I need a big portable speaker like this and would prefer wireless charging. I dont have any sonos can you recommend any speaker like this bit under budget tho… thanks
Sold my bose portable home smart speaker and bought sonos move 2. Amazing decent sound clarity, sparkling treble and bass not compressed at higher volume. Very satisfied with it.
You can choose from the 3....Sonos move 2 or JBL authentics 300 .....both with amazing reviews from audio experts ... same price range around 400 - 500$
@@skyberk682did you compare two of these? I find JBL‘s neutral sound signature rather boring, especially at low volume. Neither super clear (instrument separation) nor strong like Marshall. I can settle with neutral bass, but not with everything else neutral. I just got Authentics 300, features are good but not fully convinced with the price vs sound in this price. I never used Bose or Sonos. Are they any clearer in sound? Also is Sonos sound bright in low volume or neutral? Looking forward to your feedback.
Does this mean, if I buy two move 2 speakers and place one outside the range of the Wi-Fi signal it can still connect to all the other Sonos on the Wi-Fi network and play the same music?
He didn't but if it is anything like the first it will be plenty. We've had the first Move since it launched and we've still not had any issues with battery lasting long enough for our needs. Also they offer a battery replacement service if it is needed which wasn't cheap but also means you don't bin your very expensive speaker.
About 900 recharges they say (~ 18,000 hours) - depending on how many hours a day you listen that could be anything from about 5 to 10 years. A replacement battery is £79.
Another spurtastic review! Unfortunately, the move2 just doesn't float my man juices...I have a Sonos One Gen2 and for its size the sound quality is superb.... The Move range are far to expensive for what they are. Again, there's no denying their powerful output and quality BUT all Sonos needed to do was release a portable version of the Sonos One and make the app easier and more friendly to use with native content. I'll stick with my Zipp2's and Minirig3 2.1 set up for now 👍🏽🙂
Aye like, love Sonos, but can it bob or float aboot in the pool like? For that price I'd expect submarine capabilities lol . Ok, off to the pool and a lunchtime beer like. Cheers
Wouldn’t buy another Sonos product unless they start sorting out the loud popping banging sound on the Sonos arc, there are huge forums on this but still no fix
I heard 1 in a sports bar a few weeks ago and it sounded amazing. It was an old remodel so I can’t imagine how much better this one sounds.

The slow charge is expected though right? Means the battery will last longer too right?
You gotta compare this to the new UE Epicboom
Hi @Tech Spurt, any opinion how it stands against JBL Authentics 300?
did I understand you correctly?
Can you use the bluetooth to connect to the move 2 and have the music travel to all your sonos speakers on wifi?
Yes I do this all the time with my Sonos roam game changer
@tlfa5554 i got the roam to do just this. Amazing

If you have a pool why are you bothered about £450?
The stereo separation on this is terrible. Barely noticeable. Sent mine back. Minirig 2.1 is a better system IMO

HELL NAH.
Still enjoying the first one and plan on doing so for a long time! 🎉😊
