Warren Buffett is the greatest investor of all time. If you had put 1,000 dollars into his investment company (Berkshire Hathaway) when he started it, you would now have over 30 million dollars. Such returns can seem unrealistic, but how did Buffett actually do it? The answer is, he understands what most people don't and is sticking to a few key principles that you can implement in your everyday life. In this video you will learn all of them.
Warren E. Buffett is an American investor, philanthropist, business tycoon, and the chairman & CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. He is considered one of the most successful investors in the world and has a net worth of over 100 billion dollars. Buffett was born in Omaha, Nebraska. Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.

This is quite educational. It's crucial for newcomers to keep in mind that the financial markets are highly irrational in the short run. You should constantly be ready for the unexpected. That is how chance operates. Because of the inherent risks in the market, I always favor long-term investments.

Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

In the short-term you should be glad those stocks you bought are down (think of it as now they are “on sale” and you can buy more “on sale” to strengthen your position and lower the avg. price you buy at! - example if you paid $100 for a stock last year and now it’s $70, sure you’re down $30 but you can also get more for $30 off what you already were willing to pay… as long as eventually you are able to sell for higher than what you paid on average that’s a profit eventually 😊)

The market's direction can change rapidly, showing a tendency for indexes to transition from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its bleakest and investor sentiment is at its lowest. These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

it's recommended to save at least 15% of your income in a 401k. You can use online calculators to estimate how much you should save based on your age and income. Saving at least 15% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. By saving this much, you can take advantage of compound interest and potentially grow your retirement savings over time. don't think I could retire with less than $3m in income generating investments and i'm not talking 401k, maybe $2m at the very minimum. I plan to work until I'm at least 45.

I am really worried about the current bank crisis. If a bank as big as SVB could fail, I fear for a lot more. I know a friend who is running a high-growth startup, and was badly hit by the bank run. I have pulled out more than $340k from my bank. After all, the FDIC covers only up to$250,000, and the implosion could have bad effect. Looking to invest into the stock market now. Does anyone know how I could go about it?

    • @AstaKristjan

We underestimate the fact that banks are corporate entities also governed by greed. Since 2020, the banks have been over-leveraging their assets, which was one of the reasons for SVB's implosion. I have never been okay with keeping much money in the bank. I simply invest through my financial advisor, collect my profits, which I then spend.

Well explained, the best thing is investing your money rather than just leaving it in your bank accounts, where it ends up loosing it's value over time. I used to be a victim of this, until I met a financial advisor *Christy Val D'souza* , she explained to me why I must invest my money and have my retirement planned. Now I can proudly say I make so much every week from my investment and my retirement account is growing bigger and better. I am not worried of getting older anymore.
