his inability to find a tough call with trips earlier put himself in that position to get unlucky. i feel 3 handed when he has AK in that spot, badz is just going to be bluffing a good amount of time to find a call there. instead he got bluffed off and ended up taking 2nd in event
I think he could have made the call. Very uncomfortable but he still has a $2m stack if he's wrong after making the call. It's a very tough spot though.
That small bet and then checking was kind of weird. If he followed with a decent sized bet, probably would have got him to fold when the 4th spade hit.
The KJ bluff from Badz is pure perfection… the sizing and approach at every decision point… and the A river was such a perfect card to continue!!! Amazing. Would love to see a Polker Hands on this one.
@@jcw8955 no cause they have to constantly glorify and worship every decision the "pro" makes. Even if a pro calls 3 peoples all in with K 4, they will still shamelessly say something like "well he gets excellent odds..."
that seems to deep to me too for AQos, but it seems like with the bb ante as it gets shorter handed they are shoving from deeper stacks than what has been the norm for awhile.
Dear God the comments “ oh they take so long” “why aren’t they laughing and joking around”. It’s a 25k tourney, final table 3 handed you absolute donkeys

Big Negreanu fan, don't take me wrong, but seams PokerGo in fishing for views with a click bait title. It's disrespectful for Badziakouski, to say the least. He's also a very big name in the poker world.
I know they playing for alot of money but they be tanking like if they can see throw the cards smh like to see guy's like Daniel he don't take forever unless it's necessary
Can anyone explain why A6 off would jam pre flop here, or why J9 suited would call, for that matter? Why, in the final two, would you essentially bet your tournament life on these hands? Did they have a plane to catch?
they might of chopped the money, or were wanting to get into the next tournament. Also with bb ante the effective stacks are almost more like 10bb than 20bb
Any non premium ax hand and non-premium pocket pairs want to shove around 25bbs or less heads up because the stack increase is very significant when villain folds. Plus, you do not want to face a 3-bet with a hand like A6o, especially when your opponent can easily put you in a hard spot 3-betting a hand exactly like J9s. Calling with J9s was questionable here but I guess it has to have to do with odds vs perceived ranges here. If he knows the raiser can shove many hands not dominating J9s, he's doing fairly well, at least 40%. Very unlikely for opponent to shove pocket Ts and up for 25bbs so you usually have alot of equity and it's for the title (cover villain). I personally wouldn't call off J9s in this spot but I'm not playing high-stakes poker like these guys.
How would you not call the river if you already called the turn? What possible card could have come that not only betters your hand and doesn’t improve his. That hand he had trip aces he should have either commit on the turn or called on the river. He couldn’t have asked for a better card if he already gave him credit for the flush.
I’m 10 minutes in and this whole thing so far seems odd to me. There’s no camaraderie. Everyone’s acting like a friggin statue and what’s with all the stalling? How many times do you hear the dealer with her little chip rake device tell these guys 10 seconds! Wtf
having 2.5m and not to call 0.5m for 1.3m pot on the river with AAAKx? small river bet could have been easily called . and flash bluff exposed. a cheap price. he should have paid.
Good odds does not mean he have to call. This bet looked like pure value What hand does he beat? pure bluffs only. Ax with no spade just checks behind with showdown value.
