@@manikaditha6308 The themes were a lot darker here though. Dusk was literally about the end of the world, whereas Mysterious was about personal tales of growth.
@@manikaditha6308honestly it would be more interesting if sophie's story is about finding her late parents origin, or about ramizel. Sophie has one of the saddest background in atelier series but her story forgets all about it
@@takiyayep8436 what's so sad about her backstory though? I don't remember anything sad about it, honestly any atelier mc seems ordinary, nothing overly depressing, except logy and vane perhaps. They have their own problem like Ayesha trying to find her sister or shallistera with her village but thats it. Also Ramizel already appeared in sophie 2.
The lyrics "Black night is coming from above, no one can escape, nowhere to hide anymore, we'll fall into an endless sleep" are quite chilling, representing how the dusk is bringing them to the brink and they can no longer escape or hide from the problem and they're close to an "endless sleep" It's a shame the dusk was never really given much more explanation even in the plus version and we don't get to see the future outcome.

Problem with an OP that good is that the game can almost never live up to it. It's like the OP for the anime Elfen Lied. Incredible, anime doesn't match up to it though.
Love how experimental and mature the openings are compared the the mysterious trilogy.

it is just so haunting and beautiful to me. playing the game now and i have to listen to this each time i turn it on.

My understanding from other sources is that there world is running out of resources. That said I havent gotten to the dusk games my self.

How good is gust at making openings, i'm... I'm honestly amazed and baffled by the sheer quality, their animation department is incredible.
This ending perfectly shows the sort of depressing underlying lore of the Dusk series. The world coming to end and all.
