Okay you’re seriously the best coaster reviewer on RUclips. You actually talk about how fun the ride is and don’t spend half the video talking about stats and smoothness.
Jacob Williams haha thanks mang!
Yes! That’s the one thing that annoys me about AirTime Thrills. He’ll go on a rant about how a coaster is a clone or isn’t smooth, but not mention how good the ride still is for very long
To me the best part about medusa Is the re- rideability (hope I'm typing that right) could ride it aaall day long
Can't wait for the Superman review
4:38
They really want me to eat some Takis.
Best roller coaster review on RUclips. Love the format.
ThemeParkSpotlight thanks man!
The house that's part of the early queue line used to be an attraction on its own. It was called "la casa del tío Chueco" which roughly translates to the house of the crooked uncle. :)
Loved your review.
I enjoyed your review. You talked about the ride. It's good points and weak points. Filmed some great footage of the ride in action. A few stats and comparisons to other rides. I wish more coaster reviews were like this.
Coaster Raizen thanks!
Hahah omg you’re right bro 😭😂 Coaster enthusiasts really do be like
“Oh MaN, gOiNg To MeXiCo Is’nT a GoOd EnOuGh CoAsTeR tRiP, wHaT eLsE iS tHeRe To Do?”
Like what about the non-coaster related things like Chichén Itzá or another Mayan site or even Cancun if you’d rather just go to a beach?
Yo if you keep.doing reviews like these I'll finally have someone to replace coaster studios for weird, cool reviews. Keep it up man!
haha thanks mang!
Great honest review, and kudos on getting this credit
thanks mang!
This was a really good review, liked the format, and all the information you gave rather than “it was good and it’s not as good as steel vengeance”
thanks man!!
Not only it is my favourite off ride footage, your review is flawless I appreciate you liked MSC!!!
Emilio Carriles Cid thank you! MSC is amazing!
Glad you liked Medusa Steel Coaster :) i'm italian but I live here in Mexico City.
Ngl this was probably the best review of any coaster I‘ve ever seen on RUclips!
thanks dog!
this ride looks so fun! twisted colossus is my all time fav of the rides ive been on. **wood** love to ride this Medusa
No
Are you a voice actor? I can picture your voice in a commercial or something.
hahah definitely not but I appreciate it!
I love medusa, I'm glad it is at my homepark.
As a Six Flags Mexico anual pass holder, and a HUGE fan of RMC work, the update done to the old Medusa was a god send to the ride AND the park as a whole! The old Medusa was pretty outdated, and it was one of the roughest rides I've ever experienced. It was impossible to walk out of it without a headache.
In comes RMC, and builds this amazing masterpiece. It is my favorite ride in SFM, and one of my favorite roller coasters I've experienced in my life (I've been to a few theme parks around the world). The "small" and tight layout definitely offers, at least IMHO, a very intense and wild experience. I can say there isn't a "relax" moment throughout the whole layout. You are sent from one element to another with no downtime. And, like a lot of people have mentioned before, the "rerideability" of this coaster is just mind blowing. I could go again and again on it, without getting tired or bored. Usually, there's a long queue to ride Medusa. But, if you plan ahead and visit the park in some special days, you can get queue times of only 10 minutes. I think the "record" my friends and me hold is riding Medusa Steel Coaster 7 times straight, back-to-back-to-back. To me, it's a 10/10 coaster, like you mention.
In conclusion, if you are a roller coaster enthusiast and you are visiting Mexico City, you CAN'T miss the opportunity to ride this coaster. I'm very happy we have a RMC coaster in Mexico.
Amazing video and I really loved the format. While you reviewed the layout, you made it in a fun, snappy and casual way, unlike most roller coaster channels that go for numbers and stats. So it is greatly appreciated to listen how pleased you were and how fun you found the ride. Again, great work and I hope you keep it up that way, my friend.
Cheers from Mexico.
That is one pretty coaster
Medusa Steel Coaster is just an amazing ride. Yes it is a bit older, but you can't deny that Alan Schilke is just a god at what he does. No matter if it was the New Texas Giant or even to Hakugei that just opened, he is just consistent with his work every time one of his rides open. This is what every designer should aspire to be, and the fact that Alan Schilke keeps it consistent, show his extreme passion in his job.
I’m from Mexico, and I can say that Medusa Steel Coaster is one of the best coaster I ride
Final, someone that like Medusa steel coaster!
Great review. Glad you’re expanding your content. You need to blow up your channel is amazing.
Luke Minosky thank you!
