That last item was very important. Certain people can pull you off course or influence you negatively if you aren't careful. Having bad friends is worse than having no friends at all.
It only takes ONE bad friend to pull you off course (or worse, to use you as a scapegoat for a crime they committed).
One bad parent can be worse than having no living parents, or parents who abandon you or give you up for adoption, and cost you years of health issues from early childhood stress, and cause you to need decades of therapy.
One bad boss/coworker can set you back years careerwise. One psychopathic boss can derail your entire career by making you the scapegoat for a crime they committed or planting drugs in your desk or porn on your computer.
One bad romantic partner/spouse can pull your entire life off course, falsely accuse you of rape or domestic abuse, or plant drugs in your car or child porn on your computer.
There are so so so very many ways one bad person can up-end your life in ways you could have never imagined was possible before it happens.
That's how they get you....they groom you by gaining your trust...and then you never see it coming. This is how domestic abusers get their spouses to marry them and start a family, and then...once your pregnant or have just given birth and at your most vulnerable, they take off their social mask and release the Kraken.
Most people never think about the above situations happening to them...they don't even consider the possibility...until it does, or unless it happens to some very close to them.

Buy a good cross section of an economy and you should do well over the long term. The market wil be high in 10 to 20 years, and significantly higher in 30. It's almost impossible for a company with no debt to go bankrupt. the U.S. is about 50% of the global market place, Pay yourself first. It's time in the market, not timing the market. last year I invested 100 grand in the S&P 500/ an allocation fund (with the help of my Financial Advisor Rita Lynn Evans of course) and made 370k, but guess what? I put it back and traded with her again and now I’m rounding up close to a million.

I have done much research and this man is inspirational. He talks much about having good qualities in life and helps many people live their lives better. He has also donated many billions and billions to charity. So I ask, what on earth are you talking about?
Truth Teller: the only reason Gates opened his foundation was the fact he monopolized the software and computer industry. He was ruthless and bundled software together with his windows OS. You got every program wether you wanted it or not. This created a monopoly and stiffed all the other software developers. This lead to Gates having a very bad reputation. With his reputation in turmoil, his only way out of it was giving away his fortune to rebuild his image in the world.
If his competitors didn't point this out to the government, his greedy a$$ would still be stiffing people and not giving back to the world. His justification to the government for his monopoly is that if the government breaks his company up, that other countries would surpass us in technicalogical advances. He took fear of the unknown to rule over the tech industry.

As for Warren Buffett, I have a good friend that works for one of his major companies. He is in consultation with Mr. Buffett on occasion. There’s nothing remarkable about this man also, he may be down to earth, but there is nothing that he is adding to the improvement of the human condition other than The possibility that his vast wealth, it may, or may not be used efficaciously in the pursuit of charitable activity. Time will tell.
I prefer to admire true innovators, entrepreneurs who improve the lives of all people every day, eccentrics the likes of Nikolai Tesla and Elon Musk for example.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. I agree with you. I had a senior colleague at work who was living well but never had an Investment, unfortunately his work was terminated,so he went from living well to surviving with his family.If he had invested when he was still working, he would have had another source of income.

We read news in the media that doom and gloom is coming and we just accept it, doom and gloom doesn’t always have to be coming, I’ve read numerous success stories of people that are pulling off tremendous gains of up to $250K within weeks in this crazy market and I just want to learn how to achieve such figures.
Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.

He invested in Coca Cola? Sugar is an addictive chronic poison, dude. Look at what's out there and just compare its raw measure of whether it's good or bad for you and you'll see that all the legalities are there just for profits, not protection of society. Coca cola purposely put out ads for years with athletes to encourage "exercising" which we finally figured out was a load of crap when it comes to weight loss. No. He invested in them to make a profit for himself, not the world.
In regards to sugar I think it’s a little bit unfair to suggest that it’s a poison. Its primary use is to make food taste better not kill people. Abuse any substance and you will suffer negative side effects.
In regards to the sale of sugar all food is labelled based on the content of the food in a free society people chose what they want to eat.

Erin Halsted I'm british so I'm more of a tea drinker. but no I drink my tea without suger or milk. but I'm sure I get far more suger than I should seeing how I buy my food from a super market.

They've been talking about vaccines for three hundreds years... ever since the first doctor/scientist realized that it might be cool to trick the immune system into learning how to fight the disease by first introducing the weakened/dead viruses into the body... but yeah, continue with these "conspiracy" hints, "Sherlock".

Because scientists already now know that these kind of viruses will occur more and more often because we have destroyed the natural environment of animals that carry those kind of viruses which means that animals are forced to come to "our" environment which increases the probability of some human somewhere catching a virus.
