  • This laundry room turned in to a multiple month project with only able to work on this once or twice per week (because of my full time job), it took forever to finish it, but it was worth it.

That fold down hide away is the perfect size for a small ironing board and it already has a plug in there too. Love how this turned out, great job ❤.

As I'm watching boy I felt you with that birtch plywood. It's pure crap. I found masking off your cut on both sides prevents tear out. Something you may want to give a try. It's a crime what that plywood costs tbh.

I am so glad I found your channel! That 3 hours went by so fast. Thank you for including all the little things that don't go to plan, I can so relate!!! And as a fellow Floridian, totally understand about the weather when you have to work outside. The rain has a mind of it's own. "You thought it was going to be a nice day today? Ha, here's 4 inches of rain and now you get to use your kitchen as your workshop to rip cut those planks."

Hi Tiff, I spent most of my weekend watching your videos, mesmerized by your craft. You explain so well and I have learnt a few things that I'll use on a regular basis (like why you don't use MDF in a wet room without proper primer)
Thank you for making DIY so enjoyable, for being yourself, for showing mistakes and your thought process, and.. well pretty much everything. 😊😊

Girl, when you’re mudding large seams like that, skip the premixed pink joint compound in a tub. Get the powdered stuff in a bag. You can mix it a bit thinner than that pink shit comes. It’s way way cheaper, and then you can put it on more smoothly after making it a bit thinner. You also probably wanna skip those ass plastic drywall knives, but those are minor criticisms. You got the job done regardless. Way to go! Mudding is definitely an art form, and I am NO profesional. But I am overjoyed every time I get the chance to do it and learn a little more and get a bit more experience.
Edit: Okay! 3 hours later I see you mixing your own mud. I’ll admit, this project started as a dumpster fire but as you worked, week after week, you can see both your skill and confidence grow exponentially! Did you do everything the “best way” you could have done it? HELL NO! But who the hell cares. The end product looks amazing. The build quality is great! And most importantly, you are proud of it and it works for you. I don’t normally spend 3h15m watching someone tackle a small project like this, but it was a fun watch and I’m proud of you! Keep it up! You’ve learned so much on this project, I’m excited to see where you go!

If you come across a problem, stop, reset, or maybe take a break to clear your mind. Yes, mistakes are made, but this isn't the end of the world. If those old washers and dryers worked, I would have kept. Much better than any top load that can be bought today.

First time I have seen your chanel. You did a great job. Your helpers did great too. I lived on a ranch and never learned how to do those things. My dad knew how and my brothers did. I should have learned. All though I knew more than most women did, lol.
    Congratulations on a great job.

Hello. I just found your channel and Love it. I have one suggestion that I really have to make. My dad built furniture and never used wood glue. He saved his sawdust and added glue to it and filled in all holes with it. It was very easy to just sand after it dried and could never tell where he did it.
