Great video Daniel. Watched it all the way through and waiting for more. By the way is this website legal in Thailand? Lots of rich expats out here that live poker ♥️
@@prgnify lol, the word ‘Expatriate’ or expat for short is a real word- you might not agree with what groups tend to be called expats vs other groups who tend to be labeled immigrants even though they are both doing relatively the same thing. There are situations though where the word expat is a better descriptor than immigrant so it has valid uses… I agree it’s used a little loosely though and basically anytime an old white guy from the US, UK or Australia wants to move to southeast asia and bang younger women they call him an “expat” even though really an expat is someone who has taken residence outside their home country and is a skilled worker or educated or some kind of artist and has been sent there by their employer or maybe independently… To me some old low skill worker from Australia who moves to Thailand to make his money stretch farther and to get a 19 year old girlfriend is less an “expat” and more like a sex tourist or something. The quick complicated math top poker players employ is so impressive to me... I just use the rule of 4&2 to get a base percentage on my number of outs, it seems automatic for them to do deep math instantly. I'm considered bright but I have to work they calculate automatically it's insane, yes it's simple math but math isn't simple on the clock!
Regarding the unexploitable style, I am glad you had brought that up because it should get a little more mention. I find myself online being that way ha.
A friend and I were playing heads-up texas hold-em. She had $21 left in her stack. I had $229. The blinds were $16/32 and she had the button and therefore had the small blind. She put in her $16 small blind and I put in my $32 big blind. She saw her cards and then pushed all-in with her remaining $5. She claimed that I was required to put in an additional $5 so that I'd have $37 invested into the pot even though she was all-in for a total of only $21 invested. She claimed that if she won the hand, she would get my $37 even though she had only begun the hand with a total stack of only $21. I disagreed and said that the most she could win from me was only $21 and that I'd be entitled to have the excess above and beyond my $21 "call" returned to me. She insisted that I would forfeit the full $32 big blind plus the additional $5 she had "raised" to go all-in. Who is right and who is wrong?
Thank you fore the insight Daniel, really great play. I'm truly learning a lot from you, hoping to change my life one day with poker, or at least having fun trying along the way. Thanks again.

Definitely one of my favorite poker personalities
Dude… u know your right. How can one gain chips that they did not risk? They can’t
Like if it was a three way hand, this would have created a side pot/main pot situation
New to poker. Learned more listening to this than any time I've ever played. 😂
i watched this whole stream and then finished second in a tournament the next day. that was a first for me.
9:05 - 10:00 .... incredibly valuable nugget of information.
You're my only idol when it comes to poker. Really happy you shared this. Sending blessings and good vibes from India.
Thank you fore the insight Daniel, really great play. I'm truly learning a lot from you, hoping to change my life one day with poker, or at least having fun trying along the way. Thanks again.
Thanks Daniel, you're awesome and a great resource for a recreational player who wants to get better and understand the game and how it's played. Loved your podcast with Lex Fridman, especially your dedication to consistently improving your own thought process.
Mr. Negreanu has demonstrated emotional intelligence and control. He has consistently been a Class act. Makes this Canuck proud. Stay safe
wow I have learned so much watching you play it awesome thank so much for doing these videos from one Canadian to another! best content any where!
This is the most interesting poker content. To be able to peer into what he’s thinking as he plays. I soon began to realise he sees things I just don’t see. It’s usually about what the other guy is thinking.
Daniel you monster! pro blackjack player and i love watching your educational content. i entered a no limit tournament after not playing in 10years. I placed in the the money! thanks for the edge Daniel.
Nice going! Feels great to cash after barely playing.
Pro bj. Can you teach me how to keep aces away from the dealer 😄
GTO was always the goal for great players going back in the day, only difference is now we have computers telling us what the precise answers are to the situations. Watch old tournaments, and you’ll see balanced play being played by top players.
I'm so happy this came in my suggestions. Always was a fan of DN and now I'm playing again. Subbed.
Interesting. Before watching this I thought I played tight. Now it seems like I play incredibly similarly albeit for different reason. Fascinating. 2 different theories producing the same exact game play.
love it, some of the poker lingo i didn't understand but still great content
I watched this stream live and was really bummed for you, but valued your insights throughout the stream
Daniel makes complicated strategy easy to understand.
I watch your videos eating popcorn, is just so much fun your reasoning as you play.
Congrats Daniel! That makes a winning year amazing! Limp strategy works! Awesome!!!!! Small ball
This is the best I've ever seen you play. I just learned a lot. I wouldn't have played as well. Thanks for the content
To Daniel's editing team, all love, but as some constructive feedback, I was specifically looking for the tournament highlights, and had no idea that was going to be this video. Might want to change the thumbnail a tiny bit, and maybe add "Tournament Highlights" in the bottom right
@6:14 I think leading river here makes most sense. Screams a busted flush draw, or if opponent has one they might try and raise bluff here.
Big fan Daniel can't wait to get better watching your videos even if I just play a small house game with friends
Not even Jordan would win then do a Vlog explaining how he did it...GOAT!!!
Kid poker with the best content available
Hell yeah I'll take the free coaching from one of the greatest... Thanks Daniel!
This is frickin amazing. So great to hear you think through your lines
Maan, DNegs has some good music taste! Love this guy
awesome video. Super cool to see GTO explained play by play.
The Alec Torelli commercial before this video though. LOL.
This is great....how a great player considers the the options.....this is tools, not rules - great content !!!!
This is fascinating. Thank you so much for this, Mr. Negreanu!
