First time I played this I was like "god, this girl is the new protagonist? What a loud child. Sophie was way cooler". Sophie is still my favorite, but now Firis might be my second favorite. I really like her determination, braveness and love for discovery new things. She reminded the time I had to study hard to college entrance exam.
I wouldn't mind this playing at my funeral. The perfect song to send my soul off on a new adventure out into the unknown ❤ It just has that soaring among the clouds on a bright sunny day kind of vibe
In Firis, the game doesn't start before the exam. The game doesn't start after the exam either. It starts after the exam in NG+. I didn't like the game at first but fell in love with it much later, when the alchemy EXP grind is over.
havent played the game because i dont want to, but i got curious on the soundtrack and god its so beautiful, it gives sad anime vibes fsr imagine making a game with a better soundtrack than the game itself
if you fine with huge ass empty open world map, i think its fine. the most notable downgrade here is you cant duplicate stuff, recipe unlock is pure chore, same as min maxing. overall the game isnt really that much different than any other atelier games, maybe the sythesis can be a bit complex, but thats it. its still relaxing funny and beautiful game just like any other atelier game.
Some mysterious force told me I needed to listen to this song today. I guess this is why. Honestly, I hated it at first too. Being a lover of the original formula I was so freaked out when I put it in and it was entirely different. I was terrified that Gust had ruined my favorite series. But I kept giving it the benefit of the doubt and as time went on, the characters grew on me, the music stuck in my heart, and even the odd mechanics became a sort of blissful charm of it all. In the end this game cemented itself as one of my favorites of the entire series and became associated with a certain hard spot in my life that it helped me through, just like with most atelier games. Not to mention, some of the music even surpassed some of my all time favorites from the likes of escha and shallie. The relationships can be a bit odd and formulaic at times, but at it's heart this game has a much deeper background meaning to it with the coming of age and leaving home theme. The mechanics I ended up feeling added a bit more stressfulness which I felt had been missing from the original time systems. I truly hope you can go give it another shot and play through the story once more. I feel it really does hold it's own well and maybe you'll have a change of heart. Oh and do some of the post story bosses they're incredible too! Best wishes~
Still this game has no structure at all, yes, characters are cute and their development is good, but if you go blind playing the game it is very hard to find some things, towns, even events for the character endings, etc. I do not recommend this game for starters in the franchise, it is so different from Sophie and Lydie and Suelle, glad it is the only game like that, poor Firis, she deserved better, she’s so lovely

People need to give Firis a chance. It strays from the traditional Atelier gameplay, but it's so enjoyable and unique!
I wish they made a Firis 2(like they did with Sopie 2). While we're at it, Lydie/Suelle 2.
Yup and Firis is absolutely adorable
@@optimaltt6070praying for it, next atelier announcement is in a week

My first atelier game...❤
This is so nice, rusty sky from shallie is still my fav but I really like this
for the first time in atelier we have a truly vast map and so many cities to explore!
This is beautiful

I finished playing sophie. I really don't want to play firis. until I heard this opening. I want to play with her. So good
i have dropped playing firis 2 times in the past because of the time restriction, but now i played more than 100 hours and addicted with it.
love

sonic games be like
Firis is a bit of a clumsy game but it's a total guilty pleasure. Like the game is really charming despite the low quality in many areas.

I wish the game was just as good as this song 😔

This game about patience

@@Rubiick I agree with that
@@Rubiick Actually Totori is like that as well. There isn't any indicator on where to go as well so it is not only Firis
