Number 10 really hits home for me. Throughout college I worked 2 jobs delivering food. At first I was excited to deliver to the nicer neighborhoods, the ones with huge houses with multiple garages and lots of land. I quickly realized that those people are less likely to tip than the people from my own neighborhood which was significantly poorer and much closer in distance. Delivery assignments were basically random, you don't get to choose where you go, so some nights I'd drive miles and miles making fewer deliveries to rich neighborhoods and end up with 20 dollars in tips after 8 hours of work. Other days I'd get deliveries that took less than 3 minutes and make $80+ in half the time. I'm still not very well off but I understand the struggle, so I always tip way more than what's expected. Most of those rich people have no idea what it's like working in the service industry and they could not care less, but when you've been put through the ringer you can grasp how hard it can be and pay it forward to make someone's day a little bit brighter.
My Mom still cant forget during the 70's when they struggle to eat once a day since she was born in a village in Vietnam, My Grandmother saw their neighbors hasn't eaten a food since last yesterday so my Grandma gave their last meal of the day to the neighbor when they themselves struggle to eat twice a day my Mother slept extremely hungry till next day only fighting hunger eating wild edible plants. People who have heart even with almost nothing will still give something, But if you start earning so much money the lesser you will give something knowing the more you have the more you can get.
