    • @SouthernSassyMama
      @SouthernSassyMama  4 года назад

      You don't have to have a square pan, it just makes it look like a loaf of "bread" and it can be sliced that way. You can use any pan you want, but different pans make it different cooking times. Thanks for watching!

    • @SouthernSassyMama
      @SouthernSassyMama  4 года назад +1

      thanks for watching. I add sugar because that is what this recipe requires. There are recipes that do not use sugar-but I have had this recipe for a very long time and it is my favorite. Here is a recipe without the sugar. If the bananas are not "over ripe" the bread will not be sweet at all.
      2 cups mashed bananas-6-7 medium overripe bananas
      1/4 cup oil (coconut, vegetable, or canola)
      2 eggs
      2 teaspoons vanilla
      1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

    • @SouthernSassyMama
      @SouthernSassyMama  4 года назад

      I'm not sure what could be happening. The inside should be soft, but not soggy. You may need to reduce to 325 and see if that helps. Use 1 teaspoon baking soda next time or 2-3 teaspoons baking powder. (one or the other) & Make sure you're using 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour.. mixing after each ingredient. I hope this helps!! I appreciate you watching!

Main thing was reducing temperature.....all ovens are different so i recommend to anyone see how quickly the cake browns, if too quick reduce and keep checking so u don't make 3 attempts like i did and end up feeding pigeons the soggy cake🙈

      You could definitely add cinnamon if you like, I don't use brown sugar in this one. I feel like it would work using the same amount. thanks for watching!

      I love piano but it should be more of basser lower tone. The sharpness takes away rather than adds to your voice. Difficult to listen to. I am sorry and didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. Hugs and prayers. Lynne
