yea a spray-on clear-coat would be perfect. maybe a couple of coats... then the walls can be washed when they get dirty, without washing off the art. :)
Lisa Yarost now this is dope as all hell but a mural is probably seen as higher than a painting. Are you saying that his doodles are better than the Sistine chapel?
I’m saying that calling a room in which every available surface is covered with artwork a mural is an extreme understatement, in the same way that calling the Sistine Chapel a painting is an extreme understatement.
Lisa Yarost I understood what you were going for, it’s just that in life you NEED to make sure your point is clear a slip up like yours but instead of paintings using sizes of something could end up making a huge disaster
Lisa Yarost Two things 1.) I hadn’t corrected you in any way I merely stated that how you explained *an opinion* could’ve come across as confusing 2.) Why do you gotta be such a dick?
Wow, that reminds me of Aztec or Mayan art. I am at once inspired and a little sad that I could live for a thousand years and never have your talent. Your art is inspired and inspiring. Your art proves that You Tube had hidden delights.
I have a form of colorblindness that make me not see colors the way others do. Your drawings have opened up a new world of art for me. Thanks so much. Keep it up.
I would never vandilize your art. You're my favorite underbite artist. This was calming to watch and I felt the excitement of you getting a paid fun art gig. Congratulations.
The negative space in this installation allows for your art to breath. It gives people the ability see everything without feeling overwhelmed. Very nice indeed. Keith Haring would be pleased.
holy shit there's just so much of it it's overwhelming. I'd excuse my friends, go to the bathroom and they would think I had diarrhea or something while I would be just inspecting this universe of bathroom doodles.
"didn't get a chance to poop on any of the toilets" damn what a shame... Also don't you not use toilet paper and just get straight into the shower? I remember that from your doodling on toilet paper video
Peter, you know, not all heros where capes, but you do, on Your head. I like the fact that you know your a hero and where a cape to show and acknowledge that fact, but its small, which shows your modesty and humility. Good on you.
I've been watching your videos for about a year now. I just want to say that I'm absolutely in love with your art of style. I love the random unplanned drawings, but I'm absolutely mesmerized by the characters and spaceships and towns that you draw. It looks like pure chaos until the last final pen stroke when it all comes together and makes sense. Seriously, I cant get enough of it.
Will it wash off when they clean the bathrooms? Since it cleans off so easy when you showered. I just got very worried all of a sudden that it might wash off.
k8g8s8 paint getting showered off of skin is very different than paint getting wiped on a wall, besides it's the same type of paint that's already on the wall
..And he is back! The one and only Dr. Peter Draws. You always brightens the day with you and your videos. I saw one of your videos back in 2012 or something and ive been drawing and ever since that first video. You thought me to just put pen to the paper and it worked. Today i had the first day on my second artschool and im so happy i found that video all those years ago. Dont know what id do without art (or you) Thank you! :)
Really like the red and the mint green together. Nice contrast. What a treat to be able to do something like this! Fantastic work, Dr. Draws. As always.
I'm colorblind so the red on grey/green walls make it look kind of like it's glowing and it's actually really cool. Although it hurts my head after awhile.
Why would someone thumbs down this video? Hell, the audio was great, videography was awesome, and his artwork is his. (which I find hypnotizing to look at)
Amazing! Funny how you painted that character with numerous eyes on the inside of one of a stall's doors, someone watching while pooping with many eyes. Hahaha!
This is awesome. I just wish such murals go to more public spots. It would be great to have something like that in a mall near the entrance or in a cinema or even a a club decoration.
I have been stuck designing a custom pair of vans for 3 or 4 days now because i've been in a huge artist block. I tried pinterest, instagram tags for art, other youtube channels but still nothing; until this video. Thank you Peter for this amazing boost in my creativity for me to finally start an actual design. Edit: Just spelling mistakes
I can't lie... I started watching the Peter Draws videos a while ago and I don't ever recall seeing what Peter Draws looks like for the longest time as I only remember to seeing videos of him talking over his drawing. So... I always thought you were maybe in your late 40s or 50s. Seemed like a chill older guy who maybe teaches art class in a school. Boy was I off! I can totally pair the voice and humor and I feel like the humor came more with seeing the whole picture/peter. Big Fan of your work!
hey man I love your videos, I like watching and sometimes just listening while I doodle or am writing game ideas and stuff. Here I go on to another one of your videos, peace.
Your art is just phenomenal!😍💗 I hope one day I can get odd and interesting shapes out of my head and onto a physical medium. Watching you doodle helps a ton with that.😄
Peter's Sistine Chapel is a brewery's (called the Pig Pounder) two bathrooms, there's something poetic and awesome about that... The art is claustrophobic and yet you want more, it's brash and stylistic and beautiful and unique and jaw droppingly amazing... Well done Peter, very well done..
So sweet! Love your work. I'm doing my first mural (also in a bathroom) and most of it will be free doodling, similar to what you did here. I'm doing it during off hours since the business is currently open. It's sweet you could do yours before the bar opened! Thanks for sharing & inspiring! :)
So I used to do Marketing/Merchandising displays for Wine/Liquor/Beer and one of my clients was a restaurant that had a "Display Window Box" where we placed and put in Seasonal displays that I put together for various products. The window was located in the Men's bathroom and in order to work on the window box it has a swinging box mounted to the back of the window. You have to open it and climb up on a ladder to swap out the displays. So it was an operational bathroom and I was often on the ladder well over the top of the divider walls in the stalls and there would be people dropping deuces while I was doing the displays. So its much better to work in a bathroom not being used. lol
Teacher: what do you want to be when you grow up?
Kid: astronaut!
Kid: veterinarian!
Peter: *bathroom painter*
Niche market.
he can poop and get paid to draw on the stalls.
If The Universe gave me a choice between becoming an astronaut like Neil Armstrong, or draw like Peter, I'd probably choose the latter.
free
That’s so awesome
I hope they sealed that water based artwork !! 👍👍👏👏
yea a spray-on clear-coat would be perfect. maybe a couple of coats... then the walls can be washed when they get dirty, without washing off the art. :)
DaBunne I was wondering the same thing.
To go in there high must be the most terrifying thing...
What I was thinking...
This is an under appreciated comment
Mina F 😂
Nah I’d be following every line. Knocking on the next stall so I could look at those!
Or amazing
Dr. Peter Draws does a doodle again
You know what the world needs
another 10 doodles... and in each doodle another 10 doodles... and in each every doodle 10 more doodles... infinitly
@@rockyrafty oww🤯my brain! That'd be awesome to see especially with Peter
That moment when Peter was drawing in a bathroom in your city and you didn't know about it
But now you can go there and pee while thinking of him.
@@sierrafly9242 I think of Peter when I'm peeing no matter what.
I live in nc too bruther
ikr, was just in greensboro a few days ago.
Raleigh here.
Are you sealing it?
The hero we need, but don't deserve.
Definitely an improvement on what it all looked like before. So cool that you used red too.
Peter, calling this a “mural” is like calling the Sistine Chapel a “painting.” This is a completely immersive installation experience!
Lisa Yarost now this is dope as all hell but a mural is probably seen as higher than a painting. Are you saying that his doodles are better than the Sistine chapel?

