem like the issues they've experienced in their broken marriage are different from each other. I hope they both get through this for the sake of their children as they are the main victims in all of this.
1. He mentions that they both have the children shared 50/50. In most cases, Child Support in Australia would be determined by combining both taxable incomes and work out what the average is each parent has to pay to provide for the children. If one parent earns more than the other parent, then they are obligated to pay extra to the nominated primary parent. By what Jamie says, if he has to pay child support then that means he would be the higher earner than Nikki and/or he has to also pay Nikki spousal support, if that’s what Nikki has claimed in the divorce settlement
2. He claims that Nikki had enrolled Ava in kinder and he had no way of knowing where she was enrolled and therefore was unable to see her through her schooling at kinder. In the Australian schooling system, the enrolments would have contact details of both parents where they are obligated to provide information of the child to both parents, especially if the parents are separated, most schools have online apps that allow parents to see their Childs progress and messages from their teachers and notices of events that would occur. Jamie would've have known this if he had paid attention to his parenting order or could have easily requested for the imformation through his lawyer.
3. He claims Nikki did everything in her power to take his car through the settlement, the lawyers would've discussed what the percentage each part got through the settlement. This would be based on who brought in the most income and who paid for what throughout their marriage. There would've been lengthy negotiations back and forth in who gets what before coming to an agreement . Jamie could have easily negotiated other assets including his super annuation/ retirement funds which would've been worth hundreds of thousand dollars, in exchange for the car, but he was not forced to give it, he agreed to let it go.
4. With their house, I think Jamie was the one who chose the area because it was closer to his parents and Nikki compromised as long as she got to choose the house. He said after they seperated, she moved 2 hours away, making it difficult for him and having to travel long distances to see their children. Nikki moved because it is where all her family support lives, she had no family or close friends support other than Jamie and his parents and his friends when they were married. A lot of people are saying she moved to spite him, I find this to be untrue.
He claims he was left with their house he never wanted and left paying for everything, by Australian law, if one party leaves the house they are not obligated to pay for the house repayments, it actually worked in Jamie’s favour as it would have shown he paid more of the mortgage than Nikkie and he would've been able to keep that in the settlement. If he was unable to keep it and had to sell it, then they would've got 50/50 of whatever profit was left after the sale, which is what he did. He was not forced to sell, they both agreed to sell if both their names were on the house title.
5. The recorded phone call about Jamie wanting the children to be picked up at a Police station and Nikki is heard going off swearing at him and sounding aggressive. There are other recommended drop off points such as libraries, shopping centres where there are security guards and cameras on. They both could have a support person in making the pick up arrangements. The police would've added to the children’s traumatic experience and unnecessary of Jamie to request which is what Nikki is heard saying over the phone. Parenting arrangements of pick up/drop off must be agreed by both parents if there is a court order in place, Nikki’s reaction to this is 100% valid
6. Jamie claims Nikki cheated on him, he doesn't clarify how she cheated on him e.g physically emotionally . Cheating can differ from each person as to what they would consider as cheating. He claims she messaged him through FB and saw messages that she was still in contact with him. He then records her on several occasions and then starts making leading statements of her alleged cheating, it sounded like he was baiting her for a confession, which she did not confirm yes or no. He then brings this up in front of his mum and Nikki’s family member of her alleged infidelity. This is baffling as to why he even had to mention that to them, this should've been a private matter between him and Nikki. He does not provide any evidence of her cheating other than what he says and knows how reactive Nikki gets when he keeps pressing her on about it.
