Rebel Rouser that’s what I have been arguing too. This car really looks classy unlike the Camry. The only problem I have with the Mazda is that that styling has barely changed at all. I definitely think the accord is the best family sedan in the market
What is a "family sedan"? In my book, both the Audi A6 and Volvo S90, and BMW 5 series are better looking than the accord, counting outside and inside on the whole.
@13:45 "Honestly, sound quality is not real good." I agree. Honda put in charge of their stereo department someone that either has never heard a very good stereo or Honda just decided to cut corners with the stereo (or both). I own the Sport model, and I own a 2003 Nissan Sentra. The stock stereo in the 17 year old Sentra sounds better than the stereo in the new Accord. Honda has the resources to do a better job. They could have, should have, but did not. The problem with the stereo is that the Accord never lets you forget that you are listening to a mechanical device. On a better stereo, the music is a wall of sound. On the Accord, you hear individual speakers. It is not terrible. But it is nothing close to special. On a better stereo, you get a very good soundstage and very good imaging. You get depth of instruments and voices (if it is in the recording). On a better stereo, the speakers disappear. Your ears cannot locate the position of the speakers. The Accord's stereo falls short on all of the above. And it is a shame, that this otherwise amazing car, with all of its performance, looks, reliability, fuel efficiency, quality paint job, etc, is bundled with a so-so stereo. To get the best sound quality out of the stereo, you should purchase .flac files (never .mp3 files), copy them to a flash drive, and plug the flash drive into the USB port. Note that not all .flac files sound the same. The exact same song is often available on the original release, greatest hits, best of, anthology, compilations, and endless re-masters (re-masters usually sound worse, due to over-processing by knuckleheads at the recording company). Sites like us.7digital.com offer demos that are a good indication of how the purchased files will sound. If you choose carefully, using speakers that are decent, you can pick out the ones that sound best, and end up with a much better sounding music collection. This will help wherever you play music, including in the Accord. Cheers!
Excellent review! I have the 2013 Honda Accord sport debating on 2018 accord sport or crv ex but might wait a couple of years and hopefully they change the taillights on the accord
Adam Kuperstein , did you buy you a new Honda accord? If so what model did you get and what price you pay if you don't mind me asking, I want to purchase one, what are your thoughts about the vehicle?
I purchased the 1.5L. It’s all the car I need . It’s fast . Already received a speeding ticket :( ... Only thing I wish it had was a sun roof , but its not a big of a deal . The sport has 19’ alloy wheels . Makes the car look very attractive .
I only got 25 MPG on my first tank full of gas in my 2019 1.5t Sport, CVT, and am averaging 24.6 MPG halfway through my second full tank, and have never put it in sport mode. Today I have less than 500 miles on it.
@@ryanlittleton5615 I have just over 2k miles on it now. I drove it on a 300-mile round trip and got 32 MPGs. Had an "OPPS!" moment when at one point I became a little frustrated at slow-moving traffic in the left lane then realized I was going 98 MPH. The 1.5t engine is plenty for the Accord. I have found getting in and out of the low-slung Accord Sport is becoming more tedious than expected. My previous vehicle was a crossover. I still believe this Honda is the most-bang-for-the-buck 4-door sedan out there.
@@ryanlittleton5615, I understand OD is a rare problem that mostly occurs in cooler climates where short trips do not allow 1.5t Honda engine to reach operating temperature. (And even those show no sign of excess wear.) The trick is to change the oil once a year or every 5k miles, whichever comes first, with Honda's recommended 0W20 synthetic oil. Now I can only wait and see if my Honda makes a liar out of me.
@@reaality3860 I understand that it's rare well. BTW, try using an oil with a higher TBN. And also change the filter EVERY time, Honda dealers only change it every other oil change.
It's really smart and helpful to focus on interior and explaining differences among trim levels. It really helped me selecting models and trim levels. There are tons of reviews out there spending lots of time talking about driving experiences but I usually fast forward those because I want to feel it in person during a test drive. Words are plain for that. Great job CC!
To be clear, the only real leather in the sport trims (1.5L & 2.0L) is the leather steering wheel. It sounds like you say the seats and doors are leather but I could be mistaken and you are saying pleather.
To clarify, Honda didn't specify whether or not the seat, steering wheel or door trim was real leather or pleather. If I were to give it a guess, I'd say it's pleather since this is just a mid-size sedan. Hope that helps!
First, I love your video reviews! However, you are saying leather in the reviews and it's definitely vinyl. The sticker indicates the shifter knob and steering wheel are leather wrapped. All the rest of the fabric (except the plastic) in question is vinyl (& cloth) just like it is in the entry level Camry Sport. Again, I love your video reviews but most reviewers make this same mistake (for some reason). BTW, I own a 2018 Honda Accord Sport and the seats are comfortable and have worn well so vinyl isn't really much of a negative. I absolutely love the car and it's a fantastic value (in my opinion)!!! Your viewers should also note that the remote start can also be added by buying a higher trim level (EX, EX-L, Sport (2.0 T)) keyfob and having it programmed to the 1.5t Sport (also works on the LX trim).
I PERSONALLY THINK ALOT OF TODAYS VEHICLES ARE SIMPLY OVER PRICED. INTERIOR JUST LOOKS CHEAP ON ALOT OF THEM. AND THEY SEEM TO FOLLOW ONE ANOTHER ON THE CHEESY MATERIAL. INSIDE LOOKS LIKE THEY WERE BUILT WITH RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES! AND I TRULLY MEAN THAT, THEY LACK QUALITY MATERIAL INSIDE FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THEY GO FOR. CARS ARE SIMPLY OVER PRICED, AND A BIG PERCENTAGE OF THE COST IS SIMPLY THE BADGE OF THE VEHICLE. MARKETS ARE FLOODED, AND SO MANY OF THESE VEHICLES SIT IN HUDGE LOTS, WHEN THEY COULD BE SOLD AT COST.

