Great video 👍 Just to clarify that the reason you didn’t hear any difference between “compressed” and “uncompressed” when changing the Line-In audio compression setting is because it’s not applicable to wifi and Bluetooth streaming; only for Line-In (when connecting a CD player for instance). Line-In is available only on the Play:5, the Amp and Port. The Roam doesn’t include a Line-In source.
Eli thanks! You’re right on all of that. Shouldn’t of really mentioned it or tested it since all the speakers don’t have line in😏 but there was a difference in the sound quality between wifi and Bluetooth from my perspective.
Nice, clear and professional with pros and cons without all those fake sale pitch others trying to create/promote when reviewing a product. Keep up the good work and I hope you don't change.
I bought an on the move, and I simply love it. I’ll take it from room to room wherever I want music and it sounds even better when you play like remastered music.
HI there, I have just purchased Sonos move a couple of hours ago, was wondering how to play iTunes music (not Apple Music or other streaming music platforms) on sonos move via Wi-Fi?
Hi. thank you for a good video comparison. Do you know if after been set up with wifi the Sonos app can be used with mobil data if not wifi conection? Thank you..
The Sonos roam is worthless because it cannot be paired for cinema stereo for your existing Sonos. For a portable Bluetooth speaker JBL and many more blow it away for the money.
Great video 👍

Awesome video! Surprised this doesn’t have more views. I’m deciding between the roam and the move and this really helped. Thanks again
Will either of the Roam models communicate with the Sonos soundbar?
Which Sonos speaker would you get?
Hi, how to save more battery life for sonos move? Thanks for your respond😊
Based on sound alone, would you pick one move or a pair of Roams?
I’d pick the move in terms of sound. You get a much richer and deeper sound that you wouldn’t get on the roams even if you were to pair them together.
I took the Roam
Great video!
Roam SL for me.

Unfortunately to use these speakers in wifi you have to be connected to wifi. If you can’t use wifi you’d have to use Bluetooth with mobile data.
👍
Why am I five minutes into this video and don’t even know what Bluetooth standard this speaker is using?

I can tell you just don't like Sonos. I will wait till there on sale. JBL are nothing like they were years ago when they made excellent products.
Complete waste of money in my opinion. There are better and cheaper options.
Care to share any examples, oh ye enlightened one?
@@TheRybka30JBL. The worst part about Sonos is they do not pair up with your other Sonos like the sound bar.
