I use my torch to brown and crisp the skin in that video Хобби
Thank you Heaps! It looked daunting BUT you made it so easy to follow and the chicken turned out bloody delicious!!
Am watching bcos my pressure cooker will be delivered tomorrow. After seeing this it’s gonna be the first thing to make 😋
Great recipe i just made it with your video thank you 🙏🏽
Cheers Matt, I would add onions (but less garlic), carrots, a very small bit of celery and whole (peeled) potatoes (maybe lightly oiled and peppered) to the pot also with a little bit more stock/water. Then just use some of that lovely liquid to make gravy whilst I steam some broccoli. Fantastic meal of chicken, potatoes, carrots, broccoli and gravy done without fuss!
The extra liquid can be used to make a wholesome soup, maybe with leeks or whatever is lying around?
Pax.
more spicing, flavoring Extra Virgin Cold Pressed (Real Olive Oil) I bring the water - chicken stock to almost the top of the chicken, can use later the left over STOCK in Soups an added bonus. Thank You.
Thank for share👍👍.
Does this cooking time work the same for Baking Hens as well as a Whole Fryer? I have a Baking Hen that I want to cook on Sunday, and I want to do it in my Pressure Cooker.
in ASIA we use lot of paper. We love crispy foods. i have added some more spices in ur recepie and its owsam man. Thank u
I am happy that you are making your own! My favourite part of cooking is changing the recipe to my taste.
Enjoy!
Do you make gravy with the stock?
From kerala
Can you substitute thyme with another herb?
It’s a bit late but sage and tarragon work particularly well with chicken. Careful with the sage as it’s particularly strong.
Will you be able to taste the chicken, with all that garlic and seasoning Good video interesting
Chicken is pretty bland, you need a lot of seasoning
Did you wash your hands after touching the chicken prior to touching the pressure cooker?
Yes, absolutely, but I tend to edit handwashing out of the video, it sounds horrible, just a bunch of static.
Good man, may be worth mentioning that in future videos in a caption as it will reassure viewers. Keep up the good work.
@@sanjayp2683 why would I give a shit if he washed his hands? He ain't cookin my chicken
@@timhoovermusicman hahaha
Good, but we Indians are used to spicy chicken dish.
I watched your whole video and would have loved to see you carve into it to make sure it cooked all the way😦
I'll make a note of that, I do recommend getting a meat thermometer. Food poisoning is very unpleasant (so I'm told)
I just purchased a pressure cooker, but after seeing this video I am not going to cook a whole chicken. I've never seen a more unappetizing chicken.
Eat a bowl of mush
Pressure cooker chicken is good. If you have a pressure cooker/airfryer combo then that is good as well. Pressure cook the chicken and when done turn it to air fry mode and let in brown .
I’ve used this style of cooking. It produces a good flavour chicken that makes you feel clean afterwards even if it isn’t crispy or crunchy. Fried/roasted can leave you feeling heavy and takes longer to digest. I use more water than this, add some low salt bone broth from powder, a few carrots and some spring onions pushed into the cavity. I add juice of a whole lemon and throw in half of the lemon rind. This produces a gespachio kind of flavour. You could live of this chicken and the carrots.
Looks aren’t everything, it would taste very nice but it won’t have crispy skin.
