Tiffany & Michael, thanks for the awesome videos! My husband and I currently live in a townhome in Lake Mary with my parents living in TV. Dad is 90 and just stopped driving his car due to medical issues. Mom is 88 dealing with memory loss. He and mom currently own a Clubcar golf cart and he wants to purchase a newer model as this will be their sole method of transportation. We saw your video a few weeks ago and I want to bring them to Hidden Creek Golf Cars for a test drive. I have left 3 messages for Hidden Creek over the last two weeks and haven’t received a response. I will be calling and speaking to Ray tomorrow. Jeff is 65 and I’m 57. He works fully remote and I work a hybrid schedule. The goal is to purchase a home in the villages as dealing with an hour drive each way to TV can prove difficult. Thanks again for the great videos around TV!
Hey Tiffany. A suggestion for the charging cords in your way! You should plug them in the backseat charging area and bring the cords through the middle of the front seats for you.
Great suggestion! Will try that out. Thanks!
Or they could try 90 degree charging cables. That should get them out of the way.
Thanks Michael & Tiffany! Very cool golf car. What makes me especially happy is to see companies start to embrace electric vehicles and start adding standard features you would expect... As I understand it, the four forward-facing seats do not make it any longer than a "normal" two-plus-two car. Having the seats in-between the wheels an especially nice touch for comfort and a "car-like" driving experience.
Absolutely! Totally agree. The 4 forward is actually a little shorter than the 2+2 and the ride is very smooth. Thanks!
You guys are living my dream! So happy at how you're thriving and enjoying your best life!
Looks awesome down there! Hope to get there soon to live the dream!
Outstanding video with very detailed explanations on everything which I liked a lot!!! We are adding a separate window screen to our golf cart.
Awesomeness! Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!
Enjoy your channel. Look forward to seeing your adventures.
Awesomeness! Thanks for joining us on this adventure!
That's a really good starting price for that model of golf cart. I was really surprised by that. You really got a lot of bang for your buck with that. I love the seats and the fans are genius!
Absolutely! Great value for the price especially with all the features that they include. We ❤️ the new seats! Thanks!
Great video!!! Love to see both perspectives....For me, I love good cupholders, pockets and a grab bar. My husband likes to hear about how it drives, turn aignals, etc so thanks for showing us both "his & hers" likes/dislikes! 👍👍 I give this video two thumbs up!!
Congratulations with all the updates to your beautiful golf car. Love the seats. Beautiful colors all around. Great storage areas. Enjoy.
Thanks so much! We ❤️ it! Now that we have the new seats and rain gear we will be out and about exploring and sharing more golf cart videos.
You guys are the best at giving us clear, useful and fun information. Beautiful golf car! Wishing you many years of enjoyment with it. Thank you!
Thank you so much! So glad you are enjoying this TV Experience and journey with us. More to come!
Thanks for all the information on the golf cart Michael and Tiffany, and enjoy it because I think it looks awesome!!
Thank you so much! We ❤️ it! So much fun to ride around TV.
Great video/review! Thank you! Where did you get the cup holder inserts?
You both are awesome. Hope to see you two out and about in the Villages someday, would love to say hello.
Thanks so much! That would be awesome! Say hello when you see us out and about.
Michael & Tiffany, you are doing a great job in showing the world what it is like to engage The Villages, FL lifestyle. I'd love to chat about cost of living in TV.
Thanks so much! Glad you are enjoying our content and find it helpful.
Thanks, as always, for sharing your journey and helping those of us still thinking about TV. It sounded like you were going to have a follow-up video, and if you're willing to share more, it would be interesting to know what the add-ons cost, particularly the upgraded battery pack. Having those 100 extra amp-hours really seems to make the difference for the electric carts and should be more range than most people could possibly use in a day. (Same story for full-sized EVs. Most people claim range anxiety as a deterrent, but may never or rarely travel more than the vehicle's range.)
Thanks so much! We will do follow up videos and share more info (price for upgrades, what range we get for 1, 2, 3 and 4 passengers as we drive around TV more, golf cart gadgets, modifications, etc.).
The 205Ah is no longer available (to my knowledge). The 160Ah ($1,500 upgrade cost) should be enough range for most.
We used to have range anxiety before we bought the Tesla and our EV golf cart so we went with the largest batteries we could get at the time for both.
Our real world experience is that we have plenty of range for our daily driving needs (and for long trips). Our batteries very rarely go below 50%. Will share more about real range vs range anxiety in future videos.
Seat swap is $800 per set of seats ($1,600) total. Regular rain enclosure is $800 and the Sunbrella rain enclosure is $1,400.
They offer a lot more add-ons and upgrades and are great (no pressure folks) to work with. Give them a call or use the form on our website to contact them. They will be glad to answer any of your questions or give you a more accurate quote.

