I feel it again, your voice trough the the wires towards me, you're happy and enjoying the small things again. It reminds me of the intros where you show us stuff you found outside, make music, and be so excited about your muji cloths. Thanks for being you Peter. praise yourself for being such a nice person.
Peter, I hadn't drawn a single thing since I was forced to in school (and that was over 20 years ago)... but I found your videos during the lockdowns, and it inspired me to start doodling! I don't draw everyday, but when I need to relax and just focus on something stressless, I pick up a fountain pen! Thank you for that! Also, my wife and I are on the opposite side of the cooking issue... we LOVE cooking together (and are quite good at it, if I may say so), but we now live on the road in my semi truck and are unable to cook! We are trying to learn how to eat truck stop food while maintaining our health! Anyways, just wanted to show my appreciation. Much Love!
My friend is into the ASMR thing, I like this better, listening to Peter ramble on about the dishwasher while drawing a cool piece of art is so relaxing.
I bought a waffle maker recently that has different plates, it makes mini doughnuts or waffles depending the recipe and the plates you use. It's great! Also made chaffles for the first time this week. I've seen that you can also buy silicone waffle makers that you pour the batter into and pop in your oven. Both options are pretty inexpensive and easy to use
Yeah I actually have gotten to like it too. I didn’t like it as much when I was a kid, but now that I’m the one that made all the dishes dirty, it doesn’t seem so bad.
The buzzing device from 4:18 is from a board game called last word. In the game you have to respond to a prompt under a time limit, so the buzz indicates time being up. Also as another beginner cook, thank u very much for the idea of getting a kid's cookbook! I wish u luck in all ur cooking endeavors.
Hullo Peter, I do enjoy watching your videos and seeing all of the different aspects of your life that you choose to show your viewers. I also appreciate the fact that you continue to draw and show us your drawings as an important part of the video. I do believe that Opal is very sweet on you! I want to buy another of your books do you have any list that you believe might be favorites that you have created? I know we all prefer some items over others and I am curious about how you feel about your books? Well here’s hoping that I can afford to own all of them one day! Thank you for sharing another drawing session with us. Please take care, be safe and enjoy your day!
I got really good pots for a wedding gift. I still use them 27 years later! So you’re right! Good pots last! Fantastic doodles as always 🎨💜 Love from Scotland 🏴🥰
I just got so much satisfaction from watching you make those little disconnected dot chains. Also, you look fab! Don't let kitchen gadgets intimidate you, you are the amazing Peter Bartholomew Draws, you got this. Have a great week, sir!
Shoulda put yourself and Dan on a wedding registry, like at Bed Bath and Beyond, Peter. We'd all definitely be down for getting you two the Beyond stuff.
What you could do for bacon wraps is cook a whole pound of bacon at the beginning of the week so it's ready, and mix the mayo and the spice, put in bottle, so you can whip one up quickly. Maybe pop the bacon in the oven for 2-3min? Or have a cold one.
As per usual a very entertaining and at the same time calming, soothing video, thank you Mr Draws. Also absolutely beautiful drawing - I especially love the dynamic patterns of the dissolving elements. Funnily enough I've also wondered why dishwashers don't have any windows before. According to some dishwashing experts on the internet there's crucial parts of the dishwasher's engine placed on the inside of the front door which can't fit anywhere else into the machine due to spacial limitations.
I mostly use my food processor for the shredding disc. It's a good food processor, but I never feel like the main blade of any processor is as thorough as I'd like without turning what's being processed into mush. If I want mush, I have an excellent blender :D
There's countertop dishwashers that have a window on the front. They are on the smaller size and most likely are meant for example for small apartments and RV's. I was looking at those few years back and would've bought one, except they were all slightly too high for my countertops.
I really enjoyed watching this video. I do enjoy all your videos. I wasn't sure about the suit, but it did make me wonder if people who wear suits and work in offices wish they had cool toys stashed in their desk drawers for the times when work was boring or they just wanted to go home. There are waffel makers that can go right on the burner. But the ones that plug in are really nice because it frees up the stove top for making other food to eat with the waffels.
