Exterior walls should always be 2x6's. I think all showers should have seat, and I also don't care for tubs - especially round ones. Do love the master closet and the mud room w/ room for freezer.
See, I’m the exact opposite. I could live without a shower, especially a big one. Put the showers in the guest bathrooms. And here in south Texas we don’t have much use for a “mud room”.

Now though, I just hate the idea of soaking in my own sweat and dirt, a shower just moves it all down the drain - it feels cleaner.

This is a really nice home. I love that there are no long hallways. Two things I really don’t like is the 2 cabinets on either side of the stove. I would want to utilize that countertop space when cooking and I guess it’s a good idea to have privacy toilets but if you’re claustrophobic that’s a problem.
The fireplace should ALWAYS be the main focal point of any home. That is why so many put their TVs above the fireplace, so your focal point isn't detracted from.
Loved the kitchen....the whole home was nice. The back porch was nice and big. On the back porch...can there be a gate entry added, this way yourself/guests could use that instead of the front. The purpose of a gate, the use of sitting out there with a pet.
Owned a modular before wish never sold it but couldn't get it financed to move from mobile park to land it was beautiful 5 bedrooms 3 full bathrooms den with woodburning fireplace going to be selling home getting another modular but only 1 acre not 3 to old to take care of lol only one I know of here is laporte housing in Michigan city in

The stove really needs some kind of ventilation. Also with the build of this home, I would not have carpet anywhere near that fireplace. Beautiful home though.
Having a pocket door off of the kitchen going to the two bedrooms and bathroom would be a great option, for extra privacy and sound proofing in case one had small children who were in bed and let's say family had company over.

Crap!! I really love this home but that bedroom closet in the bathroom and the toilet in the closet ruins it!! I could get past the toilet in the closet but I just can't handle the closet in the bathroom! This makes the 3rd home that I would have loved to buy! Please, can you tell me why they put the bedroom closet in the bathroom???? Other than that this home would be perfect for me!! 😥 Well, I just have to keep looking! I would do away with the tub in the master bath, all together. It’s a dust collector and I never use it. The shower should have a seat and a built in handheld. I love the closet in the master! I love everything else! It’s always great to have space for a freezer in the utility room. I love the recessed canister lighting and ceiling vents.

You would think for the cost of this thing it would include some high end appliances like a stainless smart refrigerator and the larger stainless stove. or even the eye level oven and stainless cook top. just saying. I would take this place much more seriously if this was the case considering its built with 2x4s 16" on center as ANYTHING and EVERYTHING should be built with.
