    EDIT: The 2018 Accord Sport does have a touch screen. It is the LX model that does not. The Touring does also have heated rear seats. The buttons are on both rear doors.

      Michael - Any car with directional designed wheels have one side 'spinning forward' and other side 'back', because they are the exact same rims. If they had to design one side of the car's rims different than the other side it would cost more and be impractical (can't rotate wheels). And yes go look at the 2018 TT RS with the 20" rims, they do the same thing.

    I just picked up the 2.0t EX-L with the 10 speed auto transmission. I absolutely love this car. Amazing value. And damn she will flat haul ass. 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. Whoever says you can’t have both fuel economy and power never heard of the 2.0t Honda engine. 34 mpg on my last 3 hour trip running 80 mph on I-40.

    Love the new Accord. Looks like an Audi S7. Car is a blast in the 2.0t sport 6spd. Lots of fun and underrated power wise. With a tune these things will make close to 290/hp and over 350 ft/lb's of torque(122 ft/lb's more than the 9th gen V6). Not bad for a family sedan. The fact that you can fit normal sized human beings in the back now is nice as well.

      Sport and Touring have wider tires. Better handling but lower fuel economy.

    • @DellaHondaPlattsburgh
      @DellaHondaPlattsburgh  7 лет назад +4

      I have not heard an answer from Honda on that. But the Sport and Touring do have wider tires. That could be the reason. Wider tires create more friction. All of the Accords have duel exhaust, so that would not be it. I wonder if the CVTs are tuned a little different in the Sport and Touring models.

    It's not fair to say which model has what...it may pertain to these 3 specific cars but u can get various options across all three trim levels.

    What's the difference between the sport button on the sport model and the sport mode on the shifter in the EX model?

    • @DellaHondaPlattsburgh
      @DellaHondaPlattsburgh  6 лет назад +1

      Moving the shifter into "S" make the throttle response a little better and makes the transmission operation more aggressive. Letting the RPMs go up higher and aiding in quicker acceleration/better responsiveness.
      The Sport button makes the dampers become firmer for flat cornering, the Electric Power Steering provides a more direct linear feel, Agile Handling Assist becomes more aggressive in the corners, throttle response is more aggressive, the transmission’s shifting is quicker, and Active Sound Control gives the Accord a sportier exhaust note.

    The 2018/2019 Honda Accord Sport does come with blind spot monitoring on the 2.0t trim with either 8 Speed Manuel, or 10 Speed Automatic. But it’s a $4,500 extra charge. No videos ever say that. It also comes with touch screen.

      ComputerTechMaster19 that’s the touring 2.0 variant. All the 1.5 litre engine variants use a traditional looking gear knob.

    Just leased the 1.5 Touring. Not because I liked it but, because I got a crazy good lease price. I actually thought the car was going to be better than it is. My other car is Genesis g80 let me just say these should not be compared. Genesis truly does everything better by far. The G80 is a 50k car that feels like a 70k car while my Honda accord feels like a 20k car with 15k worth of extras that are not executed as well. The Honda Touring is a 35k car it should feel more substantial. If the lease price wasnt so good I would have picked up a rear wheel drive KIA Stinger. Those start at around 32k. Simply a way better car. I have to say the accord does have pretty much everything and then some. The engine and suspension are on point and even the CVT is ok. Honda infotainment is lacking it relies on android auto and apple car play to be decent. The premium audio system is awefull, it shouldnt even be in the base model. The interior looks great but is lacking in that it doesnt feel solid, brand new and squeeks and rattles are apperant. If you get a model in the mid 20k range its probably worth it. Overall I cant say im not impressed. Before getting this car I watched many reviews and they were all great, I can't say I agree.

      35k and 50k is a huge difference. That’s damn near 1/2 more for the accord. Glad you like the Korean brand tho

      Thanks for watching. I do have a few videos on the Honda Sensing. I have not done one on the 2018 Accord yet, but most of it is the same as in the other Honda models with Sensing. Feel free to subscribe to my channel and check out the other videos.

    • @certifiedkings2126
      @certifiedkings2126 3 года назад

      I’m 2 years late lmaoo but it’s because the head lights are LED it’s only blinking because it’s being recorded through the camera lens, to the naked eye it’s doesn’t blink

      Depends on what you want. And how much you want to pay the touring is most expensive because it has everything included.

      Correct. No lane watch camera on any 2018 Accord model. The EX models and up have the blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic monitor that replace the camera.