7. The restraining order Jamie has against Nikki. It would've been granted automatically if Jamie had provided video evidence to police of it happening because it happened in front of their children. If police were called or involved, they would ask Jamie if he is willing to press charges for assault, Nikki would've then had to go to court and if found guilty would either pay a fine, be ordered to do anger management course or community service. Also, if there is still a valid restraining order against Nikki, one of the clauses is the offending person is not allowed to mention or publish anything about the protected person. If it is breached then Nikki would have to face court, in Nikki’s past videos she only mentions Jamie as her ex-husband, if she mentioned his name he could've reported her for breach of restraining order. I don't believe there is still an order against Nikki as they only last for 6-12 months. It would only be extended if Nikki had breached the current order and Jamie is able to prove it by reporting to police. By Jamie posting his video up is disturbing knowing that this was put in the restraining order, this seems to be very calculating and baiting for a reaction, this is also contradictory if he claims he fears for his safety when it comes to Nikki.
8. Jamie claims he can no longer get work and can only do Uber due to having the children and living far from the city. Jamie used to do film and photography for weddings and night clubs. This would still be achievable for him to do on the week he doesn't have the children. The money involved based on his years in the profession would be lucrative and weddings alone would cost a couple thousand dollars in Melbourne. There are millions of single parents who are able to do it alone and not make excuses to provide for their children. There is a loophole in Australia when it comes to child support where a party can choose to not work or work the bare minimum in order not to pay child support as it is based on their taxable income. I really hope this is not the reason why Jamie is saying he can’t work.
These are just my thoughts as a long time viewer and supporter of both of them. The video was painful to watch especially because of their children. I think this was disappointing of Jamie to post about Nikki and not think of how this would affect their daughters. Melbourne is a very small place and every second person here would know who they are. It's been 4 years since they split up, I hope that Nikki has found therapy in her anger and abusive behaviour. By putting this out there for the world to see would be disruptive to Nikki’s healing journey, it's just as bad as giving drugs to an addict who has been working on being sober. Jamie I hope you are able to move on and also heal from your trauma for the sake of your children.
Sum it up Nikki is bat shyt CRAZEE and an Abuser. I knew something was up when they first came on. I've watched from them being too. Praying they all get the help to xo parent healthy.
Wow, Jamie keeps his mouth closed he's maligned. He shares part of his experiences during his marriage he's still maligned. There's no way that he can share every second of his divorce or his marriage without having filmed 24/7 or made an extremely long vlog. Seems that might be the only way he would be believed even a little. Jamie said that he and Nikki agreed. He didn't say it was court ordered. Also if he's restricted from making or posting family content on his channel that includes the girls his monies will be affected. He's stated many times that he makes more on RUclips and through sponsorships than he would at a regular 9-5. He stopped his pursuit of photography and video shoots because it was very time consuming, competitive and Nikki didn't like it or the traveling/late nights he would have to work. I'm not sure if this is the type of work you can do week on/ week off and be successful.
Jamie also has said he only chose the police station as a hand off to prevent conflicts between the two of them. If Nikki didn't get pussed or throw hands, he'd be more likely to choose a different handoff.
And he's said that in the beginning, he gave her what she wanted to avoid conflicts but eventually he couldn't anymore and felt he had to stand up for himself.
Nikki belittling him is very problematic for me as is the glossing over or ignoring it. She obviously has no problem going there with him, which is something she likely does on the regular. Shad no problem poking her finger in Grandma Perkin's face or hitting Jamie in front of other people. She seemed comfortable doing it like it happens often. Then, she blames him. Let's not talk about this but discuss everything problematic about Jamie.
If Nikki can get the benefit of the doubt just by implying things about Jamie. Why can't Jamie also be given the same courtesy. Each is going to tell their side so they look the most favorable.

