Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. Even when I exported the file, the icon in the downloads was not an Edge icon but a blank paper icon (i have Edge installed on my computer). It was an html file though. I did all the following steps as described in the video and after MS 365 was done with installation, I checked in my search bar and I couldn't find Word or Excel as separate apps but only Microsoft 365 (office) and when i clicked on it, it showed me all the apps but it still asked for my email and password and asked me to open it in a browser. I wanted this to work so badly because I'm sick of not having all the apps, I don't know what I should do. :(
EDIT: It does work online, I can even export file to my computer for free, I did have to login but it's still fine since all the apps work but I'd still rather use it in offline mode. If anyone had a similar experience as me, I'd be more than thankful to hear any possible solutions.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me.
I was using MS Office Home and Student 2019 which was preloaded with the HP laptop and the vendor did not provide the product key. I used it for 5 years without any issues and one fine day it stopped working and I kept receiving notifications to upgrade to Office 365, but I could not without the product key.
Installed the developer version, it worked fine for 90 days, and with prior warning, it was deactivated post 90 days due to lack of developer activities from my end. The Apps & features section does show the Office 2019 version on my laptop. Am I expected to uninstall the earlier version? I now use 365 online for free. I have an account with admin rights. But I would like it installed on my laptop.

I re-tried installing and the installation was successful this time. However, When I tried to launch 0ffice 365 was prompted to sign in with my account or provide a product key,. So I had to be online to sign in. This version does not allow to save a file locally/own HD. By default it saves on cloud. I want to save my files on my laptop and also use office 365 offline. Will the second (the link that you shared) allow me to work offline and save on my HD?
Forgot to mention that while using Word, it constantly prompts to buy the apps!!!