No problem dude. I’d love to meet you someday.
Awesome review Ryan! I think your monologue and critique of the coaster was very adequate and well-crafted. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you!
best coaster review/vlog channel on youtube by far. Keep it up you're amazing
thanks mang!
Seriously, this coaster is one of my favorite roller coasters, more than hypercoasters
i got to ride this a few years ago when i went to go visit family it was amazing
Great Content. These are all quality reviews. Perfect energy level and authentic delivery. Real Talk.
Nice review! Your editing is off the charts. Keep up the good work and keep putting out videos.
thanks mang!
You deserve so much more subscribers! The way you review the coasters is like something I've never seen before. The footage, the commentary and the music are all on point. Also, you have a very pleasant voice. It's almost like you're trying to sell a product. And I'd most definitely buy it! Totally subscribing to your channel!
haha word! Thanks man!
Amazing and very detailed review! Nice work! I feel like SFM is an underrated park. Since you've visited, would you agree?
Coaster Daddy thanks! And yes very under rated! Although there are a ton of clones at the park but if you live in Mexico, you would hardly notice
your reviews are amazing and so detailed!!!! i hope you do more i really enjoy them
Dude is thrilled to be in the front seat. 5:45
Great informative and entertaining review!
thanks!!
That was legitness!
Exactly ten minutes you say, well, I'm playing my youtube premium card with a legendary modifier.
Regardless, great review, better than most. Do one of Eejanikia that would be sick!
hahah yeaaa maybe I'll do one for Eejanaika!
Awesome job
Some "floater air-time" would be welcome relief from all the body-slamming, nut buster, ejector air-time which seems to be the standard GO-TO for coaster designers these days.
Agreed that it’s an upper half RMC. It was running a train with six cars when I just rode it and it was hauling. The drops were great and the inversions fantastic. Yes, it was also smooth. The other RMC that it most reminded me of was Wicked Cyclone - both in terms of elements and general feeling of fun. Overall, a fantastic coaster.
BUT what you didn’t mention (and maybe you didn’t experience it) was the ONE TRAIN OPS on this and Superman El Ultimo Escape. This absolutely killed me. I went on a Thursday in February and it felt like a Saturday in July. Was the park crowded? Yes. But with normal operations, these two coasters should have had twenty-minute waits. Instead, it was one train per coaster AND with extremely slow dispatching to boot. It was about 90 minutes in a glacial line for Superman, and the same for Medusa, plus another half an hour just for the front row line. The ops throughout the park were just ridiculous.
Btw, a Six Flags membership pass did get me into this park for free, in case anyone was wondering. And btw, I did eventually get back to La Feria and rode both sides of Montaña Rusa, so that was great.
StamfordBridge oh damn, we went to Six Flags Mexico on 3 separate days and they only ran 1 train once on Superman and Medusa because I think the other trains had one down mechanically. Other than that the operations were excellent for us.
Glad you got on both sides of Montana Rusa
ElToroRyan Whoa. I’m surprised you had normal ops, in part because I’d heard before that SFM ops were terrible, so I assumed what I got was typical.
Oh really? I’ve heard that SFM ops are usually outstanding haha
Great job discussing every part of the ride, and there were Takis signs everywhere lol.
Thanks man! And yeah Six Flags has no chill with their advertising
My favourite roller coaster at SFM
Great review!! I do wanna ride some RMCs since I've ridden Steel Vengeance (which is currently the best). No wonder they're one of my favorite coaster manufacturers out there :(
BryceFourn 2001 thanks man!!
You’re supposed to buy an extra train if your park is open year round. That way you can refurbish one train at a time and just switch it out with a train already being used for a few months. Another six flags move lol.
Gotta get that ad break revenue. 👌
That flexxxxxxx
Cool
the house at the entrance used to be a separate attraction something called like "house of the tilted" or something, the remodelation absorbed it and made it part of the queue
Ahhh interesting!
Someday The Boss at Six Flags St. Louis will look like Medusa at Six Flags Mexico.
Looking forward to watching this! After riding Wild Thing at Valleyfair (another Morgan) Superman looks to be pretty great too 😊 is it worth crossing into Mexico to visit? Canada is also plagued with only having one major park worth visiting :P
oh its totally worth crossing into Mexico! Superman is like a Morgan coaster on steroids 😂 and yeah Canada could really use some more parks too
It was a front row walk on Wednesday when I rode it.
Very nice video. Thanks for posting and have a nice day too.
Thanks man!