Fumi, he's trying not to pay her. Yet he's trying to find reasons not to spend time with his kids. Makes me feel like he is the most active cheater. He has that passive aggressive attitude that would set any woman of color over the edge. I know, because my ex would take that tone and try to make me feel unreasonable when he was deliberately ignoring what I was saying calmly. About 2 years in, I realized that getting angry got better responses from him than loving kindness did. Then by the 3rd year, I hated who I was with him, so I went back to loving-kindness. I could ask that man if he wanted sugar in his tea and he'd say I was talking to him aggressively. So I said nothing. Then he started saying I stopped talking to him. So I talked to him even when he cheated repeatedly. And to get out of child support, he launched a divorce when I got pregnant again and said the child isn't his. At this point, I was so tired that I completely erased him from our lives. My older child still prays for him and I say nothing. But I was alone in my marriage and parenting for years before the marriage actually ended.
Long and short... there's more to the issue. She knows that he doesn't care about being with the kids or supporting them. She feels abandoned by him and has no respect for him anymore. On top of your crushed dreams of a happy life is your crushed hope that this person whom you loved would always be a great parent, even if your love ended. I side with her, because in many ways, I've been her.

There's something called reactive abuse. Narcisissts will abuse you, cheat on you and do horrible things purposely to set you off, and then when you react and snap back, they calm down and play nice so that you look crazy. They'll even record you to show the public. "Look how angry and abusive he/ she is" "Look what I'm going through" I don't know if that's the case in this situation but I'm going to hold off my judgement until I hear Nikki's side of the story.

If you have dealt with narcissists and they want to set you off they wpuld get you all riled up constantly and intently in a very short amount of time. Being in your face and all while being verbally and emotionally abusive. It will take the almighty God to hold you back from responding. I will never judge a marriage and the partners. In all this, yes, l get the two sides of the story . Yes, people lose it , but as long as l heard 4 incidents of domestic violence and Nikki co-signed those allegations, that is a whole new narrative. First with an apology about beating Jamie, the other with a yes ,( Nikki says yes FIRST in response to Jamie's statement " You are the violent one " before she added but you're the one with depression whatever . The fact that in 2018 Jamie was in court for a protection order against Nikki whilst still married, and he was recognised by a fan in court , fanned off the rumours yet Nikki co signed rumours that Jamie was the violent one makes me look at women and how we deal with domestic violence against women. If a woman brought these receipts we wouldn't even question them but because a man is bringing them we question them and ask him to man up. As long as there is domestic violence sadly crying children or not safety comes first. If it was Jamie beating Nikki and she asked for the police station as neutral ground we would be telling him what a monster he must be. As a domestic violence survivor we deal with the hitting first . Ideal couple roles don't fit in a toxic situation. Again that's not to say Jamie is a Saint, domestic violence or not .BOTH of them bought into the trophy husband trophy wife dream

I totally agree, and it is bc I had a manipulative spouse as well. Without receipts, no one believes you bc they come across as innocent or as kind, especially to their family members. And, even if you have receipts, they will try to explain them away. Whew. Only those who know...know.
I never did think she treated him nicely even before the wedding and children. She seemed to enjoy his adoration of her, but it wasn’t reciprocated. This, however, is sad to see. It’s a shame you can go from love to hate, especially when it involves the other parent of your children.
I learned during my psychology study that video is evidence, but also the person recording often puts on their best face. Not sure what's going on, but they both need to stop acting out in front of the babies; it is damaging behaviour. This is so sad.
Everything he did was calculated. I believe Nikki suffered from reactive abuse from that man. He provoked her and was ready to record her reaction to his benefit. I find it highly suspect that this man spent an hour and 30 min stating everything Nikki did wrong in their marriage but nothing he did to contribute to the breakdown of their marriage.

Your advice was flawless! I often pray for marriages and wonder if there is someone who will love me even more than my amazing husband did! I disagree. I thought the same thing about Nikki when she hit the camera that it was a setup but the phone call is what sealed the deal for me. He said you are the one that’s violent I’ve never been violent to you and she said yeah. She did not dispute nor did she refute it. So her violence is unacceptable!! Just because she’s a woman and pretty she doesn’t get a pass!!
It takes two to tango. I’m on non of there sides they’re adults. Filming a serious argument is weird behaviour, if Nicki dropped her videos of Jamie being mad tomorrow what then?? This is such a mature perspective.. i went through a breakup with my sons father...and what clicked for me is that i would always...still do...10 years later...think about whats best for our son. My husband and I have been married for 18 years and I've noticed that too many people marry a person's potential and not where and who they are in the present. We established early on never to argue in front of family, friends, and especially our kids (we have 5 together). Marriage is hard work, why, because we are 2 people with 2 different personalities and temprements living together, er' day! But when you have EFECTIVE communication, loyalty, friendship, and understanding, you're able to work through it when you're not sure if love is enough.

