      That is a tough one. That is a lot of miles. No way to answer via internet talking with that info. I have boosted high mile cars for sure. But if your not original owner hard to tell the history. If you are original owner is may be ok but not sure how the valve springs are doing as well as everything else with those miles. 100K typically no issues. 271k you are getting up there. • @troyt3552
      @troyt3552 Год назад

      I run my 2001 GT 4.6 2v on a Paxton with an intercooler at 10lbs with 2000 miles on the odometer. At the time it was really expensive for the HP gain if all you have is a stock 2V 4.6 with just the supercharger. I was lucky to get it for free and hand built aluminum tubing as well from my race shop. I have full length ceramic headers to 3.5 inch X-pipe, aluminum ported and polished intake, race built throttle body MAF, I forget the heads but they re-engineered 2v and lastly a huge high performance oil pump system with pan designed by the Mustang race shop back in 03( I feel this has kept my motor & Paxton SC intact for the past 20 yrs with 99k miles)! I wish I put stage 1 cams in her when everything else was done to motor but she still dynos at 395 hp with 347 torque. I did test with and without the intercooler with the only other mod was headers at 6lb boost with 360 hp without and 368 hp with the intercooler on a 88 degree day.
      The remaining mods are complete coil over suspension, caster/camber plates, front and rear sway bars, Dual Friction clutch, Aluminum fly wheel, Tri-Ax short shifter, SHI++Y 5 Speed stock transmission, Ford Racing Aluminum drive shaft, Ford Racing 3.73 rear end with Ford racing axles, Heavy duty sub frame connectors, Big Brake package, roll cage, racing harnesses, weight reduction with only dash and 2 racing seats but kept the sound system and air conditioning. This is not a fast car for what money was put into it back 03. She handles just like a race car and boy is it fun to drive in the country roads with that supercharger whistle and that 4.6 sound coming from the exaust is still an awesome sound! These 550's sound like European cars but I like it even though its not a Detroit Muscle sound I'm use to.
      Last mods I did was a new 99 Mustang Cobra R carbon fiber hood, an ugly front bumper molded for best air flow through the intercooler, aluminum rear trunk lid and 18x12 Rear and 18x10 front Chip Foose nitrous Grey rims on 315/45/18 BFG cheater slicks.
      My 2nd car is my late father's 69 Mach 1 428 CJ Fastback Mustang with 68k all original bought new from the dealer. Love this car
      Hope this info helps😅😅

      Don't plan stock engine and looking for those numbers through an auto and have reliability. Can you do it yes. Will it possibly have issues yes. As long as your cool with that no big deal. An auto lays down less less rwhp than auto so you need more boost to make equal to what you are watching.

    • @BrenspeedEngineering

      I mean you could but me personally I would not because you need larger injectors and a better fuel system to handle the 35% more fuel required to run E85. So prob not for the small amount of gain unless you have horrible fuel in your location and E85 is your only good fuel option. Coyote is a different story as it is high compression and you have more gains... these are not that high of compression and you can run a lot of timing on pump 93 or 91.

Not sure if it would be ok to use on a boosted motor though. But, if so it should go into boost real quick. I barely press the throttle and it revs all the way down to 5600 to 6k. Warning ⚠️ though you can kiss your gas good by. The way I drive my car I'll only get 100 miles on a full tank. When normal driven I could get 330 miles.
