Great review on a great car. I recently bought a 2018 Accord Hybrid Touring (in Modern Steel), and LOVE it. The engine is smooth, it is plenty powerful when needed (I unintentionally spun the tires pulling out into traffic), the eCVT is smooth and always ready, and this car is quiet. However, I will say that the 47/47/47 mpg rating is not accurate. I got 55.7 mpg city mpg today and average in the HIGH 40s and low 50s when combined. It has so much technology. Everyday I'm learning new things it can do. This is a FANTASTIC car. Great looks (MANY compliments on the color and the car's looks from friends and strangers), superb quality and a quiet and luxurious ride. And it's a FUN car to drive. I may have to add stabilizer to the gas tank since I go so long before filling up.
I just bought the exact car. I looked at all the competition but decided Honda was the better car for me. I drive 45 minutes to work daily, will enjoy my savings. I also drive a X5, so I’ll enjoy that performance. Overall great car.
Dear Mike, You’re the sole reason why I been changing new vehicles these past 4 years since I found your channel 😂 all the reviews you done are just that amazing!
Wow, this has to be one of the best detailed videos I’ve ever watched, keep this quality coming. What’s interesting is this same car on the market right now in January 2020 is about roughly $25k. So in 2/3 years time it has lost $10k. I bet in another 2/3 years this car will be about $14/$15,000 which in turn will have dropped $20,000 in price!!! I’ll never buy a new car, the depreciation is very REAL. If you can wait, you get a smoking car deal for a fraction of the cost. And you could possibly pay cash for it. Hehehehe 💯
Impressive, along with all the Details Given, Have to say,, with the prices of any vehicle these days, we should be given a Full Size Tire,, as what is already on the Vehicle,, again,, any vehicle. Thanks for this Awesome detailed Video.
I have the exact same year, make, model, trim, and fuel. The only exception is that mine is silver on the outside and gray on the inside. I love it! Best car ever!
Thank you for the nice review. I'm still torn between turbo 2.0 vs Hybrid engines. So on the Hybrid, and with in SPORTS mode pushed, does anyone know how much horsepower one would gain or extra torque.
But how does it drive?? Also, when you were displaying KM/h display, it had an arrow and text showing M/h so there's probably a button to toggle between them.
I have this vehicle and am interested in placing a siren (fire fighter) in the engine compartment. Are there any cavities that it could be placed? Assuming I have to take off the grill.
Do you think headroom would be a problem for tall drivers? I'm 6'4" and cars that have a sunroof that retracts between the headliner and roof generally lose headroom.
NoBreyner60 We just bought one today. My husband is 5'11" and with how he has his seat adjusted he just BARELY had headroom. The seat does adjust up and down, and I know his wasn't all the way down, but I'd bet 6'4" would be a really tight squeeze.
My friend was so bragging about his new Accord hybrid. I just laughed. My 2010 Lexus HS250 Premium has all these features except paddle shift and blindspot. It has everything even front camera. Honda is only 8 years behind in tech and people go nuts lol.
Kenny Nguyen that's the price you pay for luxury though. The Honda is a working man/woman's car. A (new) Lexus is a doctor or wife of a rich man's car. Obviously a luxury vehicle will have more features. But whoever bought the car new definitely paid a steep price at the time. And the infotainment systems from cars pre 2013 are cringe worthy. It's a sad day when GM manages to have one of the cleanest looking infotainment systems in the game.
You're like the classic prius guy but don't realize it cause, ooohhh, you drive an overpriced one with a Lexus badge. Folks, just google the 2010 HS250: www.google.com/search?q=2010+hs250&tbm=isch If you think that looks even a tenth as good as the Accord, you've gotta get glasses.
Love the looks of the new Accord Hybrid EXCEPT for that hideous chrome piece across the grill. At least black it out like on the Civic Si which turns it into a NICE piece.
I'm torn between accord, camry and possibly (but unlikely) the sonata. The accord wins a lot of checkmark but WHY doesn't it have a traditional gear stick thingy. I feel like it will be tough to get used to a push button system. Especially such small buttons!! Come on you know that feeling when you're in a hurry and you pull into a spot and "throw" the car into park rather satisfactorily with your gear shift real quick? I'm afraid I'll be searching for the darn button too much. I'm so torn which car to get. GAH. I really hate the razor blade Mach 7 look of the camry and no apple carplay. And a Hyundai is, well, a grandma car.
The camry has terrible interior, the exterior is okay. I would give a equal to camry and accord on exterior but when it comes about interior the accord wins. Hence I would buy an Accord.
Diwash1 I don’t like either . The dash of the Honda Accord looks like it has a Etch-a-Sketch fitted on top of it. The Camry’s unsymmetrical dashboard is a big no no for me, but they both have attractive exteriors.
Tucson Dashcam all Honda Accord trims can beat a Camry in 0 to 60 time. The engine has less hp but more torque. Plus hybrid Accord is faster and it has better fuel economy then a Camry hybrid. Oh and Accord like always is much more luxurious on the inside then Camry that seems to enjoy using plastic too much on the interior.
You are correct. On the Accord and new Insight, they control four levels of regenerative braking and it works very well. On my old 2011 Insight, they controlled the CVT but were basically worthless.
I just bought the new 2019 Insight..... the paddle shift applies the brakes very slightly and that kicks in the regenerative braking which in turn charges the batteries that power the electric motor which gives you GREAT gas mileage!!! In ECON mode I just got 60 miles per US gallon which is 70 miles per Imperial gallon .......... INCREDIBLE!!!!
Very good review. Would like to have seen it driving though. The multiple, lengthy commercial interruptions throughout the video were not only extremely annoying but made me not want to watch the whole thing.
NEW Camry all the way if you're comparing the two People don't realize the issues with Honda until they own one Bad production, sound coming from windows and front when driving and going through bumps Electronic shifter transmission is very fineky always a slight delay Just make sure you test drive test drive and test drive if you decide to buy any Honda No more Honda for me LOL

