I’ve owned both, the 296GTB is one of the greatest driving Ferraris ever. I know to many who haven’t driven one that it may sound ludicrous that a hybrid V6 Ferrari could be that amazing ……but it honestly is
@@warfordcars Yes, I owned a 458 italia about 10 years ago. My spider is going through a winter carbon upgrade at the moment - drop me a line next year if you want to go for a ride in it. It'll have every OEM carbon part available, and most probably the Capristo 458 glass engine cover. So I'd hope the finest 458 spider in the country (Speciale Aperta's aside). Cheers
Love the 458 but i take the 296 any day!! I've been working in the field for just over 15 years and the 296 is one of the most fun cars I've ever driven, with the exception of the 488 Pista!
Luck enough to have both a 458 Spider and 296 GTS amongst others things. The 296 GTS is the best normal car Ferrari make, it's incredibly good to drive and is the better car in all ways by a country mile. However my 458 Spider is the one I will never ever sell becuse it was the first Ferrari I specced myself and I've had it 11 years now, it's everything you want from a Ferrari.
458 hands down and I don’t even like that car that much. The 296 just doesn’t look right, won’t buy it for me any amount of money or performance gains.

I’ve a 458 spider - best car ever. Period.
Nice...have you had any other Ferrari's?

296 for me 🙋🏼♂️
Come on down
The problem here is the 296 is not for sale for £200k nor the 458 for £100k.

I had this exact choice in the US and I went 296 gtb
Very nice! How are you finding living with it?
I had a 458 with standard seats and had to swap to one with the race seats. Transforms the car.
458 for me last of non turbo v8 s sounds so much better than new Ferrari models. Looks great too .
The 599 & the 458 best Ferrari ever made
I've owned a 458 and it feels really dated to drive now. 100% i'd have the 296GTB
Take the 296 all day long......
458 for me. keep things original. Just subbed
Much appreciated 🙏
I wouldn’t judge my date for having a portable speaker if they pulled up in a Ferrari 😅

The last "Purist" Ferrari was the Manual 430.
I think I would agree
I’ll have the black one please
458’s are only 100k?????
Look seriously good value at that money!
Clickbate as never seen one near that price unless LHD with high mileage
Yes they're getting down to that level
Nope. Try and find one - minimum of £130

Where can you buy a 296 for £200k? Many cost well over £300,000 with only a few options
Cold start ... Revs it up.... . Oh dear!
