Thanks for reminding about the double cardan. I need to service that bugger. I replaced the joints and figured I'd do that later.... 6 years later. Haha
Chingon Thank you, when I was young and no money I was doing all by myself self in my first car ( barracuda ), now I’m old and have this issue with my old bronco 1993, was so expensive to buy or replace this parts, almost $600.00 dlls, You make it easy and understandable the operation
excellent as usual. So happy to have found your site, I have a Bronco 90 eddy bauer and I have a lot of difficulty finding videos of this quality. I need to change my gas pump, your recommendations are more than welcome. Thank you
I love watching your videos, I get courage from them to do some small repairs on my own bronco, can you do a pov drive test any time? thank you so much!
Bro these videos have been a huge help to me while restoring my 96 bronco. The quality is top notch, simple explanations and clear shots of what you’re doing. Very much appreciated. I do have a question: did you use the same u-joint for all 3 spots in the driveshaft? The one listed in the description (x3)?
I appreciate all of these videos as I have a 96 Bronco! Any chance you might be able to look into fixing the wiring for the brake lights / turn signals? :)
I just added a 4” lift to my 91 bronco and now it makes a grinding noise when I let off the accelerator above 60 mph. Would that be a drive line issue?
Yes, you will need to set the driveshaft angle. If you used lift blocks in the rear be sure to reuse the factory angled blocks as well. You may also need a shim spacer. Remove the driveshaft and check for worn ujoints.
your videos are all so informative and easy to follow. I've got a 96 bronco and I've been following all your videos to restore it as well! keep up the amazing work you do
No fluff, just full of valuable step-by-step instruction. Kudos! And thanks for creating great content.
Thanks for watching
This repair took care of my driveline vibration. Just be extra cautious when installing the Double Cardan onto the centering shaft.

your truck is looking great for a 34 year old rig.

They'll apply in all three positions. Spicer 5-1330X
Yes, same u-joint for all three.
@@TheFixTech awesome thank you!

Better than expected

Where did you buy the axle boot clamps after degreasing the splines?
I reused my original clamps, but you can use large boot clamps located in auto parts stores or hose clamps from hardware stores.
My shaft looks different than yours.
XD
But really it does, mine doesn’t have that boot on it.

Is this a 1350 driveshaft?
These are the 1330 series driveshaft used in the f150 and bronco 4wd. The f250 and f350 used the 1350.
@@TheFixTech Im trying to upgrade mine to a 1350. I noticed you do not have a slip on yoke. Correct me if i am wrong.
Yes mine does have a slip yoke, it is under the rubber boot. 1990-1996 version
