I have the Patriot in .308 W, the MVP LR308 Thunder Ranch in Kuiu Camo (discontinued,) the 590A4 SPX 12 ga, and now the Patriot Predator 7 PRC. Accuracy, especially as I was not a good shooter at first, was not quite as good as 1 MOA. I put the .308 in an MDT chassis and that tightened it up to about 1 MOA at 60 rounds of no rest. The MVP is a composite stock and a medium bull barrel, so that is sub MOA. When I got the 7 PRC, I did not fire in the stock. I put it in an Oryx chassis. The problem I have had with the Patriot and Predator synthetic stocks is the gap at the rear action screw guide. You can never get proper torque. Others have done okay with factory stocks. But let me put it this way. The 7 PRC in a chassis in a 2 shot hunting group is .41 inches (.39 MOA). Which is great for hunting. You usually have only one to two shots at a deer.
Bought a Patriot Krytex in 22250 on Black Friday 23. The trigger actually hang fired and was sent in for replacement. Got it back and bore scoped it.. OMG it had pits, galling. Chatter groves and patches of missing rifling. I sent the pictures to Mossberg and their reply was ITS SAFE TO SHOOT..WTF?
Lots of hate, coming presumably from people who bought a patriot in 308; dunno what happened but there are tons of videos of people shooting 4-5" groups with those. Ive had a 100 ATR in 243 (the models they started putting LBA triggers on) and i typically get sib moa with just about any ammo 90-100 gr from PPU to Hornady, except Winchester... And thats not because it won't shoot it, just because i won't buy it. Ive had too many snap on me and it left a bad taste in my mouth for Winchester ammo
@@bass_life2177 don’t know where you are buying guns but I got my Howa H-S precision for $900…… and they are still selling them for that much. You wouldn’t spend 200 more bucks to have quality built accurate rifle that been being made since the mid to late 70s?
@@bass_life2177 also the title of the video says “best rifle ever made”…… I was simply disagreeing…… I wasn’t mad at the guy. He likes them and that’s fine. To each his own.
@@JUSTBEINGHONEST47 I do like them, they shoot great and works great. I think that people who hate them just don’t know how to shoot. And the title is meant to get a reaction from people who hates or dislikes Mossberg.
Absolutely the WORST rifle I have ever owned and shot. Wouldn’t hold consistent groups, tried different ammo, re bore sighted numerous times. Couldn’t trade it in fast enough. Absolute junk and a disgrace for mossberg
I am glad to hear that ,I just picked up my 7MM 08 mossburg today I am waiting for my Boyds wood chassis to get here!
By that title the gonnge must be the best ever. Hoot Hoot. Lmao.

Mossberg rifles are a good budget rifle, I bought mine for $230,
Yes they are,and even a bit more.

@@Fisherhunt56 I am sorry to hear that, maybe I have been lucky so far. I have had no issues so far.
What caliber are you shooting?
300 Win mag

No matter how bad ppl claim the rifle is, i wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of it!!!😅😅😅

yeah I dont know, I have athe 100 ATR in 270 shoots great smae with my other 3 mossberg rifles
I h Ave 3006 ATR and it shoots just fine. Here where I hunt if you get 150 yrd shot it's unusual.
Plenty of reviews showing how this is the bottom of the budget rifle barrel.
@@TweakRacer Do you own one ? Have you ever shot one ?

They make one hell of a boat anchor. I wouldn’t trade my Howa H-S Precision for a safe full of mossberg rifles.
Thats great that you have found the brand of rifle you like !!
You really compaired a 1500 dollar rifle to a 700 dollar rifle

A man who only owns one rifle is likely very much better off with a slingshot if he owns a Mossberg.
Sounds like you are a big big fan of Mossberg, that is really cool.