Hello Peter. I like to make a lot of food at once so i just coock two or twice a week. Chinese nodules with chicken and vegetable. Putt the noodles on hot water and start the receipe. First cook the more hard vegetable those that need more time to cook and add the lesser hard one by one and so on. First cook carrots and onions. Then add corn. Then add sliced cabbagges (i sometimes add some leek when i am short with cabbages). You can choose other vegetable (beansprouts, pas ans some chinese vegetable, etc). At the same time cook two part of chicken breast. You can add some soy sauce to the chicken at the end of the coocking so they become a bit brown. Add the coocked chicken in the vegetable wich are still on the gas burner and mix it all. Then you add the noodles, the soy sauce and mix it all. The eat it ! That is quick, easy and tasty.
Great idea as information overload is reduced by following a cook book book made for children. Your idea gave me the idea that anyone who wants to learn to draw or paint could also turn to a child’s drawing/painting book as it would be much less overwhelming to begin artistic endeavours.
I'm so proud of you for all the cooking you're doing! I don't cook specifically because the mess makes me anxious. I agree about windows in dishwashers, seems like if a clothes washing machine can have a window, so can a dish washing machine. Also, if you get a stand mixer, just go for the Kitchenaid... it's expensive, but it's so worth it (I don't cook at home, but I was a baker by trade for a while). Get a kitchen scale, too... I feel like once you make your first bread, you're going to get hooked on the weird precision it takes. Baking bread is chemistry, and it's fun to tweak ingredients here and there to see how different it will turn out.
I primarily make my toast in a pan. Plus if you heat the pan hot enough for a quick golden brown, then turn off the burner, you can cook a perfect over easy egg off the residual heat.
I appreciate the dapper gentleman in sweatpants look today! That's a vibe. These are some of my favorite videos of yours. Your subscribers send you the coolest, craziest things, and it's fun to come along for the unboxing. :)
That is a super awesome box, I love all the stuff inside! no worries my dude I'm dyslexic, and sometimes for people it doesn't pop up till they are stressed. Like my husband his is more noticeable when he's very anxious and stressed out. Me however.... I'm messed up all the time, also very anxious (I have been known to have a panic attack over the fact I have 20 pages left in a sketchbook, or what drink to buy at the gas station...yeah). which is why I love your videos and been watching them for so long lol.
First time commenting here, idek if he read them. Anyways, toast and bagels are better in a pan than in a toaster! Add the butter to the bread and put it in the hot pan, butter side down. It cooks into the bread without drying the toast. Enjoy
I really enjoy watching your speeded up drawing, but could you do one that is in real time? I know it would be longer timewise. But I would be I terested in seeing that at least once.
I have a countertop dishwasher (an older model Danby) that has a window in it. Now that I think about it (I haven't used it in years because the current apartment that I'm renting has a full-sized dishwasher installed), the window in the dishwasher reminds me a bit of being in one of those drive-thru carwashes, with all the water sploshing against the window... lol. And actually, I like it far more than the "fancy" full-sized dishwasher that's installed in my apartment... I find the countertop model to be more efficient and actually works better IMO. Admittedly, though, I'd never really given the window that much thought... I suppose I took it for granted, but yes, it's nice to be able to see what's going on inside and _really_ know your dishes are getting clean.... lol 😄
Find a few meals you really like, then make large amounts all at once. For me, its teriyaki chicken and I cook (bake) 10 pounds at a time, and it only takes about 2 hours. That way I have meals for the week, LOTS more free time for my hobbies, and I dont eat as much junk food. Best of luck with your cooking, Peter
Look for the already cooked bacon. It’s a little more expensive but less mess. I keep the package in the freezer and just take out a slice or two as needed.
Awesome pen. If that pen was a van 🚐 it would be the kind with an airbrushed Viking warrior or something of the like riding a dragon in the middle of a space nebula. It’s bold ,it’s tacky ,it’s awesome.
Nice suit. And that lil Etch-a-Sketch keychain is a lot cheaper than a drawing tablet for mobile drawing. Lucky, Lucky. (edit) You need to try frozen waffles. I recommend any kind.
