Gear used : Gibson guitars, BOSS SD-1, Ibanez TS-9, Marshall JMP 2204, G12 65 speakers, Roland Jazz Chorus.
Master Of Puppets is normally played with only downstrokes but the original tape has been sped up so it's quite hard to play without alternate picking. Here it's 220BPM. Also the intro should have been played with more accents and not systematically palm muted.
The Things Should Not Be is tuned down 1 step.
To Live Is To Die is arrangement, the original recording contains two different guitar tracks i think.

one thing: in the master of puppets chorus, it's supposed to be 7-7-7-7-8---7---8-8-8-8-6---7 (b-b-b-b-c---b---c-c-c-c-d#--b) instead of 7-7-7-7-8---7---4-4-4-4-6---7 (b-b-b-b-c---b---c#c#c#c#d#--b). The correct way is in phrygian dominant, and the incorrect way is a major scale (that's why it sounds too 'happy')
also the verse 11/16 bar is technically 21/32
its not in phyrigian dominant
@@yessir6427 the tail end of the chorus riff is in phrygian dominant by itself (root B) or harmonic minor if combined with the rest (root E) the way it's written in the video would make it major in either root, which it isn't.

Thanks, the second guitar has been recorded with more downpicking. But for the recording of the video i began to feel tension in my arm, the tempo is 220 BPM here.
The thing I find out of place there isn't alternate picking so much, but the lack of accented played notes in the intro. It's not supposed to be played all palm muted.

Nice vid. Kudos for adding in Leper Messiah, but I think it was a little simplified. It sounds more rich with the octaves added.
Puppetz prechorus is off, it doesn't go to C# 👍

Love the video. A few details in some riffs are a little off but it's not noticeable. Maybe you could do a similar video for megadeth riffs

Before commenting: of course i know Master Of Puppets is played using downstrokes, tempo is 220 BPM accidently here, a bit faster than the original and than what I can do. However the second guitar track is recorded mostly with downpicking.

Good job but I’m not hearing some of the riffs the way you do I guess. One example is the C# in the chorus of Puppets, pretty sure it’s a C.