Keep up the great work the vid was great
Thomas Levanti thanks man!
Are we gonna see a top favorite coasters list? I think now since you've ridden over 400 coasters it'll be an interesting video to see.
Definitely at some point this year!
Funny, I was just there and hoping to make MSC my 400th. But it was down at first so rather than settle I made Superman El Ultimo Escape my 400th, and rode MSC when it had opened as my 401st.
Venmo me $10 and i'll leak his top ten 💸🎢💸
HAHAHAHAHA he actually would meh
I rode it 7 times last sunday! haha Love it!
WOW 10/10 i like the vid so much!
alesso davila thanks mang!
Mang this was a good Skull Mountain review keep it up mang mang mang
thanks mang! I'll be posting more skull mountain reviews soon!
Amazing review!
great video man, keep this is up!
2:22 A guide to ride op stand up comedy
Holy sh*t that death roll wiggles like crazy, is it still safe? 🤣
Did I tell you how dope you are??
Look dude, any reviewer that can use "SLAPS" as an adjective describing a coaster, and it actually makes sense, is dope af!!
Waaay better than that CS guy!
D Boy Q hahah worddd! Idk if I’m better than the CS guy but thanks!
ElToroRyan Yo, bet I know about 2.2k others that would agree with me. Ha🤣 you're the shit mang!
But you're welcome!
ElToroRyan
As a true fan I'll always keep it 💯 with you. My only suggestion, only................ you're too generous with your ratings. If it's not perfect (ie Steal Vengeance, El Toro) it can't be a 10. Just let's me know how nice of a person you really are tho.
Ehhh it depends how you look at it. Medusa doesn’t have the added height that El Toro or Steel Vengeance have so for what the ride is, it’s perfect in my opinion. To be more specific, I would give it a lower 10 where as El Toro and Steel Vengeance are higher 10s
ElToroRyan
That's fair, it just seems to me at 10 it has no room for improvement and has no flaws, but look, this is your damn blog and you can do whatever tha hell you want! Ha, you still have my vote....Ya Dig!
Medusa Steel Coaster’s drop is actually not a barrel drop. It’s a corkscrew, which means it doesn’t count as a barrel roll drop
Noice!!!
It reminds me of twisted timber layout
did they take off a car from the train? it used to be 6 cars not 5
Gotta watch the whole video mang haha
i went to six flags mexico before and my legs where to smol for the restraints so i couldnt ride :( and i found out it was a really good ride and while i was riding superman again my brother went on it and when i found out my skin turned green lol
They gave this and batman new trains, so now they're both running at their prime.
LESSSGOOO
What’s wrong why won’t you do Goliath at six flags great America in gernny Illinois
Suh
suhhhhh
Is this better than Texas Giant I. Your opinion?
I’ll be able to tell you later this summer when I ride Texas Giant!
@@ElToroRyan I rode the old Medusa hundreds of times when I used to live in Mexico City it was badass. Now I wish I could go check out the revamped version. I rode the old Texas Giant only once before the revamp and I felt Medusa was better. I'm going to check out the revamped Texas Giant Saturday while still wishing it were Medusa instead SMH...
*sways like its falling over*
Seems legit
@LetsBeRealYT 555 I know
chill
@LetsBeRealYT 555 i eat gp for dinner
One of my favorite pastimes is showing people the sway on SV's first two inversions while waiting in line. Freaks the fuck out of the GP every time
The structure shaking gave me low key nightmares.
Why did they remove the 6th car? Does anyone know?
7:46 weird flex but ok
Merch review
I got nothing to review yet 💀
Grant Gress CHILL BRO. Juan train ops shirts coming your way soon #marchandorlateapril/may
😂😂😂
It bothers me how it only has 5 cars.
Steel vengeance is existing, just slowly laughing at media steel coaster being called the best rmc.
If only it was running 6 cars😂
Yeaaaa I wish
ElToroRyan yeeee
Nah Im still saying Steel vengeance is the best. 😂😂😂
ReinCoasterAddict 😂😂😂 you right
Sex.gayP
I found Medusa Better, I was a bit disappointed on Steel Vengance. So was my boyfriend, which loves rc too.
Great video but definitely not best rmc
thing is more steel than wood. it shouldnt need to flex like that. i dont trust it.
Shakey Shakey
400th like
That title wasn't even close to being true even 5 years ago
FALSE! Allen Schilke is the god of roller coasters, period. haha.
No one cares do vekoma boomerang reviews
“It’s a Vekoma Boomerang.”