Hey Peter, congrats. on cooking. The suit was really happening until the sweat pants, I hope you weren't wearing Crocs. Love the Jinhao pen and your art. 👍
I learned to cook after I got a divorce. My ex husband wouldn't allow me to experimemt. Now that I'm single I try all kinds of foods. I'm not so bad. I'm so glad you are starting to cook. It's another form of art
As a Young Living Coulda been a "Diamond" by now, Eucalyptus Essential Oil was what got me into Young Living. Eucalyptus Globulus is possibly next to Lavender my favorite Essential Oil. Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil (Therapeutic Grade), is the greatest natural expectorant I've ever used - having phlem issues since Broncotus always used to take me in the winters. 10 drops on a klenex square (fold the klenex 2x into a square), then folded lengthwise after applying the drops, and fold that piece 3x more until you have a piece that goes over both nostrils. If your chest is congested you can exhale all air from your lungs then cover your nose with the oiled klenex, and breath in as much of the vapors as you can and hold it. Do this as many times as you can. It will make you cough. It will also break up all chest congestion used this way. Being able to cough up phlem ans spit it out is a plus. Lavender (Therapuduc Grade) is possibly the best natural sleep aid ever. I use it almost nightly. It also will relax you as well, if not better, than CBD oil. I put about 5 drops in my palm and put both palms together distributing the oil on my palms. I then cup my palms making a space large enough with my two thumbs to breath through with my nose. I breath in deeply until I feel a slightly painful sting in the pineal gland area. I try to hold it in then blow out. After second inhale this way I can feel the relaxant working in my nearves all the way to my feet! It is POWERFUL! Lavender Essential Oil rubbed on clean feet should put you to sleep. Many use carrier oils to stretch the essentials. But I usually use mine pure or what Oilers call "neat". Peter, if you want to try either of these EOs, email me? I can send you some free to me except the postage. YOU SHOULD LOVE THEM being a person who lives by your olfactory sence a lot. I had to get that out after you got the shower bomb out. Awesome gift that shower bomb! They do have DIY Tutorials on how to make both shower and bath bombs with EOs. I am telling you that Young Living will be your #1 company for Therapeutic EOs. They have a 5 step process called "Seed To Seal" that no other company does. There are oils that come close. I so wish I could become your Essential Oil Mentor. Maybe someone un NC can hook you up? On the cooking. The reason no window on dishwashers is they are not like clothes washers. Unless you were trying to be serious whilst joking. ( lols - I love doing that to unassuming friends? ) Yeah, so no window on dishwashers = no watching gross ate up food spin about tour dishes. When you said the thing about never having the essentials for cooking, it almost made me cry? I LOVE COOKING!? Hot buttered toast is one of my weaknesses. That toast when eaten te with a proper cup of hot Lipton Tea (brewed 5 minutes with vanilla liquid creamer and 2 tsp. sugar please), Oh my WORD - such a comfort duo! So I am glad for your toaster experience. All Peter Draws friends should get together and send you some essential kitchen wares. PLUS/OR you should go to a Community Beginners Cooking Class? You can meet some cool people that way? Betty Crocker Red Edition Hardback given to me as a wedding gift, taught me so much. I was telling a friend just last night it is THE BEST cookbook for beginners because it really goes into details. I learned probably a dozen recipes from that book that I still use today. The original one I saw was 75.00 somewhere. I have my worn one. "Worn" being an understatement. So I got another one for myself and my sons wife. My son loves to cook. And he remembers mom getting that cookbook out. (nostoligia warm fuzzies!) Other than that book, my Sicilian Grandmother and my Mom taught me a few very family Italian dishes. Good luck with the cooking. You could get good enough to have your own recipes and make your own cook book like me one day "coughs". Yes, one day...ha.
Watching you go through my little box of junk was a fantastic way to spend my lunch break 😄 Thank you Peter!
A rare gem on the internet that deserves the love of the people he’s captured with his genuine personality
You look fantastic in that suit bro!
LMAO
I feel it again, your voice trough the the wires towards me, you're happy and enjoying the small things again. It reminds me of the intros where you show us stuff you found outside, make music, and be so excited about your muji cloths. Thanks for being you Peter. praise yourself for being such a nice person.
wow never thought of getting a kids cookbook, always wanted to learn how to cook but feels overwhelming at times. great idea!!