That is very true, but I thank God that's not our story. I think it helps that we were best friends for 8 years prior to getting married so there has always been a certain level of loyalty and respect that we've had for one another to have not cheated physically or emotionally. We've hit some sticking points where we felt more like roommates and weren't sure we'd make it. But unlike alot of couples we had a true friendship to fall back on and were able to rebuild.

Jamie started talking to Nikki when she was in high school at 17, he was 24 , her parents did not approve…he had the upper hand and control of which direction they would go as a married couple…Nikki was quite immature when getting with Jamie and she thought he will be the provider as that’s the role the men in her family have always taken while Jamie wanted a 50/50 partnership and being an only child, Co dependent on his parents especially his mum, he wanted at least that ..they had totally mismatched expectations and never seriously sorted them before getting married. There’s talk that Nikki’s dad bought her the house she’s currently living with her girls. She’s paying for the private school their girls are in now. Nikki comes from a wealthy family and she’s well taken care of even without the brand deals . Jamie’s case is the opposite and now he’s pissed because he’s struggling. Wishing them both healing away from the internet,unfortunately it’s their girls that will suffer if they keep this up. I hope once Nikki addresses Jamie’s allegations they can reach some compromise out of the public eye and leave each other alone.

He apologized for all of what he was saying. He didn’t want to give details on her life as a refugee. I felt like it wasn’t his place to tell that story. The legal fees and home renovations played a role in what happened to his financial freedom. It’s a sad situation. You can tell that they both had flaws in the marriage.

When my daughter was in elementary school, we used to watch so many family vlogs on RUclips and Jamie and Nikki's vlogs were so good to me. In fact, my daughter's name is Zoe, so we were so excited when they named their second daughter that.
In terms of the police station for drop-off and pickup, this is common and advised when one parent is volatile and does not act appropriately at other locations. My cousin is a counselor and he would meet his ex-wife at the police station for drop-off and pickup bc of her behavior. Most people will act civil when they are at the police station, and that is why attorneys and even judges in America will suggest it as a drop-off and pick-up spot.
This situation is so sad, and my heart aches for those children. Neither of them should want their children to ride in a car for so long in one day when time is supposed to be spent with a parent. I will put them all in my prayers and I hope that they can put their children first bc the trauma they are creating will damage their psyche and they will have to work so hard to reverse it, cope with it, and overcome it.🥺

One million trillion thousand women were all on there praising him for being “ brave “ for coming out and saying the “ truth” after only having seen his side of the story . After , some of us starting questioning why the recordings were only one sided ?! Comments got disabled.

So glad I’m not the only one questioning this I sure hope people don’t just take his side because people hit record after they’ve done awful things and calmly record the other person reaction. Two sides to every story and the truth. He actions seem very manipulative and performative.
Look I got called a "bish" on another RUclipsrs page because I questioned his narrative I felt like he did this for views and that I wanted to know everything before I made a full opinion or was proven wrong.

Really sadden to see this fiasco! they are the reason I started watching vlogs on RUclips. I have been watching Jamie & Nikki from the day he proposed to her in the park on the big screen. And from that journey onwards Jamie behaves to me like he was still single always out with friend's travel, car racing, going to parties and buying expensive cars etc. the last birthday party Nikki held for Jamie, he left later the night for club you could have seen how disappointed Nikki was from the tone of her voice and her facial expression she couldn't hide it. that day it was clear that things wasn't going good between them. Nikki was always home with the kids so much his mother and father went over to help her because Jamie was not always there. The relationship Jamie has with his children now is not what he had with them before I believe the separation thought Jamie how to be a father, it allowed him to be more responsible. I agree with aunty Fumi Jamie is playing victim role, he needs to take responsibility for what went down. And I think Nikki got fed-up with his selfishness and realizing that Jamie had not changed. Jamie did her wrong in the early part of their relationship that caused them to break up then years after he went back professing that he had changed etc. then they got back together and got married. Jamie is not innocent. And by no means am not supporting violence that was WRONG.I agree Nikki should not respond to his video, that just going to be messier.

