    I went with a vortech supercharger on my 99 GT but it came with a 3.6 pulley and 36 lb injectors and I bought a 3.33 pulley and 42 lb injectors and I also had full length headers and off road h pipe and 3.73 gears. I installed a center force dual friction clutch and upper and lower control arms and sub frame connectors and a new tune on 93 octane. I went with nitto drag radials since I drive it to the track but it still spins like crazy but definitely lots of fun

    Tell the owner if you still can get in contact with them to look into the intercooler heatshield. These stock intercoolers are good up to about 450whp but they'll never make it unless the gaps around the IC in the manifold are blocked off and all the air is forced through it. A guy in the Saleen community makes them and they work very well. My car with the less efficient Series 2 Magnuson MP90 never sees over 130 degrees and thats down here in Florida. In fact my car is usually around 25-30 degrees at most over ambient while cruising, and never over 130 while at peak boost even after multiple back to back pulls. May be something he would want to invest in. Its $225 for it and I could put him in contact with the guy who makes them. That car could easily be at the 400whp+ mark with those mods. It beats spending $900 on an upgraded intercooler for that manifold if one can even be found. It's not too terrible of an install either.

      Thanks for the info!! Ill pass that along to him. I believe he has purchased a new blower for the car though. Either way. Thank you for sharing!

      Bradley, how much rwhp can that blower make? Can it make 500+ whp with a smaller pulley?

      @@videogazer801 I haven’t seen cars with the series 4 making 500. I’ve seen up to about 450 or so with them on E and all the bolt ones and some cooling system upgrades

      @@904Saleen 450 isn’t too bad. I have that same car, but in auto, stock pulleys, stock exhaust, fully stock besides that blower. I’m assuming 270 rwhp since it’s an auto.

    I've been considering buying a vlean F150 from 2008 or so with a 4.6L 2V and putting a blower on it. I saw one on a car lot once. I should have bought it.

    Blows my mind. He is less than 400hp with a twin screw. 🥴 my N/A Trans Am. Makes that.

      @alvingeroy3242 2 года назад +2

      Yes but he’s also done no engine work, there’s a guy on here with an 05 NA 4.6 making 500 whp before supercharger and beating the 10 spd new GTs.

      My 22' GT 5.0 makes more than that while bone stock down to the air filter. It blows my mind that you think that's so impressive from your built F-body 🥴

      @jaronhunt8229 He's talking about his built car making more than this older vehicle. Good to see you were too slow to pick up on the nuance. Take a hike, Arnie Grape

    Surprising to see only 8-9 psi on a built bottom end 2v even on 93 why didn’t you go up in boost?

      @@krisjenkins4040 had the blower, lower boost, stock cams then also. The na 2v engines make 220ish stock on our dyno. Cammed and head work na typically make in the 270-280 area for reference.