Thinking the same thing what a brilliant idea I also find "adult" cook books far to overwhelming
Great idea.
Keep it simple....be happier......EZ ✌️
Love the suit... I laughed when you leaned back and had sweatpants on with the suit jacket
I enjoy listening to your brain talk - the topics are soothing and not generic
Great voice to listen to .
I agree ✌️🌺Have a nice day 🙋
Perfectly stated.

You never fail to amuse me
you're my version of ASMR. your voice is just relaxing
My friend is into the ASMR thing, I like this better, listening to Peter ramble on about the dishwasher while drawing a cool piece of art is so relaxing.
I think we are long overdue for a new Peter Reads. Listening to you read A Color out of Space got me back into Lovecraft. Need moar!
I bought a waffle maker recently that has different plates, it makes mini doughnuts or waffles depending the recipe and the plates you use. It's great! Also made chaffles for the first time this week. I've seen that you can also buy silicone waffle makers that you pour the batter into and pop in your oven. Everything in that box looks fun 👍🏻
The spinner flick was satisfying. I find it funny how different it looks on camera
It brings me joy to hear about your cooking adventures.
Nothing beats buttered toast as a midnight snack.
I like washing dishes by hand ,it gives you time to think without being distracted,it’s like a little time out of life.
Yeah I actually have gotten to like it too. I didn’t like it as much when I was a kid, but now that I’m the one that made all the dishes dirty, it doesn’t seem so bad.
@@peter_draws I wear headphones and listen to music so nobody can disturb me .🤟
The sweatpants adjustment was the secret to bowling a spare.
My goodness - how handsome you look, Peter!!! And what fun this was. Okay, bye. Love you.

WHAT! A tiny etchasketch ! Lucky you! Mind you you deserve presents with all the creative gifts you present to your audience.🌻🌻🌈🌻🌻
Uuuuu... love that pen case and pen. A bit heavy but still neat. It's a powerful pen!
Rocking the suit top and sweatpants bottom 👍
I got really good pots for a wedding gift.
I still use them 27 years later!
So you’re right! Good pots last!
Fantastic doodles as always 🎨💜
Love from Scotland 🏴🥰
We would highly enjoy more Peter Cooks. Please and thank you.

The box and components are so COOL! And you look amazing in a suit🔥 edit: you're wearing sweatpants but still🔥
Kids cookbook.. GREAT idea and I agree about the dishwasher💯someone should definitely get on that!😉😁
MUCH♥️LOVE

I got the peter pen!!!! 😁 loving every scribble! Much love from the UK dude, enjoying every vid 😀
I absolutely love your reactions to your presents and desperately want a dish washer with a window now.

Try to get all cast iron utensils, they are better for cooking instead of anodized aluminum & steel.
9:00 wow! I want one too....Please from where can I buy?
Ima take the red egg, thanks bruh for getting me out of this really weird version of the Matrix.
Food processor s are amazing, nice to see you're into your cooking Peter! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
i love you so much peter thank you for everything you do. you are such a valuable and important guy.
I primarily make my toast in a pan. Plus if you heat the pan hot enough for a quick golden brown, then turn off the burner, you can cook a perfect over easy egg off the residual heat.
I do the same. And he could cook all the bacon afterwards and just reheat when he wants a wrap.
Yes, kitchen things and art things are investments. 👍
That was so much fun to enjoy. Strange wording.
Looking rather dapper Peter 👌
I appreciate the dapper gentleman in sweatpants look today! That's a vibe. These are some of my favorite videos of yours. Your subscribers send you the coolest, craziest things, and it's fun to come along for the unboxing. :)
Also I'm super excited that you are into cooking now, that's so cool! Cooking for others is so fun and fulfilling 🥰
A perfect way to start my day!
Hey I was looking at your work 3 years ago and I think it's inspiring and I am ok as well in drawing I need to get my skills up like urs. Keep it up.