Just got back from our LS visit. Had a ball!
Glad you had a great time on your lifestyle visit!
Love the new look!!!
Thanks so much!! 👍😎😎
The location of the USB ports could be moved and the empty holes pluggedor, just have additional ports installed and leave those as secondary. Also I wouldn't like the roof grab handles inside being the same color as the roof, making them harder to see. I also installed some dome lights on my Yamaha, which are touch actvated, they come in handy. Thanks for the tour.
Great tips and suggestions! Just ordered some 90 degree cables and adapters from Amazon to see if that will work first. Will order a dome light too. May put some type of colored grip tape on the grab handles to make them more visible. Thanks!
I'm in love with your golf cart!! We need to get back and start looking at them. I want to start here! I don't think we have room for 4 forward though, will have to see. I'll have to look into the lowered roof too, because we're up by the Savannah center and I believe there are a couple 78" tunnels up by us. I have the tunnel specs doc from districtgov so I'll double check that. And I agree, no black seats in the south! 😊
Thanks! Go take a test ride and bring a tape measure to see if it will fit. Good luck and keep us posted!
Great information. We are actually looking at a Ranger 2+2; not sure if we want the FF seats.
Test drive both of them before you purchase. The 2+2 is actually slightly longer than the 4 forward. Good luck with your decision! Thanks!
Your golf car is awesome. My wife went to MIZZOU and I’m from Iowa so we’ll have a black and gold golf car, when we finally make the move. The price is incredible. I was expecting it to be much more.
Thanks so much! That’s great that you have the same school colors. Can’t beat the price and value for the D5 with all the standard features. Good luck and keep us updated!
Thank you for sharing. Love your videos!!

I Like This Vehicle. Looks Good!
Just a safety precaution, it's advisable NOT to charge these types of devices overnight while you are sleeping. It's very convenient, but could be dangerous.
Very nice, not a bad price for a 4 seater.
Thanks! We ❤️ it! Great value for the cost with all the standard features. So much fun to drive.
FYI - You can buy 90 degree / right angle USB cables. This may help with cord management?
They also make 90° usb adapters, so you can still use your original cables. 👍
Awesome suggestion! Will buy some from Amazon today. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestion! Will buy and try them out.
Where did you get your rain gear? We’ve got the same exact golf cart a few days ago and love it! But would love to add that matching rain guard!! Please let me know if you can where I can purchase. 😊

You two always have such helpful and informative videos! We just took delivery of a D5 and have been calling around for insurance. It has been advised that it be covered in a stand-alone policy. After calling several insurance companies, they are saying that if it goes over 20 mph, they will not cover. Did you guys have yours capped at 20? Ray suggested calling Allstate but they can't find the model in their system. Any info you all could share would be appreciated. Thanks again for all your great videos!
Where did you get the rain enclosure? I like the matching colors.
From the dealer we bought our cart from. They have a standard option or can order custom Sunbrella fabric. Info in description. Thanks!
Not sure if you'll see my comment since the video is a bit older. Is this golf cart considered a LSV (low speed vehicle) that requires registration and higher insurance? I noticed the speed is up to 25 and that's one of the qualifiers. I'm planning a move to TV in about a year and a half, and I've been doing a lot of research on all types of things including golf carts. I love your videos!
Hi guys, have you used the cart on a regular round of golf. I love the thoughts of a 4 front facing but wondering about golf use. Also we are building a home with a standard golf cart garage so we would have to consider that. I guess I’ll need to try parking one once we are moved in. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Between y'all & Peter S's video we have decide to move in the spring, bye bye Canada!!
Peter is Awesome! His video is what changed our minds about TV too. Glad you are enjoying our videos. Thanks!
@@MichaelTiffanyTVE We're rented a place for 3 weeks Sept-Oct for our own extended lifestyle visit. Only 65 day's away!!! Maybe we can meetup..🤔🍻😎
Nice review guys! You sold me on an Electric cart. I'll be purchasing one in the coming months. Does the Evolution support Apple Carplay?
Would you know the total length with golf club attachment? Since the attachment tilts the golf bags, the measurements would be from front bumper to the tip of longest club (driver) in the golf bag? My golf cart garage is only 11 feet. Would it fit?
Can we see how the rain enclosure looks when its down?
Here is a link to a video that shows it down. 👍 ruclips.net/video/Qo8hU-KoI_w/видео.html
Beautiful cart! I was hoping to hear your final cost at the end of the video with the battery upsize, rain enclosure, and seat change. Will you reveal that eventually?
We just bought an Atomic Cool Kart for our 2nd cart because of the AC. It’s awesome! But, someday I want to replace our Yamaha gas cart that has 2 seats + 2 rear facing seats, and buy a cart like yours. I just gotta convince hubs, lol. We paid $20+K for our Yamaha 18 mos ago. 🤑😂
Thanks so much! We ❤️ it! Will share more info and real world range results the more we drive it around TV.

