    This repair took care of my driveline vibration. Just be extra cautious when installing the Double Cardan onto the centering shaft.

    Thanks for reminding about the double cardan. I need to service that bugger. I replaced the joints and figured I'd do that later.... 6 years later. Haha

    I love watching your videos, I get courage from them to do some small repairs on my own bronco, can you do a pov drive test any time? thank you so much!

    Bro these videos have been a huge help to me while restoring my 96 bronco. The quality is top notch, simple explanations and clear shots of what you’re doing. Very much appreciated.
    I do have a question: did you use the same u-joint for all 3 spots in the driveshaft? The one listed in the description (x3)?

    • @RW4X4X3006
      @RW4X4X3006 5 месяцев назад +3

      They'll apply in all three positions. Spicer 5-1330X

      @TheFixTech  5 месяцев назад +3

      Yes, same u-joint for all three.

    I appreciate all of these videos as I have a 96 Bronco! Any chance you might be able to look into fixing the wiring for the brake lights / turn signals? :)

    Where did you buy the axle boot clamps after degreasing the splines?

    • @TheFixTech
      @TheFixTech  19 дней назад +1

      I reused my original clamps, but you can use large boot clamps located in auto parts stores or hose clamps from hardware stores.

  • @WalterMelons

    My shaft looks different than yours.
    XD
    But really it does, mine doesn’t have that boot on it.

    I just added a 4” lift to my 91 bronco and now it makes a grinding noise when I let off the accelerator above 60 mph. Would that be a drive line issue?

    • @TheFixTech
      @TheFixTech  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes, you will need to set the driveshaft angle. If you used lift blocks in the rear be sure to reuse the factory angled blocks as well. You may also need a shim spacer. Remove the driveshaft and check for worn ujoints.

    Is this a 1350 driveshaft?

    • @TheFixTech
      @TheFixTech  4 месяца назад +3

      These are the 1330 series driveshaft used in the f150 and bronco 4wd. The f250 and f350 used the 1350.

      @iHeartOiSkanks 4 месяца назад +1

      Yes mine does have a slip yoke, it is under the rubber boot. 1990-1996 version