That was fun! BTW I was told that using a dish washer (filled up) was more eco friendly. It uses less H20
That is a super awesome box, I love all the stuff inside!
no worries my dude I'm dyslexic, and sometimes for people it doesn't pop up till they are stressed. Like my husband his is more noticeable when he's very anxious and stressed out. Me however.... omg that box and its stuff were soooo cute 💜
First time commenting here, idek if he read them. Anyways, toast and bagels are better in a pan than in a toaster! Add the butter to the bread and put it in the hot pan, butter side down. It cooks into the bread without drying the toast. Enjoy
Thanks for the tip!
Peter has come a long way from the grandma sweaters and long hair in his old apartment
I really enjoy watching your speeded up drawing, but could you do one that is in real time? I know it would be longer timewise. But I would be I terested in seeing that at least once.
Peter, can you try to wear a long wavy hair next time? And a "Hellfire" shirt. Eddie "the Vanished". 😍
I suppose I took it for granted, but yes, it's nice to be able to see what's going on inside and _really_ know your dishes are getting clean.... lol 😄

Look for the already cooked bacon. It’s a little more expensive but less mess. I keep the package in the freezer and just take out a slice or two as needed.
Is Mr Peter finally running for presidency?
"Boingggg"....... what is that?!🤨
😂🤣 damn your timing makes me laugh never change
Awesome pen. If that pen was a van 🚐 it would be the kind with an airbrushed Viking warrior or something of the like riding a dragon in the middle of a space nebula. It’s bold ,it’s tacky ,it’s awesome.
Love the sweatpants with the tie and jacket!
We precook our bacon in the oven for stuff like sandwiches and burritos. Bake a whole pack of bacon, put it in the fridge, good for a week-2 weeks
Nice suit. And that lil Etch-a-Sketch keychain is a lot cheaper than a drawing tablet for mobile drawing.
Lucky, Lucky.
(edit) You need to try frozen waffles. I recommend any kind.
I thought the shower steamer might be good when you have a headache
Thank you! I tried it, it is very calming, i feel like I’m at a spa
Wears his suit and tie with sweat jogger pants. I love that though.
You can knock somebody out with that dragon pen!!
There's awesome cooking channels like food wishes that are great for getting started
I don't know why, but I'm obsessed with this drawing in particular. I love your art in general but.... Idk, this one is burying itself into my brain.
Very talented
Hunter/killer dishwasher! 🤣
As always very cool stuff!
I love your handwriting. You should do a video on teaching penmanship.
Pinecone dragon. The top has tigers eye stone. Pricy pen. Beautiful though.
I love that you're all posh and Man in Black until you stand up and reveal the Pandemic Track Pants.
Hey Peter, congrats. on cooking. The suit was really happening until the sweat pants, I hope you weren't wearing Crocs. Love the Jinhao pen and your art. 👍
I cook everyday and everyday I long for a dishwasher. I'm making chorizo and potato tacos tonight but honestly I'd rather be making toast.
looking sharp sir Peter!!!
That dragon pen is very cool where do we find one?
Your thinking/reading problem could be due to mold (or COVID). You might check your home for mold and make sure to vacuum frequently.
Thank you, have a nice day
"There goes my work ethic" 🤣🤗😍
your right its never good enough. wise words.
Child cookbook cook extraordinaire
A super silent hunter/killer dishwasher 😂
I love this new getup. 💝
I learned to cook after I got a divorce. My ex husband wouldn't allow me to experimemt. Now that I'm single I try all kinds of foods. I'm not so bad. I'm so glad you are starting to cook. It's another form of art
1:26 AHAHHAHAHHAAHAHHAHA That pause is hilarious
Love shirt/tie/blazer/sweat pants ensemble 😜

I learned probably a dozen recipes from that book that I still use today. The original one I saw was 75.00 somewhere. I have my worn one. "Worn" being an understatement. So I got another one for myself and my sons wife. My son loves to cook. And he remembers mom getting that cookbook out. (nostoligia warm fuzzies!) Other than that book, my Sicilian Grandmother and my Mom taught me a few very family Italian dishes. Good luck with the cooking. You could get good enough to have your own recipes and make your own cook book like me one day "coughs". Yes, one day...ha.
Eggos……. Waffles that you don’t have to make. You can just toast them.
