Considering I've only seen your coaster idiots vlogs, a video like this being made by you seems almost surreal, which is a testament to its quality. Excellent work.
One thing you didn't mention in the review is how in the entrance cue room you can hear the John Williams score from the Christopher Reeve superman movies, which elevates the overall experience.

@@XGaming1 Yeah kinda weird. Its the same here in Germany with Suicides. But the reason for this is I think that people should rather stop you from doing it than just letting you do it. Of course there are situations in which that would be understandable, the general saying is: Lets think about it again.

This ride really fucking delivers. POVs don't convey the insane laterals. And front row ejector into second helix is truly masterful.

I live in Mexico City and one characteristic that differentiates the park from the others, is that in the large rides it is that they have waiting time at the beginning of the tickets

Ryan should upload an offride of this, it looks so nice, scenic and smooth, yet it also looks quite intense.
Finally getting around to watching this, and looking at it, it certainly has a more unique layout than the other ORIGINAL Morgan hypers (so Phantom doesn't count, as that was originally an Arrow). The only thing I can say is, if it's better than Magnum, it must be one damn good ride, because, in my mind, Magnum is the greatest traditional hyper ever built, and is even better than Millennium Forceless. I could go into why Magnum is Arrow's magnum opus (lol) even more so than X2 because of a more lasting impact on the industry, but that's a story for another day. Anyway, good vid!
Magnum is its own icon at this point. It's so linked to the 80s as well, that I now equate modern synthwave music to Magnum, even though said music didn't exist yet then!
I got a fast trim free ride on Wildthing several years ago. Absolutely amazing.

Steel Eel has the quintessential rollercoaster look. It's exactly what you get if you tell someone to draw a rollercoaster.
They should make super coasters (coasters between 150 and 200 feet tall) steel eel would be a great super coaster

@@fucku3305 Both are on the same level, both of them gives you an unique layout and experience.
They're quite different. Superman is a much more comfortable ride where you can enjoy the views and savor the airtime while Medusa literally slaps the shit out of you with every twist and turn.

I am absolutely floored. I can’t believe how much more you liked this coaster than I did. I’m never the type to say you’re wrong and I’m right when it comes to coasters, so I’m really happy you loved it so much. But I’m just left scratching my head at your review. Of the Morgan coasters I’ve ridden, I’d rank them 1. Phantom’s (the only elite Morgan); 2. Steel Force; 3. Steel Eel and Superman El Ultimo Escape (roughly tied); 5. Wild Thing. I enjoyed it but - holy cow - I didn’t have your experience! I would have guessed that this difference is all about preferences. I love big drops and airtime and I’m rarely impressed too much by laterals, so that would have explained it, *but* it sounds like you also thought it had great airtime. Oh well, that’s why coaster riding is such a subjective experience. Oh, and as I mentioned before, when I was there they were only running one train AND on top of that the dispatches were some of the *slowest* I’ve ever seen on a major Six Flags coaster. Lol.
Man, I would love to have loved this coaster as much as you did, especially as it turned out to be my 400th.
Yeah who knows! The ride could have been running completely differently for me and you! Coasters can be so moody and that can affect everything. When did you ride Superman if you don’t mind me asking?
ElToroRyan Yeah, definitely - I think the more you ride the more you realize how temperamental coasters can be and how easily a different day/time/season/temperature/mood/companion/operations, etc. can affect the experience.

Super man the ride at new England used to absolutely cruise through the second half with the old carts, it was intense
At the mídele part, it only stops you if they’re three cars at the time, because one it’s at station, the other one is at the hill, and you’re finishing the helix loop, so by the times, they stop one of the three at each ride, with block system.
I need to go to Mexico now...
I visited a few years ago and the ride was running all three trains. Two trains did actually stack on the final brakes. We were sitting on the back row and the third train stacked directly behind us.

I once stacked on Silver Star's mid course. For a weird reason there's also just one block before the station there, and since it was still occupied we got stopped on the MCBR for like 10 seconds. At first when I heard the brakes kick in I thought it was just to trim the speed, but they didn't let go until we stacked there :D
I was even recording during that ride but never uploaded the video, so maybe I should think about finally putting it online!

I'm buying that it is an awesome hyper. Not sure if I see it as better than Medusa. A good RMC is tough to beat and Medusa looks like a real good RMC. Good information on the video. I will be interested to see that top 20. With your coaster count it could be even larger than 20.
I always heard this is possibly the best Morgan, but dang now I am really sold. Also only saw pictures, just looked up a POV and yeah looks pretty sick. I thought Phantom's Revenge was fun, but was a bit let down myself like it may be tooo overhyped but this clearly is underhyped. Ejector air before the lift begins...from a Morgan! Suck it RMC XD
Magnum's profiling is the culprit for the very brief, but violent ejector. Every hill and hop is straight up, transition, straight down. There's no gradual curve to the drops to give continuous air.
Whaaaaaat? Are you telling me all this time I've been underestimating Superman over Medusa? I mean, I've only ridden so many coasters to actually know, but honestly I used to think Superman was only an "ok" rollercoaster, the last theme park I went to was cedar point tho, that made me underestimate Superman and six flags Mexico even more, but now I guess I own some visits to my home park. Great video by the way!
FWIW, Omar, I agree with your older impression. Superman EUE is just OK, and Medusa is clearly the only world-class coaster at the park. I even prefer the top two coasters at La Feria to Superman.

Is it just me or does it look like there's a rather weird transition at the top of the lift hill/first drop (with it going slightly steep, then slightly shallower, then steeper again into the main drop)?
Well I already knew that DH Morgan has aerodynamics hypercoaster style trains from the upstock wheels even though the owner of the company Dana Morgan was part of arrow.
Update: no 11 as Darien Lake has Superman Ride of Steel

I always get Morgan and Arrow hypers confused ... other than reading about them, what is the biggest giveaway as to which is which? Even on the loopers I can get it wrong ...
Morgan hypers have smoother transitions and a thicker track spine. Also the only two Arrow hypers that are still out there are Magnum and Desperado.

They were running three trains during a May 2018 visit. Stacking was rare, but I remember seeing multiple trains on the final brake run. If there was a train already on that final brake run, the third train would get trimmed significantly on the MCBR.

Nah Steel Dragon definitely wasn’t forceless, the helixes in the middle actually had some good positive G’s, but i just found the ride to feel a bit lackluster for the height

TexCoasters 101 Actually, both your guesses are wrong. 😆. Far and away, I prefer great air and steep drops on a coaster, and I’m less wowed by laterals. Also, I quite liked Steel Eel - it had better drops than I expected, a nice view, and I loved the old-school trains. My only complaint for that one was when I gave myself room, the bottom of the drops were like spine-crunching piledrivers on the hard plastic seats.
As for Titan, I expected it to be more or less identical to SFMM’s Goliath: smooth and enjoyable, but disappointingly forceless, except for the helix. Instead, Titan for me had surprise pops of airtime and the helix felt even more insane. But it was that airtime that makes me put it above the other two.

LOL a lotta coasters are better than Leviathan, and I'll say that Behemoth is better, but Leviathan still kicks ass for me. I mean maybe because Canada's Wonderland is my home park :D