Great video - thanks for sharing all the useful info! We are definitely looking to get an electric golf cart in the next few weeks. It seems like the perfect use case for electric - secondary/discretionary vehicle, generally low distances, etc. We checked out an Evolution, same model as yours but the 2+2 configuration. Looks great and has a GREAT price, but we actually didn't like the larger seats (prefer the bench seats) and the position of the steering wheel (seems like it projects out too much). To me it felt like we'd be buying a non-Tesla EV....ie you can certainly do that, and there's a lot of them out there, but they all just seem a few generations behind Tesla in terms of features and worked-out kinks. Probably going to go look at an EZGo next, but we'll see!
Thanks! If Elon ever decides to build a Tesla Golf Car we will be the first to sign up. 👍 Good luck on finding the right golf cart for you! Keep us posted.
Hello, my wife and I are closing on a Veranda in Moultrie on August 2nd. Definitely looking at your golf cart as our number one choice. How much was it with the upgraded battery?
Love the cart! What is the range of the extended battery?
Thanks so much! We did a 44 mile trip and still had 52% battery range. So based on this I am guessing 80 to 90 miles (with 1 to 2 people). Will document and share more range info in future golf ride videos (for 1, 2, 3 and 4 people riding in the cart). Will also do a golf ride video (soon) to see just how far we can go on one charge and still get home. Stay tuned!
Hi.
Love your videos! Have you played golf yet using your cart?
Enjoy your videos, the golf cart cost about 9600 but what about the cost of the new seats, larger battery and the rain enclosure,if I am comparing to gas before I purchase. Thanks again for a great video😀

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Will demonstrate the touchscreen, Bluetooth and Soundbar in an upcoming video.
Love the color combo and that so much is Standard with this car. How is the legroom in the backseats? Do you think it would be comfortable for taller people to ride back there? Our sons are both over 6'0.
Great legroom and headroom in the backseats! Will find some folks over 6’ to sit in the back and get their opinion to share in a future video. Thanks!
@@MichaelTiffanyTVE That would be wonderful if you could do that. Our youngest is 6'3" and built like a football player. Not sure if we would need one 4 seater or two 2 seaters.
Great video. I know you said it was under 10k. Was that with the battery upgrade? And how much was the cost for the seats and inclosure. Thought we saw you guys in Brownwood this afternoon.

I think they are trying to install so many features in such a small space. It makes things a bit awkward but at the same time at your fingertips. Are we really that attached to our devices that we need all that in a recreational type vehicle? I guess some of us are. I suspect maybe you need to be available to your employers. I wonder if the cup holders are vented for a reason. I’m sure they are for condensation, the very thing you are concerned about. Regardless, that’s a pretty snazzy conveyance.
Does anyone know if there are charging stations for the electric golf carts and/ or Teslas in the Villages?
How much was the battery upgrade?
What was your total cost after all your upgrades?
I am curious, how do you get your cart to the shop to have work done?
Good question. They are located across from Brownwood Town Square and offer pick up and delivery for service work. They also have a mobile service van that will come to your house in TV. Will do a future video on your question. Thanks!

I love your golf cart. Prettiest one I’ve seen that’s not majorly tricked out. I think the biggest draw to The Villages is that it’s a golf cart community. Golf is a close second. You big time golfers, feel free to disagree. Do you have a charging port in your garage? Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it. Yes we just use the regular electric outlet in our golf cart garage to charge overnight.
@@MichaelTiffanyTVEcool! I’d go for electric as well. I couldn’t do an EV because of our extremely long and bitterly cold winters. I’m sure mileage on those massive batteries would be drastically reduced if they even start at all. They are up here for those who have nice heated garages or underground parking, not me.
What shop location are you at
This was at their Wildwood location (across from Brownwood). More info and links to their website on our website www.thevillagesexperience.com/golfcart
Thank you for this informative video. I am not sure how tall Tiffany is but does she have a problem reaching to control pedals? I think you can get upgraded seats that are separate and can move up or back to help you reach the pedals. I am 5 ‘ 3” so I do worry about that.
Thanks! FYI… Tiffany is 5’ 3” and has no problems reaching the pedals.
@@MichaelTiffanyTVE Thank you. Lydia from the village newcomers is 4’10” and cannot reach the pedals so she really needed the separate seats to move up to the steering wheel.
How long does it last on a full charge
We are averaging 80 to 90 miles with the larger 205Ah battery. Thanks!
