HAHA IT WAS ME I repeatedly asked for a desk tour and didn’t stop because I knew you would see it and have to eventually give in. I’m surprised it came so fast.... bless you Peter
I have an overwhelming urge to compliment you but I cannot seem to find suitable words that accurately describe how authentic and amazing I find you. Keep being Peter.
Your openness in sharing this tour of your space is really sweet. Thanks for being so friendly, with folks you can’t see. Your blinking smile near the end made me smile back. Even though you couldn’t see me.
Quite an enjoyable tour, very “Peter-esque” I especially enjoyed the laid-back ness of it very easy-going thank you, not everything has to be Jazza crazy! I will mention this even though we all know it if it’s not on the website you cannot sell it, spend a little time scanning to increase your revenue rates! Or to even create revenue. Hope you’re doing well in the lock down, be especially careful and take care of yourself.
It is the best „how my workplace looks like“ that I‘ve seen on RUclips so far! Because it is HONEST! There is not the typical stereotype ultimately clean and sterile surface with all the items neatly put into this specific place where it belongs (and-except for the sake of the video-never is...) and all that!!! There is stuff in the place that it belongs to, because YOU think this is its place! Very sympathetic. Probably even more, because now I don’t feel bad today, because MY stuff is all over the place, but I will EVER find everything in a split second. 👍🏻
Thanks Peter for being yourself. You are one of the handful of people on youtube that have inspired me to start my own art channel, not sure if that was one of your goals to encourage others to start youtube channels. I know you care about creativity and do encourage others to be creative and that is very cool. Yeah man - keep on sharing.
WOW, Peter! I didn't realize how sophisticated you are! I have been watching you draw for years, but haven't tuned in for about a year. Suddenly, it looks like you received a million dollars! All your art "stuff" is so much like my own, except for the technical equipment. I am glad to be back watching you for inspiration and comic relief!
These vlog style videos are always fun to watch! Thanks for the great content Peter, hope you're doing well! I can't wait to see that pen review you talked about earlier on in the video!!!
The "Three Five" Rotring (0.35mm) was always my favourite when I worked in a drawing office. Was a bit of nostalgia for me to see that one in your collection.
Peter, right now you are my very favorite youtubist. Watching your videos are not only relaxing because of the calm voice you have, but also interesting because you speak enthusiastically about the pens and art and whatever whenever. Thanks Pete. Greetings from Finland.
Great studio tour, Peter. It’s always nice to see where an artist works. I am part of a weekly blog hop called “What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday” (WOYWW) where we all show photos of our creative spaces and get the opportunity to be really NOSEY. We also share things we’ve been doing and give each other inspiration and we’ve made lasting friendships. It’s a fun weekly anchor. I keep telling myself “one day I will do a video tour of my studio...” - once I’ve tidied up, but of course it never happens. Chaos reigns. At the moment I can’t even cross the room - there are banana boxes full of yarn waiting to be put away once I’ve finished a project which is on hold at the moment while I work on something else. Such is the creative flow.
Not sure if someone already told you this by now, but when people tend to say "Water your plants 'x' number of times per week", I find that's really quite subjective and not always applicable or advisable for each & every situation, as there are so many different factors & variables for each plant & their environment (such as the humidity in the air, time of year, room temperature, soil conditions, watering style -- yes, different people tend to have different ways of watering their plants - etc.) So, the advice that I always give to people who're unsure about how often to water their plants is the same advice that was given to _me_ many, many moons ago when _I_ was a newbie at having houseplants: Stick your finger ~1 or 2 cm into the soil... if it's damp or moist then it _doesn't_ need watering, and if it feels dry then it _does_ need to be watered. It's as simple as that and is applicable for each & every situation or plant. A few extra bits of info: * If you ever see a plant is getting limp, soft & droopy, then it needs water STAT!!! Do not delay! * If some of the leaves start to turn dry & crispy at the edges... (and especially if there are _entire_ leaves turning brown, dry & crispy)... or like how that spider plant pup (yes, they're called 'pups', rather than 'babies', but whatever) was looking dry & crispy at the bottom/root area, well, that means it generally hasn't been getting enough water. * And, yes, just as plants can die when deprived of water for too long, there is _also_ such a thing as _over-watering_ plants. In worst case scenario, the soil at the bottom of the pot can rot (or even get moldy) from constantly being waterlogged, which then also spells death for the plant if not rescued before it's too late! Hope this helps Peter. And thanks for the desk tour... it was awesome to get another glimpse and up-close look into Peter's world & workspace!
Have been listening to M. Ward all day. Thank you very much for the unintentional music recommendation. (I would be very interested in seeing what your collection looks like)(Also any favorite books / must haves ie. drawing for dummies. lol)
Shaky hands? Too much coffee? I loved this. It looks cosy. Things only need to be organised enough to be able to function and find things. Creative spaces should not be over-organised, it's not a laboratory or surgery after all. Hope you are keeping safe, and doing good
You watch sound waves on computer when you comentate. You said that in ooold video before and I always wondered how it looked like for you. I can die happy now that I know :)
Oh man, I’m a creative person too…art and music. I’ve got crap (aka, art supplies, mainly and completed artworks ) piled everywhere around my house. Your tour showed organisation I’m envious of.
idk if anyone answered but, if you're worried about over watering your plants the default for most house plants is to water them every 2-4 days and change the watering regiment if it seems necessary (wilting, excessive leaf browning, dry soil, wet soil + wilting leaves, etc) hope thats helpful (:
Peter...i love your videos. Thanks for doing what you do. You've inspired me and my 3 kids to doddle and try new things, like....just start with a squiggle or a line. One thing I've always wondered and you've mentioned in your other video is that you can get stuck with certain shapes/trends in doodling/art. Have you ever thought of doing a video where you help/critique other people's doodles? I for one would love for you to look at my doodles and see how I could improve, be it small things like just using different shapes, or over all composition. Just a thought...keep up the good work.
Love the page and your style of drawing man. Awesome tour and I like how it’s a realistic tour and not some super clean setup version you see on a lot of tech ones. Keep doing what you do and be looking forward to enjoying more videos.
WOW, crazy wiring! Looks like behind my entertainment center lol! 😁 I didn't realize you used so many different cameras WOW... Your place looks like mine minus all the recording equipment hehe! 👍🥰👏 Thank you for sharing Peter! Stay safe, stay well! 😷💪
Sorry, I want to ask .. Before this studio existed, can you remember ... How did you start drawing and the beginning of your video on RUclips ... Thank you for sharing your drawing experience.
Peter I like your vids because you give sooo much info about all u do AND you don't over produce yourself!! not many views?? shame, we watch u regularly...as said, I hope u dint loose your flavor from future production
Peter your spider plants only need watered once their soil is almost dried out. Probably once a week or so. Overwatering them can cause their leaves to go a bit black :)
I have a request but only if you want to. You should make an action flip book like AndyMation. I’m curious what you’d create. I haven’t much more to say..Love your videos!
I'm never sure about scanning artwork. Ink is pretty straightforward, but I scanned a pencil drawing recently, adjusted the levels and stuff. Tried to keep all the values intact, and I don't know, it kinda looks like a lithograph more than pencil drawing.
May I suggest putting zip ties on the mug part rather than the handle or flipping the pokey bits around so that they don’t stab you and then they’ll even be like grips.
@@JK-xz1lt how on earth can you be expected to teach art from home? Okay, I get that it can be done, like learning from a RUclips video. But I believe that art should be taught 'hands on'....you need to be there, otherwise something is lost. Kudos to you for not giving up!! Onwards and upwards.....as cheaply as possible!!!😉😉😉
1. My Grandmother gave me those same grey and yellow scissors for my graduation. 2. I see you have put backgrounds on your computers since your last apartment tour.
Awesome video peter! I notice that you have a bottle of ruby Monteverde. How would you describe the color? Is it a pinkish red or more of a natural looking fresh blood red?
All of these are for sale I’m just not letting anyone know....
That’s about as PeterDraws as it gets.
I don't like many people, but boy does Peter make me happy

