I'm doing do much better now that I'm staying on the outside of his foot. You give a lot of good advice but that spot really makes it so alot of his attacks are not as bad. Also he just spams the ground with fire over and over if you're in that spot which is the nicest of his attacks. It's phase 2 I'm struggling with. Everything 1 or 2 shots me and I'm not using scadutree fragments on my 1st playthrough so it's brutal. NG+4 lvl 250 and no summons. Any tips for phase 2?
Phase 2 is stay close and listen for those audio queues of his screeches. My advice is to never get stuck in the Tail and underneath it. My second phase strategies I went over the best I could in this video so I hope there is a something in there you can grab and use. BTW, I really appreciate you watching this and commenting - these Boss guides don't seem to get much traction but I still enjoy making them as some folks just need to see the fight in slow motion or even hear how someone else tackled Bosses such as this one.
I realize are you trying to make the DLC more painful for yourself why go into the DLC on new game plus 10 I go in to the DLC on my first playthrough do you know how long it take me to beat this dragon less than 10 minutes 😂😂😂
Before the DLC came out, we knew nothing about the difficulty of it; we had zero idea it was going to be this hard. So I wanted to challenge myself and prep up for the DLC with a NG+10 run. The DLC came out and I quickly realized what a mistake that 7 day prep journey was...
appreciate your tutorial, liked, but imagine having to spend 4 hours on a boss-fight. Coming from an old Dark Souls 1 player, where every fight was harsh but fair. I think this DLC is complete trash, they lost their initial vision completely and only gained a more rabid fan-base.
Yeah I hear ya - I mean Im enjoying it but I made a huge mistake prepping the NG+10 runs before knowing the DLC difficulty. Had I known the DLC was like this I would have just kept my NG+1 save file in tact. I too started my souls journey back with Demon's Souls PS3 - been a fan ever since - even Sekiro. Elden Ring is definitely for the mass appeal and less of what we all loved about Dark Souls. For me, the open world aspect really killed the experience I was looking for from their next title. I like the interconnected linear style of old.
@@FrankBudino every boss in this game is fair except the final one. Bayle took me 1 hour solo but he isnt that hard if you use summons like mimic or igon

20:03 Bayle the Dread Full Fight
This guy was an absolute beast. Took me like 12 tries to take him down in NG+10
I literally beat him first try after watching the first 7 minutes of this video, such a simple boss fight with your explanation thank you
Hell yeah 👍 thanks for sharing
Whenever a boss is giving you a hard time, might as well try performing the Oxford King horseshoe run for good luck.
LOL nice man - yeah the horseshoe method works every time.
Omg thank you! Thought I was never going to be able to beat him.
👍
great video man
Appreciate that 👍
I almost had him a few times with a scarlet rot build
Oh nice, does it take the Rot easily?