If you are actually considering buying either one i recommend going and experiencing both.. They're both nice, but the Accord is just better in almost every way. I bought the sport 2.0 the other day.. there are things that the camry will be better at, but over all the Accord is much more premium
Are you guys a startup? Your videos are way better than the huge outlets on RUclips. Also great idea actually time stamping your videos.
+Malice Mage Thank you very much! Glad you liked it and found it helpful!
best looking family sedan in my opinion. good balance of classiness, sportiness, and still very practical and not overstyled like the Camry.
Rebel Rouser that’s what I have been arguing too. This car really looks classy unlike the Camry. The only problem I have with the Mazda is that that styling has barely changed at all. I definitely think the accord is the best family sedan in the market
Looked at the camry ,pretty but over styled .i bought the sport love it ,can overlook the road noise. Nice car

I'd go with the top-of-the-line Touring 2.0T. It's probably the best family sedan ever made, tbh
My favorite Honda sedan!! Nice video bro.
Your attention to detail on your reviews is exceptional. Thank you
wish Honda would offer a "Sport Touring" , similar to a Camry XSE so you can get all the options but the sportier exterior trim etc..

Very handsome car without that chrome bar in the middle

Love the review. I'm going to purchase this car today. This review really helped a lot.
Thanks! So glad it was helpful for you!
Adam Kuperstein , did you buy you a new Honda accord? If so what model did you get and what price you pay if you don't mind me asking, I want to purchase one, what are your thoughts about the vehicle?
I purchased the sport. I love it. ! I payed 27, 300 OTD. I've had it for about one month, and I love driving this car. It's fun.
So you purchased the 2.0 liter sport?

Looking to buy very soon! I test drove an Accord (Sport & EX) & a Camry. Accord has got my vote! Thank you for this review.
Glad we could help! Good luck with your purchase!
Thank you!
I love your videos way more in depth compared to others
Thanks!
Great well detail oriented review.
Thanks!
Was planning to get the 1.5 sport. But after learning that 1.5 is cvt and 2.0 is automatic then ill take the 2.0. Dont want no headaches with cvts
Great review! Thank you!
“Unfortunately all accords play that dorky sound when you enter the vehicle” 😂😂😂
In Canada we don’t have an EX trim but we still have the EX-L trim... 😢
Nice. Now I got a better look on the Accord Sport. Maybe you should do a comparison with the 2018 Accord 2.5L Touring vs. 2018 Camry XSE V6.
Tyler Fletcher there is no 2.5L only the 2.0L and the 1.5L ofc
Tyler Fletcher Camry has lost every comparison test thus far.
The speakers sounds tinny tho , or is it the recording ?
This video is amazing
Thanks!

Great video but I feel like it’s dragged out too long. Too long of pauses between sentences. And too long of camera panning for showcase.
Check out our 2019 Accord Sport video we just posted earlier this week. I think you might like the feel of that better. Thanks for watching!
Nice review.

Awesome! That's what we like to hear!
What should the tire pressure be at ???
Can we expect a turbo v6 in coming years?
For like $43k 😂😂😂
Does this 1.5 liter sport come with remote start?
No, you have to get the 2.0L Sport to get it

Is Blind Spot And Rear Cross Traffic Alert standard on all trim levels?
No, you have to get the EX or above to get those features. Thanks for watching!

+Rhex Kimmer Davide Not currently. Maybe in the future!

Fun fact about pricing; in 1910 the Ford Model T cost around $800. Adjusted for inflation that works out to be $23,000 US today.
18:56 you should be a model
DomLouMiami lol
I like the new Accord, except for the front grille design. At least this model doesn't have the big ugly band of fake bright chrome across the front.
Stop trying g to rip people off.
Put the otd price.

I think the new Camry is nicer looking
I couldn't disagree more. These new accords are sleek AF, they look like luxury sedans.
That s very subjective. I find the Camry ugly, esp the dashboard, and find this accord gorgeous.
I found the insight one the best..