Cswolfe107 your argument makes no sense. But if it makes you feel better about yourself to correct people who aren’t wrong, then you do you.
Lisa Yarost
Two things
1.) I hadn’t corrected you in any way I merely stated that how you explained *an opinion* could’ve come across as confusing
2.) Why do you gotta be such a dick?
Peterdraws needs to more attention honestly such an amazing artist
This was really satisfying to watch
it was!
So true!
I wonder if they will add a seal of some sorts on top because it kind of looks like it would eventually rub off or get smudged in like a month or so
Its a paint marker, So its like painting wall paint on the wall.
_ Abeo _ it's water based
Jason Vorhees most paints used to paint walls are water based.
Wow, that reminds me of Aztec or Mayan art. I am at once inspired and a little sad that I could live for a thousand years and never have your talent. Your art is inspired and inspiring. Your art proves that You Tube had hidden delights.
I love how Bob Ross videos pop up in my recommended and in the Up Next column after I watch Peter Draws videos.
wow that's so accurate
"It will turn into some sort of community art project" Perfect attitude
I have a form of colorblindness that make me not see colors the way others do. Your drawings have opened up a new world of art for me. Thanks so much. Keep it up.

I’ve watched peter’s videos so much that I’ve started to say “dra-wing” as well
11:32 that gave me whiplash lol
Seriously, you could make serious money doing this from time to time. I'd pay big $$$. This room is AWESOME.
The negative space in this installation allows for your art to breath. It gives people the ability see everything without feeling overwhelmed. Very nice indeed. Keith Haring would be pleased.

If you saw the house tour, there was a roll of TP on the sink in the bathroom suspiciously untouched
Oscar Armstrong that’s the first video I watched of Peters
I read this as he said it
Ask your self: Why am I so interested in Peter's bathroom habits?
I came for the art, and it looked great.
been watching your work for awhile now.
would be hyped to collaborate on a project for the spacestation!!
Peter is getting CINEMATIC with this stuff. So so sooooo awesome. ❤️
Does anyone know if this still looks as Godly as it did when he was done? I couldn't imagine anyone would destroy this masterpiece, but who knows lol.
Time flies when you’re having fun watching Peter Draws.
Peter, you know, not all heros where capes, but you do, on Your head. I like the fact that you know your a hero and where a cape to show and acknowledge that fact, but its small, which shows your modesty and humility. Good on you.
This mans ability to keep lines perfectly straight and parallel without even trying is insane
I rent and this is a dangerous video for me to watch. That thick clean line from that marker was damn satisfying
Thats gonna mess with drunk ppl baď!! Lmao
This is why I turn on notifications!
This has got to be one of my favorite videos of yours. Professional, as of course expected from Dr Peter.
This is bad ass. You're amazing! I can't wait to share your videos with my budding artist daughter.
Dang if I saw this in person I'd get arrested cause I'd definitely have to check out the girls bathroom too..and I'm not a girl

This looks great definitely going to plan a trip out there & check it out for myself.
THIS IS SO COOL. Also I hope they sealed that ish because it was glorious. GLORIOUS.
The outcome was really amazing and very interesting to watch. You certainly provided a LOT of eye candy for future patrons to admire! Nice work!
looks good Peter. happy you , expressive as ones unique touch
Amazing. Have you looked into interstate restroom walls? I think most all of them could benefit from your work. Something to consider.
