They were interviewing me for a job last week, I was supposed to have a second interview today. The manager said she had 15 interviews that day. So yeah I’d say they had no warning.

Foxtrot employees should get the lawyer from Signature Room case and this will be an easy win with how the company gave no notice

@@Arclight1988 In chapter 7, which they are for certain to file, the employees are going to be LAST in a long line and going to get nothing. You can't get money where there is none

The company does not have to give notice if they are actively seeking credit or other capital infusion, which they were. the employees don't. They have a case at all. And a greedy lawyer and greedy employees who are going to get 26 weeks of unemployment insurance and who are certain to get jobs in this low employment economy, wont be ahead of secured lenders

DOMs was never going to make it unfortunately.
They had the same exact brands and food as all other local grocery stores but for 25-50% more for some reason.
There were these chocolate peanut butter cups things that were $8.00 at DOM’S. Jewel had them for a little over $3.00

Def a labor law violation. I was at the Foxtrot near the Merchandise Mart a few days ago getting coffee and am shocked this is how both companies handled their closure... then again some execs of the company probably ran off with their millions in payout somehow in all of this.
The employees need to get the lawyer from The Signature Room case.

No it is not. Wash Bus Journal already did a story on how this is not a WARN act case. And no one ran off with the money
