    I LOVE INTAMIN!! Fascinating company, even after every challenge they never give up and get back on their feet!!! They make the impossible of coasters possible (despite some downtime) and never stop innovating💙💙💙💙

    I truly love this series.
    I would love to see it with other innovative manufacturers, too, like Gerstlauer or MACK

    Shame this was never recommended to me. Amazing series! Can't wait to watch all these. Happy to hear Xcelerator get it's flowers. I grew up on that coaster and it is pretty awesome even if it's not as big as the others.

    Universal and Intamin are going strong, or FAST AND FURIOUS, you could say!! What's next to come from the amazing dynamic duo that is Intamin and Universal??
    BUCKLE UP, THE NEW FAST AND FURIOUS ROLLERCOASTER IS OFFICIALLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!!

    13 is known for it's drop track but it was marketed as something it wasn't but has grown on me fun fact it had the temporary name of 14 as a marketing gimmick and to do with 13 been unlucky i believe the que also has you walk under a ladder which is also considered bad luck. I like to pretend i prefer the bigger faster rides but i like 13 for the surprise drop track the reactions when people don't know are always fun

    I'm curious why you didn't include Pilgrim's Plunge/Giraffica in the 2009 year? Also I know it was considered a log flume but Shoot the Rapids was pretty important to why the relationship broke down between Intamin and Cedar Fair. AWESOME SERIES Though! I'm sure it took you a long time to make!

      I was going to include footage of those while discussing the non coaster failures but that will just have to be a topic for another day

    Do you know why some of their newer coasters (taiga, duelling dragons, Taron etc.) use their old three pipe track, rather than the modern style?

    • @jacobselleck9750
      @jacobselleck9750  Год назад +1

      The 3 pipe track has a turning radius of 7 meters, while the new track has a turning radius of 12, so for parks or rides that require a more compact layout or for rides that need tighter turns the old track is still useful in that sense

      I hope to see more impulse coasters built going forwards! Growing up near a park with an impulse coaster, they're definitely one of my favorite shuttle coaster models. Seeing more unique twists on the model would be great!

    What about Pilgrims Plunge at Holiday World? I know it has now been removed, but it predates Divertical having opened in 2009?

    • @jacobselleck9750
      @jacobselleck9750  Год назад +2

      Pilgrims Plunge was just a drop into water with no coaster sections so I didn’t include it, but it along with Perilous Plunge at Knotts and many other Intamin Water rides may deserve their own video in the future.

      @@jacobselleck9750 fair point. That would be an interesting video. I’ve enjoyed these videos thus far though and you’ve clearly done your research, highlighting some unique and not well known coasters, great job 👏🏻
