He is right the Car looks absolutely gorgeous in person. The camera is doing injustice to this car. check it out in real person you guys will love it. Got the accord 2.0 sport, I bought it the minute I saw it.

Malique Chante' it’s not looking good at all. I bet it drives amazingly well though. I’ll wait until they fix the styling. Too ugly.
+Ken Freeman gotta wait til 2021 when it gets its refresh smh but yea I agree, the styling of it is ugly. The Civic is ugly & now Honda is making all of their cars look like the ugly Civic. Only Honda product that got the Civic design that looks nice, is the CR-V.
Baasil F. the new Hondas look FRUMPY and ugly....please just go back to the treditional sedan design and bring back the boxy flat elegant designs of the 1980s.
+Rye Shelton I think a lot these new cars have gone that route. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Chevy, etc..
The new accord design is growing on me. I'm undecided if I should purchase the Accord Sport or Camry SE. I like the body style of the Camry better. It looks like a normal sedan. However the Accord looks more mature and luxury looking imo.

A lot of the features he's asking comes with the 2.0L sport trim. You get the remote engine start with the auto entry, sunroof, heated seats, and blind spot detection on the side mirrors if you choose the 2.0L. Basically, it's has all the EX features on the sport trim body.
I dont know why but in all this videosnew Accord doesnt look that good but in real life it is one sexy car.
Good review.. Im super late to the party but getting info on a used 1.5T.. I loved it.. Looking for reasons to not like it, but I can't. Small things like the keyless, or no button on the outer portion of the trunk.. Am I really that lazy.. 😆 Good vid, subscribed
Yes i get where you are coming from. i believe that Honda resolved that issue on the later model accords
This new design is starting to grow on me. I still don't like the tail lights & think they're ugly. I still prefer the design of the 2017 model inside & out & the 2017 Sport rims, but I love how Honda threw in a lot of tech into this car, even in the base LX trim. The more reviews I watch on this car, the more I like it, & something about this car in the red color makes this car more attractive

Want that exact color option for my new daily driver with the 2.0T ! My 04 Accord still has plenty of life though

yes this was shot right after i got out of work so i didn't have much time to film but i made sure that i got ad much details as possible due to me only having limited sunlight as well as limited time with the vehicle.

I got the same exact car. Love everything about it! For $26K you get a lot of car for it! With the 19" wheels and sensing features that come with the car, you know you're already a winner! Good job Honda!

Good review man, well made video. I was considering getting this 2018 accord when I got my new car this year but i believe they dropped the ball with the interior.
the o9 honda v6 was the best ..the new hondas may have oil dilution..Nd they are made way cheaply. to cut weight and safety. and the 1.5 totally sucks .I don't know who's paying you off for this vid..its too hype!!! huu!! huuhh!!! oh! boy!! this car is great!!!! oh !! wow!!!!

Can anyone tell me a review of braking for this car? Because I bought one of these used and it was only 3 years old it was previously a lease, and I feel it brakes too harsh. It’s not a nice brake. Unless it needs brand new brakes or adjustment.

You should live in Canada cause the sport does have the sun roof even with the 1,5L :D and does have the keyless entry :D So I will try a 2,0L manual very soon :D

derek webster There is no EX in Canada. Only EX-L. And she has homelink system, driver's seat position memory, heated steering wheel and rear seats, etc
Oh, that's why. In the States we have an EX Model & that model gets the features that you mentioned.
But I prefer the configuration in Canada because the sunroof is obligatory for me and the EX doesn't have metalic pedals and the sporty look (19" wheels and rear deck lid spoiler)
That's because Canada always gets best packages lol
For anyone that may not know, the sport 2.0 is based on the EXL trim, so you do get all the features you get on the EXL+ the sports features.
Very true i did mention that at the end of the video. Seems like I got other people confused on that my bad.

So, i can get the leather trimmed interior and sound system in 2.0L sports?
Luckily the Sport trim this year has two levels, I believe the 2.0 offers a sunroof :) I've always wished the Sport would get a sunroof.

When you test drive this car.. you will love it!! Drove the 2.0 Touring this past weekend and I'm completely sold.. I hope they make it all wheel drive on the next one
I agree about the keyless. My last 2 Accords including the current Hybrid had it, hard to go back using the remote.
Thinking of the EX this time around in July.
I got the 1.5 and I love it definitely would like a touring 2.0t

Stephen Escott yes, $30k because the 2.0t accord sport has more features than the 1.5t. You get remote key less entry with remote start, the sun roof, heated seats, blind spot monitoring syStem, and XM Sirius radio and HD radio.
Do you get wireless charging? Also I thin the HUD is only on the touring, but do you know if you can add the HUD on the sport 2.0T?

You can get a sunroof on the 2.0 T Sports because it based off the EX trim

The push button transmission is only available on touring. Sport will get cvt/10spd/Manual
Wrong! Push button transmission is standard on all Automatic 2.0T Honda Accords.

Haha its all good man and i do appreciate you watching the video until the end. Yes i definitely made a mistake. When i said that the Sport doesn't come with a sunroof i was referring to the Vehicle that i was currently driving in this review which was a 1.5Liter Sport trim.

This car would be sooo much nicer with better tail lights... If I do decide to purchase, I’d have to have the tail lights tinted or something. They’re just ugly

Good review. How was the ride quality with the 19' wheels??? Some reviewers said it was a little stiff.
Well the 19' wheels only come in the Sport & Touring trims, which are the sportier trims, so yea it's gonna be a little stiff due to the sportier ride.

I think it’s an awesome looking sedan ,it’s very handsome. I’ll have to get used to the rear end view of it, I really think that 2018 is a really beautiful year model . In my opinion it’s not quite as handsome as it’s counterpart 2017 year model ,I love the fact that they stretched it but shortened it ,I like the fact that they’re giving a lot of more standard features that was obsolete in 2017. I think it’s going to bring a lot of buyers on a more professional level to purchase this vehicle and I must say the 2018 accord still remains The enthusiasts and drivers car/drivers choice .I think it will bring record sales to not only the midsize car market but Honda as well #CongratulationsHondaYouGotAWinner

If you put that key in the trunk and accidentally locked all the doors , will the trunk open by the key sensor or your totally stuck with no keys ?
Yes the car will beep and the trunk will pop back open automatically!
JR, I thought you were going to review the 2.0 version and maybe compare it with the mk7 GTI, power wise, but you brought the 1.5L instead of 2L, kinda disappointed, not about you, just the fact of the car in the video is not the 2L version.
You need better wind noise protection for your mic
