Two years ago my son and his partner split. My son wanted me to discontinue my relationship with his ex and I refused. The only side I'm taking is my grandaughter's side, and it's to my grandaughter's benefit that I have a good relationship with her mother. I hope Jamie's mother has a good relationship with Nikki. These girls need as many people as possible in their corner.

That's so nice to hear. I absolutely can not stand the grounds my ex walks on. If left to me, he's doesn't need to exist lol. But I absolutely adore my ex mother in law. Sometimes I wonder why she gave birth to an absolute piece of trash😅 but I can tell you she has fought to ensure me and him get our ish together and parent our children. Am thankful for her because if it was not for her intervention and for her putting the children first, our story would be different. But I am glad that the children now have an amazing relationship with their dad and his wider family.

Jamie has many talents. He said he gets the girls one week and Nikki has them the next. The type of work he is accustomed to isn’t a 9-5 job. Figure it out. Divorced people/Single parents work and take care of their kids all the time. It’s doable.

Seeing the mother in law was so triggering because I've dealt with a situation where the mother has sided with her son, even when he was wrong, to the point of spreading lies about me to make me the bad person. The person that has been affected the most by that is my son, because a situation that was already tough has been made worse by the mother in law.
In such situations parents need to remain neutral, unless one party is dangerous of course. You don't take your child or son/daughter in laws side. You take your grandchildren's side.
That’s why he’s the way he is. There’s a case in NC where the husband cheated & killed his pregnant wife & two small innocent children. The wife had wrote about her mother in laws passive aggression against her & the children. Like giving peanuts to her daughter although she knows she had a deadly allergy

I use to watch every episode. A few months after Ava was born Nikki said “I am so glad that your mom and I are friends”. That lady looks sweet but for whatever reason, she did not like Nikki. She had to win his mother over. Jamie knew what he was doing when had her there and then later she started with those iconic tears. PLZ!

Same here, my ex threatening me severally about killing me to the full knowledge of his mum. But one time I retaliated against the threat he planned with his mum and put it on record and had to use it against me. Thank God the recording got lost. Parents should always be neutral when it comes to their kid's divorce process. I have forgiven my ex but will never forgive his mum for painting me evil despite the love I showed to her.
I live in Melbourne. I can tell you now, the minimum wage here is enough to lead a fairly decent life. I honestly don’t get what he’s crying about.

I personally think Jamie is the aggressor here. He is the victim, he filed for divorce, He is now poor, he wants the luxury life with his cars, he wanted the kids to be dropped off at the police station. He posted the vile video. He wants to use the kids for views. Their mother apparently didn’t want to work so the children have to. 😢 I think he is in the wrong here it’s like everyone has to give him his lifestyle. I hope he gets the help he deserves and hope Nikki can be free from him.
This makes so much sense! He is doing the bare minimum to avoid paying child support as he views it as Nikki has won.
This is why he said out of his own mouth, his mum has had to move in with him and his parents pay his rent. I also remember him saying, his Dad is having to work a lot more. (This is sad for an old man to be working so hard at his age!!)
He has shifted the responsibility onto his parents!! That way he can work the bare minimum and still gets his rent paid, his mum will cook and clean for him.
PARENTS, it is SO SO important that we don’t raise narcissistic children. This starts from young. Be careful about inflating their egos and doing “too much” for them. Raise them to be humble, honest and hard workers.
Jamie’s parents have raised a narcissist and still in their old age are having to pay for his ways. They are literally his “flying monkeys” and he uses them when it feels fit to him. They literally have NO IDEA! Wow! I’m mindblown.

In the vlogs you could see that Jamie's mom and Nikki were the ones taking care of the kids. Everyone else was working hard and Jamie was constantly out.
I have been there. My ex husband didn't want our friends and family to see him as the bad guy so during the last 8 months we were together he would walk past me when we with other people and whisper things like wow you've gained weight or that outfit should have stayed in the store. Then he'd hurry away as it registered and I'd get upset and then he'd tell them - see, she's a light switch. One minute its all fine and like a switch she changes, what can I do. It was years later that a gf ran into him and saw him for who became and she called to apologize to me. He wanted me to be the one to file for divorce so he wouldn't look bad and be found out for cheating.

