You can also set it so that all of those individual functions like radio and gas mileage will show up in the middle of the tachometer . There's an option in the menus that locks in the tachometer so it won't go away, but the information will show up in the middle of the tachometer
It looks great! Thanks for sharing the link so I could see how it turned out. Your car is so fancy with all the upgrades, mine is so basic! Ha! Glad my video helped you in making a tint decision. Enjoy your car!
Should have got 5% on the front two, double 5% on the back 3, and 20% on the windshield. now that would have been nice with the white exterior !@@dr_bodling
Looks great 👍 planning to purchase one closer to the end of year for better discounts hopefully. I’m trying to be $25k-$25.7 out the door price. If you don’t mind me asking how much was yours ??
Mine was $28.2k + TTL + $199 tint + $250 dealer fee. I was happy with that since it was $411 below the invoice price and according to truecars.com, was the TruePrice average price for my region (which I highly recommend using by the way, it is free). $25k-$25.7 would be awesome though. Good luck!
Andrew Bodling - Thanks for letting me know the price you paid. I have used TrueCar before and was great. Another discount I use is USAA which saves another $500-2k depending on the dealership. Hopefully by December the 2019 Accords are out so I can get a better deal. I’m trying to stick to my price point of $25-26k out the door price hopefully that can happen, will keep you posted.
Andrew Bodling-Yes USAA does discounts but each dealership gives you a different amount between $500-2k sometimes more just depends. I just say I am a USAA member and they always give me a different number other than the MSRP to start with. If you can use USAA for insurance they offer the BEST RATES and awesome service.
it's a little bigger than most cars but with the blind spot/rear cross traffic monitoring system, you don't really notice it much. Also, if you keep it in econ mode it's not all that fast so I think it'd be doable for a first timer.
I'm just a casual driver and not a sports car racer or anything lol, but I'd say it's pretty smooth and responsive. No worries about the "rubber band effect" with the 2.0. I've never driven the 1.5 so can't say what the difference is like. I just know the 2.0 drives great. The only time I see a slight delay is when I'm parked and put it in reverse.
How is passing on the highway? I have a 05 camry v6 se 3.3l that is very quick at passing. Obviously this is quicker and I am planning on getting this car next September I'm just curious how it feels for fun factor and at highway speeds.. I also I have a heavy foot when I drive so I'm hoping this is fast. Nice video btw.
thanks! It's definitely fun to drive and do things like speeding onto the highway, passing people or accelerating through curves. You can easily pass people on the highway in a few seconds. Often when I pass people it feels like they are not even moving. It drives really smooth too, so you'll often find yourself going like 90 and not even realize it. lol It feels pretty powerful driving it. When you push down the throttle it will lunge forward and cause you to go back into your seat lol I am definitely glad I decided to get this one instead of the 1.5. I haven't test drove that one but I think that one just wouldn't have been the same experience.
@@dr_bodling thanks for the response! I'm glad it's good at passing because where I live people love to go under the speed limit even in the left lane haha. I figured it would pull you back the tourqe is decently high and I'm sure you feel it at low rpms too. I was thinking of doing the hondata stage 2 depending on if I feel like I want more after a few months. The 1.5 t is a snooze fest when I tested it lol I suppose you could modify the 1.5t with a k tuner or hondata but I think the 2.0t is the better choice overall And unfortunately they didnt have a 2.0t to test drive.
@@TeamMastaBlasters yeah around here people do the same! lol I agree, definitely the better choice overall. hopefully you'll get to test drive it sometime. I've definitely had fun driving it this last month. The other day I went onto the highway ramp and passed like 4 cars in a couple seconds. it was awesome lol
Fordham Donnington Yes, I have the 2018 Accord Sport 2.0T in Still Night Pearl. I’m getting my Winter Wheels and Tires from Tire Rack...17’s are the minimum diameter for Aftermarket Wheels
I’m going to be trading in my 2014 Nissan Maxima for this model. How’s the acceleration with this? Would you say this a pretty quick and fun car to drive? Compared to what you’ve had in the past?
As far as acceleration goes, let's just say whenever I'm trying to pass people it feels like they are not even moving LOL This thing is much more fun to drive than the 09 civic I used to drive, although a lot of things are more fun than driving an 09 civic lol. I really like the blind spot monitoring system. It's one of those things where you don't really know you need it until you have it.
The tint is the same on the front door windows as the rear door windows. The rear door windows look a little darker because the rear windshield is 20% instead of 33%. Since most of the light comes in from the rear windshield, having a darker rear windshield makes the rear door window look a little darker than the front.
@@dr_bodling One more question: does the tint help against getting blinded by cars behind you at night? like does it tone down reflections from door mirrors?
@@changeisnow2009 Yeah it is. I think limos have like 5% tint. I think if you get 20% or lower on the driver window, you'll have a good risk of getting a ticket, so I just got 32% on all my sides.
@@RamoneBryan I was thinking about black as well but I think that would only look good if you got a very dark tint, which I didn't want to risk getting a ticket for
Base price 28.2 for the 2.0t??? At my dealer the base price for the 2.0t is 31k!!!! I'm going back in this next week to see if I get a good deal on a blue 2.0t. I'll let you guys know.
yeah that's the MSRP price that all dealers give, which is much more than the dealers invoice price of 28.6k. They also get a rebate (called Holdback) from the manufacturer for about $600, making their true cost $28k. Therefore I'd start your negotiation at around 27k and work your way up. Definitely don't go with them if they insist that outrageous 31k price LOL if you haven't already, definitely check out TrueCar.com. That will give you info for what others are paying for the same car in your area and will give your info to dealers so that they all call you, which will give you more leverage.
I have the same car. Love it. Done some small mods to mine. Now I really love it. Lol. Enjoy the car.
just got the same in a 2020. Thursday the windows get tinted. luv it so far