Jamie, has been gaslighting Nikki and this whole situation. He’s giving off hurt vibes and wants to punish her, for his downfall… I don’t agree or know if it’s true she had relations with someone else, get the divorce papers and then proceed with your new life… Stop putting everything on camera and filming it. I disagree with some of your points. You put a lot of blame on Jamie about his financial situation. He mentioned that when they were married and bought their first house, he didn't like the house. That was not what he had in mind because it had a lot of work to be done in it, but Nikki wanted it and in his effort to make her happy, they bought it and agreed to fix it together. Not long after, the problems in their marriage escalated, and divorce was certain. Nikki moved out, and he was left with paying for the renovations. He also mentioned that it cost him $160k Australia dollars in divorce proceedings. Showing that a lot of the money he generated from youtube went towards legal procedures and fixing his house. (Making him unable to save). The part were he recorded her been violent was because she had hit him many times before, and she even acknowledged it and apologized in one of his text receipts. Even after he got a camera to record her outburst, she had no right to hit him. This wasn't self defense this was abuse. Women would agree that under no circumstances should a man hit a woman, and they always advise the man to walk away from arguments if he thinks he is about to hit a woman. The same rule should apply to women. Nikki should have walked away, and then Jamie would have had nothing to record or show. Her behavior to hit him in front of his mother, daughter, and her sister is uncalled for.
Ladies, you can't run a man to the ground with cheating, verbal, physical, and emotional abuse and expect him to keep quiet. She pretty much emasculated him to the point that he didn't know who he was anymore. He became a shadow of himself. The complete disrespect, like not informing him about Ava hospitalization until Ava told him herself, the changing of daycare without his knowledge, truly if jamie was your son or brother and he was going through this what would expect him to do? He only spoke because she is still being manipulative and using passive aggression to get back at him. ( i.e, the scheduling of dental appointment for the girls on his birthday, liking and posting shady comments on RUclipsand ibstagram) Where was the outrage for hin when Nikki was villifing him.. hardly any youttuber made a video to encourage him. Every support was thrown behind Nikki. Now he speaks up, every one is saying he should have remained quiet. If he eventually gives up and let her take care of the kids by herself since she is using them against him, yall will be the first to call him a deadbeat father. He has offered to pay for counseling so they can better coparents, but it seems she declined. You all should pray that he doesn't OFF himself if Nikki doesn't stop. And believe me, whatever rebuttal Nikki brings, she is going to expose herself even more.

Absolutely. I agree with you on this. And to be honest I think if Jamie didn't have any proof, he would have had it worse from people. Also, the fact that this woman has been physically abusive to Jamie in front of the kids for years and Jamie never laid a hand on her or reported her to the authorities shows that Jamie had the family's best interest at heart, he even suggested therapy enough times but Nikki wasn't for it. People are forgetting that Jamie could have easily shared all these before their divorce was finalised and Nikki would have had it worse with regard to child custody. I think Nikki needs serious help. She went through a lot as a refugee coming from Sudan during the war to Australia, and she had to take care of her sick sibling while her herself was still a child and the sibling eventually died. She has been through a lot compared to Jamie and I think she needs help, otherwise, her future relationships and her kids will still suffer her anger/violence. And yes, Nikki is a gorgeous woman, but people are forgetting that the reason their RUclips channel got popular was also because Jamie is white (Interacial couples). If Nikki had a RUclips channel and was married to a fellow Sudanese like her, the channel wouldn't be as popular, so they both played a part in the success of their RUclips channel.

