Perfect! This was exactly what I needed after doing a clean install of Windows 11. Previously I was fumbling around in the Microsoft Store and found that I had purchased this app on one of the screens, but there was no option on that screen to download it again. I got a new laptop yesterday it was Asus and the office ever antivirus was in, today when I open it it asked me to restart the computer to avoid data loss, so I restart it and there was two options one with the restart and install and one with only restarting so I click the restarting one, it has been for hour and until now it didn't open, and I am so scared that the office will be gone, what should I do please help
Did you sign into your microsoft account when initially setting up the computer? If so, are you able to see Office underneath "services and subscriptions" on account.microsoft.com?
What to do when you no longer use the mail address that purchased the Microsoft 365 Office with, and have forgotten the password but I still have the product key. I did try to change the password but "Yahoo" did not allow the change. Is there any other way that I can install my Microsoft product key on my new laptop? By the way, did I mention that my old laptop is broken? Can you offer any suggestions?
If you no longer use the email address that purchased your Microsoft 365 Office, have forgotten the password, and cannot change it through Yahoo, you can still try a few methods to resolve the issue and use your product key on a new laptop. Here are the steps you can follow:
Contact Microsoft Support:
The best course of action is to contact Microsoft Support directly. Explain your situation to them, and provide your product key. They can help verify your purchase and assist in transferring your subscription to a new email address or help you regain access.
Use the Microsoft Account Recovery Form:
If you remember any details about your Microsoft account, you can use the account recovery form to attempt to regain access:
Go to Microsoft Account Recovery
Enter the email address you used to sign up with Microsoft, and follow the prompts to verify your identity.
Product Key Redemption:
If you have the product key, you might be able to redeem it on a new Microsoft account:
Go to Microsoft Setup
Sign in with a new Microsoft account or create a new one.
Enter your product key and follow the instructions to install Microsoft 365 on your new laptop.
Yahoo Account Recovery:
Attempt to recover your Yahoo account:
Go to Yahoo Account Recovery
Follow the steps to recover your Yahoo email account. If you can regain access to your Yahoo email, you can then reset your Microsoft account password.
Proof of Purchase:
Gather any proof of purchase you might have, such as email receipts or transaction details. This can be useful when contacting Microsoft Support for verification purposes.
Check for Alternative Email Addresses:
Sometimes, you might have added an alternative email address or phone number to your Microsoft account. Try using those for account recovery.
I just reinstall my Windows 11 (clean install) after bitlocker locked me from everything. you know why. for windows 11 i found that i don't need to do anything just install it like i own it, no need activation or serial numbers or whatever. the question is, can i have the same privilege for my late MS Office that also already RIP together with the old win 11? the worst is i don't even know what type of office that i had before: 2016, 2019 or 2021. i didn't really care about it before bitlocker showed me its (devil) power.

Just ensure that you're signed into the correctly associated MS account when following the steps otherwise this process will not work.

Does it ever ask for activation.... Also does it require payment?
It does not require payment, assuming you're reinstalling a previous purchased installation of Office. Be sure to check out Indigosoftwarecompany.com if you need a new installation.
