It was testified in court there was evidence of human remains underneath the planter which was the size of a human grave. While the body has not been found evidence of body decomposition has been detected in the soil as a stain in the dirt. Cadaver dogs also alerted to the spot as containing odor. Human blood mixed in soil were also found in the dirt surrounding Rueben’s deck though no DNA was able to be recovered. They believe Kristen’s body was moved recently when the investigation started to pick up again. So while they don’t have her body they have a good chunk of biological evidence.

I don't know if that makes sense, but basically if she walked Kristen back to safety, then left, it could have wound up being her, instead. I agree, she shouldn't have left her alone, she should have stuck around or tried to get campus police or something, but I think it's more on the guy who was with them, since he knew Paul was creepy as well and he left. the other girl was probably trying to protect herself, as well. I figure he didn’t want any involvement with the police and calling may put him on the radar because I can’t think of any logical explanation that an outstanding citizen would not be suspicious enough to call the police when you see someone in the middle of the night digging a grave, putting something in the grave that is known to be used to transport murder victims, then pouring concrete over it. Let’s see let me think of things that it could be other than something illegal…. Gee I can’t even think of one, not even one.

Unsolved cases are wildly expensive & difficult to have the budget to solve, especially when many departments have low budgets. I have literally dragged girls out of bars because they wanted to stay to find a party after last call when I was leaving. We came together to the bar, we leave together from the bar. You want to scream in my face you hate me, cool, we can never talk again if that's what you want. But you're getting in the taxi with me and going home.
My friend once went out and was walking from one bar to meet friends at another and she got pulled into an alley by a man, and the scariest part is that people walked by and looked right at her fighting to get away, hearing her scream for help, and they just looked away and kept walking. No one is going anywhere alone if they're with me.
Not one girl has ever called me the next day and been mad. At the time, they're drunk and think I'm ruining their fun, the next day they're grateful because they were too intoxicated to have been cautious and something bad definitely could've happened.
I have always been terrified of this happening. It wouldn't have been my fault, it wasn't this girl's fault, but I'd for sure feel like it was for the rest of my life. We deserve a world where people feel safe alone no matter where they are, but that's not what we have, and it 100% can happen to you.

Paul Flores acted like he was trying to help her get home safe… people should be able to defend themselves, that’s one of the many reasons I support the right for college students to be taught to use and carry a firearm. A firearm is the great equalizer. Even the thought that someone might be carrying could prevent them as being seen as an easy target. I’m talking about being trained and required to prove that you are being responsible. An intoxicated person behind the wheel of a car is extremely dangerous, so I believe that if we’re going to allow college students to drive, we should allow them to protect themselves and others.
*I know I’m not expressing a popular opinion. Thankfully we have the 1st amendment in the United States, and the 2nd to protect it! 🇺🇸

Hi Kendall I would love your help in covering my son Enrique Rios and his friend Elijah’s murders. Their bodies have never been found and I would love extra coverage in case it reaches someone who may know where they were buried. Please help!! I filled out a case request about 1-2 weeks ago

Possibly because they were naive af thinking he’s a creep but he wouldn’t actually do something to her. 🤦‍♀️ regardless you don’t ever leave a person alone with someone like that and think she’ll be okay. He was he even trying to kiss her, and she still left her alone with him!! Like wtf.

Totally but the most disturbing thing is due to the fact that he pretty much got off scot-free ( or so he thought) makes me hope that authorities are going to look at his post-history and any possible unsolved crimes that could be related.