Nikki knows he was recording too but she didn’t care, she pushed him away with the camera but there’s other recordings where Nikki stated even worse and admitted she was abusing him. If I didn’t hear for sure they were divorced, I could certainly confirm that they both were doing that video for money and views. Mostly the videos where both family members were there seemed to me, it was consent between them to do that to both have money from views and share the money. I still think, it’s a possibility.
Everyone has the propensity to be violent when pushed or provoked. I don't know why some folks are acting like Nikki just be out here slapping everybody. If she is doing that, then he needed to seek fully custody of the kids like yesterday. My ex-boyfriend got these hands after he kept taunting and provoking me after I repeatedly asked him to leave me alone. I just saw red and got to pounding on him. And guess what, he left me alone after that. Did I feel good about it? No, but it happened. We're not perfect. I just hope they both get some healing for the sake of the children.

Sorry but there's no excuse to be physical with anyone unless it's self defense. If you get to that point YOU need to leave. That's never OK to do no matter if you think so or not. The mother said you need to take responsibility; she didn’t say accountability. The mother knew what they did was wrong and that is why she begins to cry. Least the mother stopped him from calling the police right then. Jamie is ready to put himself in the poor house in order to not take care of his kids. In his mind, it will make life hard for Nikki. I knew it was over for them when Nikki threw him an 80s party and he left with his friends instead of being with his wife. He has always given opportunist vibes! Him and his mom are full of it!
That's what I said! That video of him leaving the party after only a few minutes was hard, Nikki was hurt and pissed. But he made his choice, what was important to him. I think he's always been like that.
I feel like he often running off with friends in many episodes but yes the birthday party she planned for him said a lot. The marriage was over.

If a man( especially in the Australian system) tells you he can not earn an income because he has 50% of his children's custody; you've got to question that. Child support is not required when both parents are equally sharing the responsability of raising kids.
Perhalps he doesn't know what to do with his life now because the previous one was very easy and comfortable. Or he is just looking for cheap sympathy.
Same with UK. Child support is based on their income after all expenses. Most times it turns out to be peanuts for the average guy and the woman is better off applying for benefits. I have a friend who was awarded £100 a month child support but the nursery fees alone were nearly £800.

I am a long-time viewer of their channel as well. I remember towards the end of their relationship, Jamie was traveling quite a bit and Nikki was having to stay at home with the children all the time. She was obviously lonely. She looked sad in their last videos together. In my own experience, I have a son and after I left my son’s father, he tried to get custody of our son just to “win”. He didn’t really want our son, he wanted me. He wanted to win. Some people are so weird that way. Anyway, I am happily engaged now and my son is 11 years old. His father has probably spoke to him a handful of times in the past 10 years.

In the Caribbean spousal support is not automatic. The spouse has to request it but their are restrictions to it. The ex-spouse cannot be in a common law relationship. We are divorcing to be free of each other, so why do I want your money to take care of me. Maintenance for the children is automatic but the parents can also make their own arrangements, where that is concerned.

You know Fumi. The recoding was made to show that Nikki is the abuser, the aggressor and he is her victim. His tone is soft and innocent because he knows he is recording her. A true reflection would be to record (which should not have been done) both of them in their element, both not knowing they are being recorded and it would tell a different story.
She knocked the camera out of her personal space and face. He was antagonizing and baiting her to an outburst, as she rightfully said, he got what he wanted. Why was he yelling leave the house? Antagonizing. She took as much as she could. Also he said, that she TRIED to cheat on him. What does that mean? Either she did or she didn’t. Where’s the proof? Jamie for the sake of the kids should never have put such a private unpleasant matter on the internet. That’s disgusting and calculating on his part. Very sneaky too. I understand Nikki’s reaction having been a part of an antagonizing baiting situation where the individual hid their hands and painted me back due to my reaction to their hidden provoking, antagonizing, manipulative words and deeds . I have also been in a similar situation with my ex husband I'm the calmest person but he once baited me to lose my temper spectacularly after years of abuse from him and he still uses this one incident to dine out on and bring up when it suits him. I do not believe Jamie and I'm triggered and saddened by this whole saga.😢 I have watched some of their videos both before and after the divorce and it's just sad all round.
