I asked a waitress at a pho restaurant what kind of coffee they used but, she said that she couldn't give out the secret. A few minutes later I see the bus boy collecting dirty dishes and cleaning tables, and what did he throw the dirty utensils and chopsticks into..? A Cafe Du Moudt coffee can. When I went up to pay, they also had their pens and pencils in a Cafe Du Mount can by the register. In my head, I was like.. "your secrets out bitch"
lol… they didn’t do a great job of hiding the secret… now you know… 😂 - Binh
Cafe du monde, not moudt.
@@catmarsolan who cares, you know what I meant right? And I spelled it wrong & differently twice. See.. this is why people probably find you annoying
😂😂😂
THAT'S MY UNCLE RIGHT THERE
I have never liked coffee, but loved coffee ice cream, but u could never get my coffee to taste like that. Then i was introduced to "crack coffee" (Vietnamese coffee) and I've been hooked ever since! It's the only coffee i drink now
lol Yass Vietnamese Coffee is crack coffee 😆 - Binh
I am glad you explained the sense that the coffee is strong, for me it’s nothing; but definitely a drink I need for finals or during a busy day at work.
Agreed that if you drink enough you get used to the strength of the coffee
I like it hot.
I'm from Louisiana and if you can't find that particular can of coffee look for the (brick) air sealed bag called CDM. It's the same coffee just in a sealed bag and the name is abbreviated and it tends to be a little cheaper.
Excellent! Thanks for sharing!
I really wanted to see this thank you
Thanks for watching! Hope you subscribe 😁 - Binh
I have the smaller phin and the coffee ran right thru it. Don't know how he was able to get the slow drip.
"you're gonna be so jittery."
Truth.
If you’re not jittery 😬… you’re not making it right… lol 😂 - Binh
now i understand the vietnam drip
😉
It's hard to enjoy regular coffee after being spoiled with this.
Isn’t that the truth… lol - Binh
where buy the meche
🌴 Well that explains everything when driving downtown HCM city 10 million people wired to the max trying to go from point A to point B ☕️😳👍🏼👊🏼
Beautiful family, love u guys!❤
Thank you so much! ❤️- Binh
@@FoodAddictionTV Ur very welcome, thank u for sharing❤
Your measurements? Due to you having a bigger coffee maker don’t you need more coffee grounds? How many table spoons?
Not so much exact science... but whatever espresso is made with the coffee maker... you add level of condense milk to your tasting based on preferred sweetness. You can add more ice to dilute the espresso so it’s not so strong. Hope that makes sense? Practice makes perfect. 😃 - Binh
I have that smaller one, coffee dripping thing thing that you have. But mines drips super fast. Am I doing something wrong? Any tips will help. Thanks
You have to really pack the coffee and keep turning it so it’s super tight. It has to be super compact. Hope this helps. Hope you subscribe - Binh
Thanks
Did it worked?^^
I have a regular drip coffee maker like "cowboy coffee" or pour over. Can I make regular coffee with this brand? Years ago when I went to New Orleans and went to Cafe du Monde the coffee was amazing. Then years later when I moved to Hawaii and saw the cans I bought it and tried making it in a crappy coffee maker and it tasted really bitter and gross. I just bought another can now that I have a single serving pour over coffee maker but I'm worried that it may not taste good if I'm doing it wrong. Is this coffee just to be made as espresso?
You should be able to make it regular style. Some extra creamers may help sweeten the Cafe Du Monde as it can be a little bitter and strong as espresso. Adding the condensed milk makes it taste so much better… lol. Thanks for the comments Melissa! Hope you like it better this time and please consider subscribing for more coffee reviews. - Binh
@@FoodAddictionTV thank you for the helpful tips. I know out here in Hawaii they use a lot of sweetened condensed milk in coffee and I have never tried it. I'm definitely going to get myself a can and test it out! I'll let you know how it goes!
dope video
Thank you!
Niceeeeeeeeeeee
Thanks!
Take it to another level with some cinnamon turmeric and vanilla Flavor that’s how I drink my coffee
Great suggestion! Thanks for the comments… hope you subscribe! - Binh
Actually that’s not another level that’s another route…I hate cinnamon taste in my coffee yuck 🤮….Turmeric and/or vanilla?…sure!
Only need 200 degree water for coffee. If you loosen the press, it drips faster.
Thanks for the tips! - Binh
Why do my hot water just run through the Vietnamese coffee dripper, pretty fast. Not slow drip like yours? Is it my grounds size or ? So frustrating! Thx
Hi! The trick is to really pack the coffee so that its really tight and packed, you might have to add some more ground coffee, and then turn it so it's so tight and compact. Hope this helps! - Binh p.s. Hope you subscribe = )
@@FoodAddictionTV thanks Binh. I’ll give it another go!
Any advice if my Phin is dripping too fast
Just means you need more coffee and turn it so it’s super tight
No, no Love - that is NOT a percolator. That is an esresso pot. A percolator, either electric or stovetop, perks the coffee through the basket over and over until desired strength (about 8 minutes).
Thanks Don for clarifying = )
Dang! those late night commercial ads says its how you use it.
Lol 😂
Everything is bigger in Texas. Can verify.
That’s right!… lol 😂
@@FoodAddictionTV I'm in Houston, where did you get that Texas sized phin?
@@OkraPlutonium I can’t recall which Asian super market I got it from unfortunately
Size matters 😅
Doesn’t it though?… lol 😂
I heard you say that StarBucks is the best. That is totally not true. There are two coffees that are much greater. illy Caffe and LaVazza
Will have to try both those out one of these days!
Size matters 🤣
Doesn't it?... lol
Hehehe yeees! I love it that there's a supersize for your coffee. Wish that can be available in the Philippines but since it isn't I bought 2 of those viatnamese filters 🤣 This is such a helpful video ☕☕☕
you need a better microphone, volume is very low.
Center your camera better next time, can't see half the shit you're doing.
