I added a Holosun 508t x2 rd, nightstick 550xl light, and a Ndx stainless steel guide rod on my Echelon! The guide rod and the light added a little more weight on the muzzle. It shoots good stock. My additions make it feel like a different gun. One of the best shooting pistols I’ve ever shot! Just saying. Thanks for the video. Appreciate it

I agree that even bone-stock, the Echelon is WITHOUT QUESTION, 1 of the SMOOTHEST full-size handguns I've ever shot. I'm thinking about getting the treaded version & adding a Volker Precision Mk2 carry comp to it. That little Volker was SUPER effective on my notoriously snappy PDP Pro Compact, but I switched it out for the PMM comp made specifically for the PDP (which now has that thing shooting flatter than Taylor Swift's ass). So I have the Volker & don't want him to feel neglected, so I might as well put it on the threaded Echelon when I get it. I can only imagine how well it'll work on the already SUPER smooth Echelon...

To all echelon owners....I would advise against the Fdez Barrels. I've had many, many failures to fire (light, offset primer strikes). I've reached out to the company, and they took forever to respond. When they did respond, they advised me to send back the barrel. They sent a replacement, but i had even more problems. I really think it's a problem with feed ramp design and the barrel chamber block shape. I reached out to them again, i had to email them twice, and it took them over a week to respond. They said i need to break it in more. But i put over 500 rounds through it. Still the same problems.
    Stick to the stock barrel.

I'd read where a couple people left the factory return spring in it to fix the reset. I compared the two when they were out, and the factory is a different design, and much stiffer. I put it in my PRPn and it's great!!! This trigger is badass!!! The only possible thing I could think of to improve it, is to have some of the reset travel taken out of it. But you can get used to that. Also, Dara holsters have holsters. Great review!

spot on with your comments.....I installed the PRP trigger system in mine and while I do like the trigger I did notice the long reset issue. I struggled to shoot the gun fast, even double taps bc of the long reset....basically have to let the entire travel out. also, install of that trigger was not the easiest.....but that being more due to the design of the Echelon....not the kit itself. I will continue to work with it, but we'll see. agree on RMR as well.....window just too damn small and blue for me. getting spoiled now with these bigger windowed models
