Honestly, I think the Star Rail English cast might be the best English cast in gaming. I love the Genshin English work as well but this community engagement is next level. You usually only see this with miHoYo Mandarin casts.
Something about Star rail and its community feels so comfy and Wholesome… the VA’s all being friends and Coming together to sing? It’s heart warming. You just know you wouldn’t get this kinda Community in another fandom.

Holy the amount of symbolism in this cover is insane so I feel obliged to talk about it. So at 0:17 obviously the two protagonists are singing “I want you to show me your fantasy” probably referring to how they learn about firefly,aventurine and Acheron’s past and firefly’s dream. At 0:22 Himeko’s va sing “no past and no future” it’s more ironic then anything since Himeko is one of the characters with a very vague past and the “no future” part is just HI3. So from 0:17 to 0:31 the astral express crew is singing. At 0:34 Sam and firefly singing “I thought that dream could light our way” is clearly corresponding to her past and entire story really. At 0:41 Robin and Misha singing “be my saviour take me away” could not have been a coincidence right? At 0:53 sampo and sparkle singing “a magic show I cannot escape” probably somehow refers to them being a part of the masked fools. And at 0:57 Acheron and aventurine singing “there’s nothing else left for me to do” directly corresponds to their backstory. At 1:33 Jingliu and blade sing “my memories are filled with those blinding lights” like how their immortal and remember their past like so At 1:45 the two bosses aka cocolia sing “I thought that dream could light our way” like how she thought that she could fix everything with the stelleron’s power. And finally at 1:41 where jingliu and Loucha sing “our end filled with dark and mystery” like how we are not aware of where they are and are probably one of the most mysterious characters in the game so far.

Holy shit Corey Landis/Welt singing is crazy good, it's so deep Giving Daman Mills/Blade the "take me away" was a cool touch. I've also always liked his voice in game, so hearing him sing with Jingliu/Amalee (who absolutely killed it) was cool CyYu/Jing Yuan once again went crazy with it Cheryl Texiera/Kafka also had a notable beautiful part, she has the same mysticism while singing Giving Camden Sutkowski/Aventurine the whispering "take me away" also activated my neurons for real Everyone did an amazing job!!! I was waiting for CyYu’s part in this and was thinking he’d be using a low voice (/as Jing Yuan). Was pleasantly surprised and amused that it’d be his voice ‘going to the other side’ of his range 😂.
CyYu (General's VA) was feeling sick back then, when it was recorded, so he had to sing in his higher range :( he was upset by this unfortunate timing.