I just bought one hybrid 2018 EX L . I love this car so much technology and fun to drive.
this is the best car review i have ever seen hands down.
Can't take my eye out of that ivory beige seat it's so beautiful
I noticed Mike had another blue hand pointer in a previous video. He should use that one for all of his hybrid reviews.
I really enjoyed your walkthrough of the new Accord. Now, please do it for the upcoming 2019 Honda Insight. Your sense of humor was spot on too.
Got into a car accident someone hit me and that ACE body structure saved me and my family's life. Very grateful to have had such a safe car.
Thank you for watching and your feedback :)
Excellent review, thanks for taking time to go over the car details slowly.
I just love the new look and the hybrid gets great mpg. Can't wait to get one.
Wow, this has to be one of the best detailed videos I’ve ever watched, keep this quality coming.

Nope lol
$27,554 today
the finger gets me all the time.
That's what you wish she said
Good review. You did everything but the most important part: driving.
let me know what you think when you test drive it :)
Thank you for showing the amount of leg room and given you are 6 feet and can full stretch out your legs is a huge plus.
My very first hybrid sedan! Great job Mike.
This is the most in depth review I’ve found! Great video!
love everything about the accord except the tail lights and the touch screen popping up
Great review. I am so going to buy this in touring.
Impressive, along with all the Details Given, Have to say,, with the prices of any vehicle these days, we should be given a Full Size Tire,, as what is already on the Vehicle,, again,, any vehicle. Thanks for this Awesome detailed Video.

2:57 gotta love that little hand
Thank you for the nice review. I'm still torn between turbo 2.0 vs Hybrid engines. So on the Hybrid, and with in SPORTS mode pushed, does anyone know how much horsepower one would gain or extra torque.
No extra power. Just more responsive pedal.
Love how you went into detail of the wonderful car. Thanks Mike
Love this car. Cant wait to order mine sometime later this year...
Thank you for your reviews! Very professional and informational. I’m actually ready to purchase before I even go to the dealership! Subscribed!
Amazing video. Hey Mikes, what do you think about the Camry Hybrid vs Accord Hybrid Ex?
Great review. Little hand never gets old.
Haha the pause after the color was funny. “The color of this car is white....” too funny
Another awesome review Mike. Gotta love the 👉little yellow👈.
Honda has been making the best cars lately!!! I’m surprised!!! Nice review! Hey Mike , can you do a 2018/2019 Hyundai Santa Fe?
oOoooh. 40 minutes of Mikey goodness! :D
Now those rear seat headrests stick up and block the vision. Is there a way to remove them ?
Excellent review as always, Mike!
I wish Honda release an AWD Sport Hybrid version of this.
Rob L. It would be a CRV
Love ur vids! Keep going man!
Show the "Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock" next time.
Hybrid Top Grade Full Luxury.
2018 Accord Hybrid have GDI or just a Direct Injection ? I’ve been reading some Honda engines with GDI having issues?
Nice review!
Ty, Very nice and in depth interior presentation =)
This guy is talking so slow he's putting me to sleep lol
But how does it drive??
Also, when you were displaying KM/h display, it had an arrow and text showing M/h so there's probably a button to toggle between them.
Awesome channel and videos!!!
Best review lot of
details
Good video. Would have been better if you mentioned what features are exclusive to the touring model
There is a link in the description with trim differences: hondanews.com/releases/2018-accord-specifications-features
MikesCarInfo thanks that’s helpful
Very detailed review! Awesome
how far will the car go only on battery?
I have this vehicle and am interested in placing a siren (fire fighter) in the engine compartment. Are there any cavities that it could be placed? Assuming I have to take off the grill.
I like this little yellow finger, haha.
can i run ac on battries ? if yes how long on full charge
Awesome video as always. Keep it up Mike
Im so sad that is not available in Europe.
Greetings from Poland! :)
Yes but in Poland you've got it all in diesel, and the fuel consumption of a diesel is exactly the same as in hybrid cars. 3.5 - 5 L/100km
Awesome job 👏🏼