Jamie is a calculated narcissistic liar. He is a typical Taurus always plays the victim who doesn’t say what he has done to provoke someone to that state of being. I don’t believe him. He never took accountability on which part he had to play. It was all poor me. He didn’t tell an all rounded story. Something isn’t believable about his story. There needs to be more documentation as to why they target women like us. Nikki was shy never one for social media, she would look cold like I appeared when we would host friends. He would be charming and all smiles but no one knew just before they walked in the abuse I was faced with being called all sorts of names. He’d even say no one would believe me cause I’m a Black woman. So sorry I see what Nikki has done and I believe there is more to that anger. She’s a broken woman whom he broken to pieces in private.

I watched his side of the story, and after seeing and reading the text messages from Nikki, she was very condescending, stating that he did not have any friends, and really focused on his lack, which can lead to someone's mental health being torn down. He looks very sad, the paperwork that was filed for domestic disturbance and abuse etc... I believed Nikki when they first broke up. I believe this man has retained his comments since because he did not want to hurt her brand. He has a right to finally tell his story. It's sad for the children. Seeing how Nikki with her child at her hip, aim to charge at him, while he was filming her being abusive said a lot. If he did not have that footage, we probably would still believe her side of the story.
He mentioned also that if we only knew the total amount of suffering from Nikki he has had to put up with. Nikki must have been terrible!

I’m actually disgusted by the amount of women defending Nikki’s behaviour. There’s a difference between being a “girls girl” and being a hypocrite. Nikki had zero regard for her children when she was cussing and lashing out at Jamie whilst holding her daughter. Let’s not forget, 3-4 years ago, when rumours that Jamie cheated circulated social media, she didn’t come to his defence to protect his image as a father, she let it run knowing it was false. Personally, I could tell that she wasn’t truly into him. Jamie was a safe space for her during a period where she needed emotional support and stability. The moment she could provide that for herself, she lost interest. I think Jamie wanted to use Nikki’s beauty to bring traffic to their channel, whilst he worked behind the scenes doing his preferred work - videography and cinematography work whilst being a proactive stay at home dad, but Nikki wasn’t interested. She agreed to the 50/50 lifestyle but didn’t want to contribute her fair share. I think Jamie is a pansy and has a victim mentality which was off putting to Nikki, and her contempt for him grew and developed into abusive behavior.

My main question is, if Nikki was as violent as he’s saying, the divorce has been finalised, how come she still has active custody of their children? If it was that bad that he took a court order against her, how come she has the kids six days a week? Last he never said he feared for the safety of his children, if I had an abusive husband, I divorce him and he is still given custody of the children I would fight not because I can’t post my children everyday but because I FEAR FOR THEIR SAFETY. Something stinks with his narrative, yes men can be abused but his narrative is all over the place

Jamie has subtly spoke on his relationship many times in his poems and spoken word that he posts on IG. I always gave side eye. He does get his validation from social media. Whoever is in the wrong.. this video was only set to embarrass and humiliate. Oh and if he needs money, here we go.
I remember how picky Nikki was about the kitchen and how impatient she was with her elderly father in law moving slowly as he built it for her. Fumi's video has wise vibes, and I agree Nikki definitely is not the only one at fault, but I'm sorry she DOES have serious character flaws. I don't know anyone who would conduct themselves the way she did with the grandma. No one's "perfect" but there's a line, and she WAYYY crossed it.

Fumi knocked it out of the park with this advice. I watched Jamie and Nikki very occassionally back in the day BEFORE they had the girls, then I saw the video when they separated. I haven't watched or looked up either for many years as it just isn't my kind of content, but nonetheless RUclips still recommended Jamie's new video to me when I am not subscribed nor subscribed to, or watch, any kind of family channel. I watched the first 3 minutes and then switched off. This should not be on the internet, it is all well and good winning in the court of public opinion but the viewers are just being entertained, and once they've gorged on your family pain and trauma they'll go back to the next couple's . Nikki, do not make a response video. I wish them both all the best, especially the children.
I noticed something odd during the argument with Nikki where Jamie was telling her to leave the house. He referred to their child as "the kid". "You've got the kid, leave the house", he didn't call his daughter by her name. It's like he'd removed himself from the situation. This very well could've been a set up or planned as Nikki said 🤔
