Kofta means meatballs (beef or lamb) cooked in a tomato sauce. You can serve it with rice and salad.

Recipe for: Kofta kebab recipe | Beef kofta Curry | Meatballs Afghani
Ingredients:
Kofta:
500 gr minced meat (beef)
5 gr salt
3 gr black pepper powder
10 gr ginger
10 gr garlic
50 gr potatoes
90 gr onions
30 gr green pepper
15 gr coriander fresh
15 gr for garnish
20 ml sunflower oil
Tomato sauce
60 gr onions chopped
5 gr garlic finley chopped
5 gr curry powder
3 gr red paprika powder
50 gr tomato paste
7 gr salt
250 gr chickpeas pre-cooked
100 ml water
30 ml sunflower oil
Method
Heat a large pan with sunflower oil and fry the onions until golden brown
Add in the garlic and fry for 1 minute
Add in the curry powder, salt and red paprika powder and fry for 2 minutes
Add in the tomato paste fry for 2 minutes
Add water and stir well and let simmer on low fire
In a blender mix ginger, garlic, potatoes, onions, green pepper and coriander into a smooth paste. Then add in salt, black pepper powder and sunflower oil and mix well
Add the paste to the minced meat and knead it together.
Form into flat burgers and place them in the sauce and.
Cover them with sauce
Divide the chickpeas over the pan
Simmer for 30 minutes
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with rice and salad. Хобби