Do a make review of Ford Velociraptor 6x6 Hennessey plz !!!
Omg soooo cool mike I love your videos
Cool video
Mike, could you do a video on the 2018 Regal GS?
Would like to see a test drive and hear the motor
Can you do a review on the 2019 Honda Odyssey?
The 2.0L ivtech is not the same as the 2.0 Turbocharged engine?
Hopefully the floors mats are not typical and hole through at 20,000 miles.
Nice review. Thanks!
Anyone buy one brand new? What did you pay for it?
So does this care recharge as I drive or do I need to plug it in somewhere
Does the side mirrors and rear view mirror dim at night like the Acura TLX?
Hi Mike I have a request the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Platinum
Great review. Do we know what is the real world gas mileage is on this vehicle?
I was pulling 49mpg before totalled at 12k
Supposedly 47mpg but realistically 40 mpg give or take!
Good detailed video..
Does the Accord Hybrid Touring have the same electronic damping suspension that the non-hybrid Accord Touring? I have seen anything on that.
Brian Alan it does have the same feature.
My friend was so bragging about his new Accord hybrid. I just laughed. My 2010 Lexus HS250 Premium has all these features except paddle shift and blindspot. It has everything even front camera. Honda is only 8 years behind in tech and people go nuts lol.

Kenny Nguyen lol but how many miles per gallon your vehicle get? 25 lol (I know it's hybrid)
You're like the classic prius guy but don't realize it cause, ooohhh, you drive an overpriced one with a Lexus badge.
Folks, just google the 2010 HS250: www.google.com/search?q=2010+hs250&tbm=isch
If you think that looks even a tenth as good as the Accord, you've gotta get glasses.
Thanks for the detailed information though i have a question
What is the small hole near your finger 35:36 ?
It's the microphone for talking
Why is there a blank button on the steering wheel under the "main"? What would of gone there?
Good question. It must be for future use.
MikesCarInfo it’s probably the heated steering wheel option/accessory.
Do you know if you can use the map and play music at the same time w the Bluetooth or I would have to plug up my phone to play music while
Yes you can play music in the background.
Love the looks of the new Accord Hybrid EXCEPT for that hideous chrome piece across the grill. At least black it out like on the Civic Si which turns it into a NICE piece.
Nothing on the trunk space, spare, or battery placement?
trunk 10:58
Spare 11:57
Battery 16:35

L Smith they actually do. You can modify the car online depending on what you want. I believe it depends on the engine you choose?
I still prefer the looks of the new Camry better, but this Accord is still nice-ish.

The camry only looks good in se and xse form..when ppl make the comparison they seem to forget that

i'm love honda
Honda are out of your mind?. Putting led turn signals on the headlights but they just put an standard light bulb turn signals feel like cheap.
I think of buy used 18' Honda Accord Hybrid.
To all Car Salesmen,, take some hints here as to how to introduce a Vehicle,, you will be Swimming in Money.
Hi!!
Does the hybrid have active dapper suspension, anybody, anybody
With the e-cvt, how does the paddle shifters work.
James illinoisfinest Guyton if it's like the new Insight, they control the regenerative braking

This comment just sold an 2018 Accord!! I was wondering if it could hyper mile. Thanks!!
this is nice
Watching this and a Ford advert appears. C'mon RUclips, get smarter! Show a Honda commercial!!
If the crime piece above the grill wasn't so big I might like the look more.
I'm not saying it's bad. But it's not my favorite.
Very good review. Would like to have seen it driving though. The multiple, lengthy commercial interruptions throughout the video were not only extremely annoying but made me not want to watch the whole thing.
40 minute presentation with 2 ads is very reasonable considering it pays for the production so you don't have to.
Hello 👋
That plastic hand was unexpected lol
got one:-)
TurtleSpeed James how is it ? This or any of the Camry hybrids?
40 minutes? You could totally do it in 10.
I can tell you commented before watching the video :)
Can someone please give me this car as a gift 😊
Everything is Possible 🎵🎼 La La La 🎼🎵
I like the colours: Black or Silver 😉
Sure i can. We can exchange gift: I'll give you the car in return for your gift of $35K in cash
Heir Major lmao okay can that be given to you by 2030. I should be GOOD by then 😁
Silver ewwwww... you gotta be kidding me, only vehicle I've ever seen that's looks half decent in silver is the Jeep Wrangler
Latch under hood😔 it’s 2019 wtf
Hey Mike do u ever use that yellow finger with women?? Be honest...
Did you have to go there. Maybe you are on the wrong website.
I have a sense of humour.... good one pumpa0333!
NEW Camry all the way if you're comparing the two
People don't realize the issues with Honda until they own one
Bad production, sound coming from windows and front when driving and going through bumps
Electronic shifter transmission is very fineky always a slight delay
Just make sure you test drive test drive and test drive if you decide to buy any Honda
No more Honda for me LOL
What model are you referring to. Just bought a Touring model. Very elegant and EXTREMELY quiet.
I see more less than stellar reviews on the Toyota Camry...both conventional and hybrid. And I am a pretty loyal Toyota owner.
I likes but also BMW x6
I just got a new vinyl wrap installed on the roof of my 2018 Honda Accord Sport. Let me know how it is.
