Lack of grocery options? There’s an Aldi, Jewel and CVS near the Wells Dom in walking distance.

Aldi's is cheap nasty ass garbage food, Jewel is jacked up prices on average food and who the flying fuck buys food at CVS other than lazy asses who like to throw their money away on high prices because they cant be bothered to get their prescriptions and food at different locations?!?
Dom's was decent quality and decent prices and THAT is why it was popular.

Never a good thing. But I’ve been in the union trades since 1989. You get your lay check off one hour before your shift ends. And that’s if you’re working for a good outfit. Sometimes you got to hunt your check down.
No choice for these workers other than carrying on and finding another job. You should always have your resume out there , always be looking for a better spot , always be making connections. This will become more frequent and let’s face it. The days of working for one company or even one field are long gone. Corporations are loyal to shareholders not their employees. Treat yourself like a business and always be ready to make the moves that are the best for you.

Does anyone remember though How PLUM MARKET was ousted out of the Old Town location 😢 so that Dom's Market could take over? What about the Treasure Island 🏝 market shop that everyone loved? Maybe Chicago should greatly reduce the rents of the real estate so that Businesses can actually thrive? You'd think by now governmental officials might take the hint that real estate is priced ridiculously high and so are taxes?

it was probably their overspending. CEOs bought like 100,000 a month offices and laid off like 20 engineers afterwards without warning right before Christmas (check out the full story on glassdoor foxtrot). I'm not surprised. The quality and hygiene were not there as someone who worked behind the scene. They are a heartless corporation. I'm glad they got what they deserved, but unfortunately at the cost of many employees. I hope they win their lawsuit! I actually sued Foxtrot and won because they have an unsafe and illegal work conditions.
