I can deal with the loss of dubs (while I prefer dubs to subs it’s not necessarily a deal-breaker) but it’s also from then on the translation quality of subtitling plummeted, until Nelke had some truly garbled nonsense ^^’ I also miss understanding the callouts in battle, wish there was an option to sub those also (Was also a pity they ended the dubs in the middle of a trilogy rather than at the end)
@@Wukjebacuwammamuswim it's always nice to have a different option, but Gust isn't much of a big studio so this was the best decision for them and we can see that the new games are turning out pretty good because they have more budget now

You know, I platinumed the game and never saw that guy once. After watching the opening nearly every time I turned the game on, I kept waiting to run into the guy and finally was like, "Ummmmmm.....?"
@@DoctorThor98 same here! I am currently playing the game, also targeting Platinum. Honestly, from all the atelier games I have played (10 by now), this game seemed to be rushed in development. The character is I think nonexistend, I believe it is one of the New male characters who got a complete New makeover .... and then they had 0 time before Release to change the Animation

I've played... oh damn, all of them from Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana on PS2 to Atelier Ryza 3 so that's...19 Ateliers if I counted them in my head correctly, counting Mana-Khemia 1 and 2 on PS2 and Nelke on PS4. Platinumed them all from Rorona to now, except for the Atelier Marie Remake which I'll get to.... who knows when. :p I liked playing Firis and the opening song was terrific... one of the best in the series. If you're currently playing them all in order, the platinums get more simplified as you go on in the series and there's less and less missables. Rorona? Damn, the first platinumable Atelier and about the hardest/least user friendly. All fun games though. :) Great, hidden gem of a series.
@@DoctorThor98 I platinumed the PS3 Rorona, honestly Totori and Meruru are harder to Platinum. I have around 5 left, my favorites are Arland parts + Ayesha. Marie 1+ 2 Was also nice

Yeah... I still really liked Lydie & Suelle but I miss the option of English voices. I really need to play Lulua and Ryza.
Took them long enough to realize that they shouldn't waste money on English dubs that 90% of fans hate, and other 9% don't care about.