This set up looks like Neo’s desk from the early part of the first matrix movie when he was a hacker

Love that M Ward album.
Natural lightbulbs really make the difference when you are painting, and searching for the right color temperature.
This amount of Peter Draws content makes me the happiest person in the world!
Beginning the video by setting up the camera and exhaling; this follows perfect apology video standards.

Most tours that I watch make me feel ashamed of my (lack of) cable management so thank you for this!

Wow transfiguration is such a classic, gotta listen 2 that one again
I think the album at the beginning is Transfiguration of Vincent by M. Ward
Was anyone going to tell me Peter had music on Spotify or was I just supposed to find out by watching this video?
MiaKennedy he actually has a whole playlist as well
winston cat you’re right! Thanks for letting me know :)

is the black hanger new? and why not two?
Good tip to know if your plants have enough water. Is stick your finger in about 1/2 inch or so. If the dirt is moist then they have enough water.
I’m so happy you did this tour. Thank you

M. Ward's Transfiguration of Vincent on vinyl...nice! Nice desk...as well.

Thanks. I like Portland. I need to come out.
Need a good cable management. 22:27 Put baby spider plant in water, it will make new roots.
Peter could you please show us your record collection. I’ve been collecting for some time and it’s something that would be cool to look at

I saw the In Rainbows record. You truly are a man of culture.

great video peter i hope youre doing good bud! you really slam it home at the end

This is just 30 minutes of Peter making me look poor.
Oh, me too.....a Pigma Micron is a considered purchase, and so is decent paper to draw on!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
